I have a desk job and in the last 2 years my weight gone up from 75 kg to 85 kg. I want to lose my weight please help.
Hi lybrate-user 12 Awesome weight loss tips Calculate How Much You Should Lose Calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) by writing entering your weight and height into a BMI calculator available on various websites. Calculated manually, you will divide your weight by your height. BMI will calculate whether you’re a normal weight or obese. Change Your Eating Habits If you find that you’re overweight or obese, you should change your eating habits by following the weight loss tips from experts. Eat more fresh, leafy vegetables, and reduce the portions. Cut out excess sugars, salts, and fats. Drink more water to keep your body hydrated and it also gives the feeling of full stomach. Eat Regularly It’s important to eat regularly and avoid skipping meals. If you skip meals, your body will store more fat than if you eat small, light, and nutritious meals throughout the day. Instead of having three big meals, try to divide them into five or six small meals. Exercise Regularly If you are obese, you may think that exercise is something you cannot possibly do. However, a sedentary lifestyle is contrary to the weight loss tips you must follow. Start out by sitting and lying exercises, eventually working up to standing and moving exercises. This will help burn extra calories and speed up your weight loss. Quit Eating Processed Foods Processed foods are full of preservatives, fat, salt, and sugars. Prepackaged frozen foods are easy to prepare, but are full of bad ingredients that are not advised in weight loss tips of professionals. Try Baking Instead of Frying The use of baking allows you to have tender vegetables and meats without the excess butter and oils. If you must fry, try using a lighter canola or sunflower oil. Stick to Natural Ingredients Fresh fruits and vegetables are low in processed sugars and fats. Local farmer’s markets are full of great buys like apples, peaches, lettuce, and spinach that will help you to lose weight. And walking around those markets is a good form of exercise and an extra benefit. Try Natural Herbs Natural herbs such as green tea and aloe vera are regarded helpful in losing weight as well as controlling the storage of fat in the body. Incorporate Different Spices into Your Food Certain spices added to your foods can help lose weight and should be added to your weight loss tips. Cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and black pepper are three spices that will help you to lose weight. Use Vinegar Two teaspoons of vinegar in a glass of water is said to aid weight loss. It also enhances the taste of some foods. It acts as a diuretic to reduce water related weight gain. Get Some of the Stress Out of Your Life Studies indicate that stress in your life makes some people eat excessively. Try breathing exercises to calm yourself. Take Trifala Powder Try adding a light dose of trifala powder in your tea. It is a mild laxative that helps to keep you regulated. Drinking tea, whether it is ginger or green tea, and triphala helps with maintaining weight loss and following weight loss tips. Expert’s talk" More than 90 percent of participants in weight-loss programme regain fat within a year and it is even more difficult for morbidly-obese patients"

Hello doctor. I wanna ask about hair prob actually now summer season n oil lgana mere hair ko kafi ganda look deta h ...
To have beautiful and Lustrous Hairs implement following things ------------- 1. Wash hair sparingly and use a good-quality shampoo. Washing hair too often can leave hair dried out, leached of its natural oils, and may damage your hair. Aim to shampoo your hair at most every other day or even only twice a week. 2. Try shampoos that do not contain sulfates or parabens. Sulfates are the chemicals that make shampoos lather up. Parabens are preservatives that cause irritation and eye problems after prolonged use. Both of these chemicals aren't healthy for you or the environment so try to use shampoos with natural cleansers (ARNICA-GOLD SHAMPOO of Company BAKSON) 3. Use conditioner that matches your hair type, length, and treatment damage. A good rule of thumb is to condition every time you shampoo your hair, although very processed or dyed hair probably needs a little more love than natural hair (HAIR CONDITIONER of BAKSON Company) 4. Be careful about using hair care products with too much protein. Too much protein can leave your hair feeling desiccated and brittle. While protein is the building block of healthy hair, use conditioners that come with balanced ingredients. 5. Rinse your hair with vinegar before shampooing, twice a year. Doing this helps to make your hair look shinier and cleaner; plus, it treats dandruff. Use 1 part vinegar (preferably organic apple cider vinegar) to 3 parts warm water, then rinse and wash your hair as normal. 6. Moisturize your hair. Use five oils: almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Mix together equal proportions of each. Alternately, use egg oil. Apply to the hair and leave in for four hours prior to showering out. Repeat twice a week. 7. Eat healthily. Give your hair the right amount of vitamins. Since hair is made of proteins, eat a balanced diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet will ensure hair that looks and feels better. •Make sure you get plenty of vitamin C. This vitamin strengthens hair. In addition, iron helps transport oxygen to blood vessels, zinc grows and repairs tissue, and omega-3 fatty acids grow healthy hair. •Give your hair some time to show new brilliance. What you eat will not have an immediate difference on the hair you already have, but it will help with hair that is newly growing. •8. Remove stress from your life. Physical and mental stressors will keep your hair from realizing its full potential. Stress can cause hair loss, so try not to let stress overcome you. This means finding healthy emotional outlets for your stress: yoga, biking, meditation, or other forms of exercise all work well.

Eat healthy - don't Diet. Eat fruits and salads. Drink lot of water. You can bring down weight by 3 Kgs in a month. 15 Kgs is not possible in a month. If you try crash diets, you will face nutrition deficiency which can lead to more problems. Better consult a dietician who can help you with a sensible and useful diet plan.

