Whenever I play basketball for a couple of days continuously my lower back begins to hurt. It reduces if I stop playing but comes back if I start again. This has been since almost a year. Should I be worried?

The sudden movements and jerking motions required by basketball often result in strains that cause lower back pain. Low-impact aerobic methods often help prevent or relieve lower back pain by building strength and endurance in your back, which enhances muscle function. Aerobic exercise also helps Over-the-counter pain medicine with ibuprofen or acetaminophen often provides relief from minor back pain within a few weeks. Some cases of back pain normalize after an injection of cortisone, or anti-inflammatory medicine. Surgery is an option when your pain is severe and accompanies leg pain or muscle weakness that worsens over time.

I have very less beard and no moustache. What should I do? Is the use of medical a better option?

I have very less beard and no moustache. What should I do? Is the use of medical a better option?
Beard is purely a genetic make up. It could be a pituitary issue, hair follicle or their lack of, or could possible even be genetics. To make hair grow you need to stimulate, moisturize, and cleanse. Use a soft bristle scrub brush for the face and use circular motions using a eucalyptus, menthol, and/or peppermint type cleanser or lotion. The invigoration of the brush and cleanser/moisturizer will wake up that hair follicles and gives them a signal to produce. Make a mixture of Argan oil, Jojoba oil, sesame oil and olive oil and massage your beard and moustache daily to grow and maintain black and smooth hair.

I am 35 years old and have twins of 3.5 years age. I am suffering from dizziness since last 2-3 yrs. I am unable to stand, eyes didn't open. Whole body gets cold. After 20-30 minutes it gets normal. But, the body lost all the energy. Is it due to any tension or lack of water. Pls suggest the solution.

Get the blood tested to rule out anaemia. Thyroid function tests are also needed you seem to be sapped of the energy on account of managing the twins. It is quite a handful.

Hello, take homoeopathic medicine Berberis Aquifolium Q (10 drops in half cup of water) thrice a day for a week and update with the feedback. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *try not to squeeze, scratch, pick, or rub the pimples, it can lead to scarring and skin infections. *avoid touching your face with your hands or fingers. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water in a day. *avoid stress and anger. *avoid harsh skin products. *Avoid very oily, spicy and sugary foods. *Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet.

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium tcan worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Also, use Bakson’s Apricot scrub 1-2times a week on the area.

Get yourself a proper consultation. This might help- you can try 1) steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. 2) drink lots of water (around 2-3 litres/day) & keep yourself hydrated. 3) anti-allergic, antibiotics medications only after doctor's advice. 4) also take proper 8 hr sleep a day. Avoid late night studying/work. Note, you should not ignore the, as recurrent episodes may lead to development of polyps in nose & different other problems like infection. Feel free to get in touch for any further consultation.

A balanced diet is one that gives your body the nutrients it needs to function correctly. In order to get the proper nutrition from your diet, you should obtain the majority of your daily calories from: fresh fruits fresh vegetables whole grains legumes nuts lean proteins ADVERTISEMENT CALORIES What Are Calories? The number of calories in a food is a measurement of the amount of energy stored in that food. Your body uses calories from food for walking, thinking, breathing, and other important functions. The average person needs to eat about 2,000 calories every day to maintain their weight. However, a person’s specific daily calorie intake can vary depending on their age, gender, and physical activity level. Men generally need more calories than women, and people who exercise need more calories than people who don’t. The following examples of daily calorie intake are based on United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines: children ages 2 to 8: 1,000 to 1,400 calories active women ages 14 to 30: 2,400 calories sedentary women ages 14 to 30: 1,800 to 2,000 calories active men ages 14 to 30: 2,800 to 3,000 calories sedentary men ages 14 to 30: 2,000 to 2,600 calories active men and women over 30: 2,200 to 3,000 calories sedentary men and women over 30: 1,800 to 2,200 calories The source of your daily calories is just as important as the number of calories you consume. You should limit your consumption of “empty calories,” or those that provide little or no nutritional value. The USDA defines empty calories as calories that come from sugars and solid fats, such as butter and shortening. According to the USDA, Americans consume empty calories most often in: bacon sausages cakes cheese cookies doughnuts energy drinks fruit drinks ice cream pizza sports drinks and sodas IMPORTANCE Why a Balanced Diet Is Important A balanced diet is important because your organs and tissues need proper nutrition to work effectively. Without good nutrition, your body is more prone to disease, infection, fatigue, and poor performance. Children with a poor diet run the risk of growth and developmental problems and poor academic performance. Bad eating habits can persist for the rest of their lives. Rising levels of obesity and diabetes in America are prime examples of the effects of a poor diet and a lack of exercise. The USDA reports that four of the top 10 leading causes of death in the United States are directly influenced by diet. These are: heart disease cancer stroke diabetes ADVERTISEMENT ACHIEVING A BALANCED DIET How to Achieve a Balanced Diet At the core of a balanced diet are foods that are low in unnecessary fats and sugars but high in vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. The following food groups are essential parts of a balanced diet. Fruits Besides being a great source of nutrition, fruits make tasty snacks. Choose fruits that are in season in your area. They’re fresher and provide the most nutrients. Vegetables Vegetables are primary sources of essential vitamins and minerals. Dark, leafy greens generally contain the most nutrition and can be eaten at every meal. A variety of vegetables will help you obtain the bountiful nutrients that all vegetables provide. Examples of dark leafy greens include: spinach kale green beans broccoli collard greens Swiss chard Grains According to the USDA, Americans consume refined white flour more than any other grain. Unfortunately, refined white flour contains poor nutritional value because the hull of the grain is removed during the refining process. The hull is the outer shell of the grain and is where the majority of the grain’s nutrition lies. Whole grains, however, are prepared using the entire grain, including the hull, so they provide much more nutrition. Try switching from white breads and pastas to whole-grain products. Proteins Meats and beans are primary sources of protein, which is essential for proper muscle and brain development. Lean, low-fat meats such as chic.