Recently I had my blood test which showed elevated FASTING plasma glucose 108 mg/dL. I never had sugar earlier nor it runs in my family. Past 1 year I had it checked 3 times and results were 85, 87, 87 mg/dL respectively. But now it's showing 108. Also my post prandial plasma glucose (2 hours) is 112 mg/dL. And result is negative. How come I have 108 fasting sugar with such low post prandial sugar? Is it a lab investigation error?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Some times there could be a slight variation in glucose levels. Even 106 mg, does not show that there is diabetes. Your PP is excellent. There is no reason to worry. You may do next check if needed after a year or so. Thanks.

I am 64 year old with constipation problem for last more than 5 years. My thyroid test is ok and I take one tablet of 100mcg eltroxin daily. Also I take one tab each of covomlo and riometod500 to keep my blood pressure and sugar level in range. I am vegetarian, teetotaler and non-smoker. I also take fibre rich food in my meals daily. I have found 'Kayam" helpful in getting the bowel movement but do not want to be dependent on it for life. I have tried Softovac and it was also helpful in removing the constipation so long as I take it. What other measure or medicine you suggest for permanently curing me from constipation. I live a active life with morning and evening walk and moving during the day for the work.

If anybody wants CURE for their problems ,we have to identify the root causes, till then temporary measures as you tried some causes of constipation in the age group above 60yrs Factors that predispose older adults to constipation are not a direct consequence of normal aging, though are often closely associated with it. A majority of people over age 65 take one or more medications that affect nerve conduction and smooth muscle function, such as opioids, anticholinergics, NSAIDs, calcium-channel antagonists and calcium supplements. Other factors that increase the risk of constipation in older patients include low-fiber diets, limited fluid intake, impaired mobility and cognitive disorders. Studies have also shown that distinct physiological changes affecting colonic motility can occur in older people. They include myenteric dysfunction, increased collagen deposits in the left colon, reduced inhibitory nerve input to the colon's muscle layer and increased binding of plasma endorphins to intestinal receptors. Diminished anal sphincter pressure or degeneration of the internal anal sphincter, loss of rectal wall elasticity, and, in older women, an increased degree of perineal descent also are well documented.

You have to look for thyroid disorder first of all .You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. One pound equals 3,500 calories. If you cut 500 a day from your diet, you'll lose a pound a week. People who lose weight slowly, about 1 to 2 pounds per week, are more successful at keeping the weight off. You'll also burn additional calories if you increase your physical activity. You weight-loss plan should do all of the following: •Emphasize fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. •Include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts. •Contain foods low in saturated fats, avoid trans fats, and limit cholesterol and salt (sodium). •Avoid refined sugars and processed foods. Some tips to help you lose weight: •Keep a food diary. Writing down everything you eat is critical! Noting how you feel when you eat will help you identify emotional triggers that may cause you to overeat. Emotional eaters tend to overeat. •Eat when you're truly hungry rather than when you're tired, anxious or stressed. •Eat slowly. If you eat too fast, you eat more than you need to satisfy your hunger. Your brain needs time to catch up with your stomach. •Plan your meals ahead of time so you make healthy choices. When dining out, check the menu online and decide what you will order before you sit down. Ask for dressings on the side. Opt for foods that are baked, broiled or steamed versus fried or swimming in creamy sauces. Avoid chips and bread baskets—they add unnecessary calories. •Stay hydrated. People often mistake thirst for hunger. •Eat breakfast. If you skip this meal, you'll be starving by lunchtime. You'll have more difficulty making healthy choices throughout the day. Find resources to help you keep track of your food choices and nutritional values and that can offer additional support when you need it.

Ringworm infection requires both external and internal treatment .If you suspect you have the infection, see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis. It is better to be sure if it is candida or something else . you also need to be certain if there are other underlying issues causing the infection.Meanwhile you may use curitop powder and keep the area as dry as possible.

Tachycardia means a rapid heart rate of more than 100 beats per minute. Supraventricular means the problem starts in the upper part of your heart, above your ventricles (the lower chambers of your heart). If you have SVT, your heart may beat at a rate of about 140 to 250 beats per minute.

SVT episodes usually don't last long and go away on their own without any treatment. They often happen in young, healthy people. You will usually get fewer episodes of SVT as you get older, but you may find that the symptoms get worse. How long an episode lasts can vary from a few seconds or minutes, to several hours.

Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) doesn't always cause symptoms but you’re more likely to have symptoms if you already have heart disease.
Symptoms you may get during an episode of SVT include:
being aware of your heart suddenly beating faster (heart palpitations)
feeling dizzy
feeling short of breath
chest pain
fainting
These symptoms may be caused by problems other than SVT.
You may need to have a test called an ECG. An ECG records the electrical activity in your heart to see how well it's working.
ECHO - This test uses ultrasound to provide a clear image of your heart muscles and valves and can show how well your heart is working.
you can take antiarrhythmic medicines by doctor.
These include beta-blockers, calcium-channel blockers and antiarrhythmic medicines. You can also take them to prevent further SVT episodes.

If I quit masturbation habit then everything will be fine I can live healthy life?
How to recover from my side effect...
Yes, frequent urination issue will disappear. The urinary difficulty will be due to frequent fingering and other actions without proper hygiene, so there will be relief. But you need to maintain proper hygiene of your genitals by washing the area every time after passing urine and dry the area with clean cloth. During the periods also see donot leave the pads on the genitals for long and in general keep the area clean and dry, which will relieve all the urinary symptoms. Shortness of breath and balancing problem you need give some more information like when do you get this shortness, any tests done like how much was your Haemoglobin etc. And dizziness, when do you experience it, while changing position or while lying down etc. If can come back on private consult we can interact and appropriate guidance can be given because in the open questions we should not give prescription, so come back in private consult option. Good luck.
