Hi doctor. I am getting my period much irregular. Infact I am getting Once in a two month since last few months. Actually I have PCOD problem. And as per my doctor suggestion I have done HSG test and I got the positive report. My both fallopian tubes are open. After that test I thinking that, I am getting my period more irregular. I have done that test on October. After that month till now I hv got 3 cycles only. So I thought like this. Is there any causes due to that Test for my irregularity? Please Dr. help me out.

Please Irregular menses are due to pcod I will suggest few points. Go for morning and evening walk daily Do yogasanas and pranayam daily Do perineal and pelvic exercises daily Take salads and fruits more Take carrots and beet root juice daily Avoid rice, oily food, non veg food totally Take Cap evecare by Himalaya 2 2 for 6 mths Lohasav 10 ml twice a day for 6 mths Ashokarishta 20 ml twice a day for 6 mths Reconsult me on Lybrate after 3 mths.

I'm 20 and I want to increase my height by 2-3 inches without taking any sort of medicines, I'm currently 5'5. I just want to increase my height with some exercises. Can it be possible?

Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. Of age in males and 18yrs. In females, so you do have 1yr. More to grow further! management: take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. Last but not least, do take enough of rest and sleep (which helps in repairing of cells and cell rejuvenation).

Hello..... Eat high carbs and calories in diet.... Take full cream milk and milk products...... Take soya products and also soya milk...... Eat nuts daily because it rich in omega 3 and healthy fat..... Take protein shakes daily.. Protein powder is easily available in market... Take it twice a day....... Take avocados, banana, cheese, white rice, potato, sweet potato, peanut butter , datk chocolate , soyabean etc....... Take homoeopathic tonic:- Alfa alfa malt ( 2 spoons twice a day ).. You can definitely travel while pregnant. As long as there are no identified complications or concerns with your pregnancy, it is generally safe to travel at all times during your pregnancy. The ideal time to travel during pregnancy is after 3 months because of morning sickness or nausea and vomiting. Your pregnancy can be confirmed on 2nd of april with urine pregnancy test.

I had got a big boil on my leg after shaving. The doctor had given me antibiotics. The wound healed. Maybe it was due to ingrown hair and staph infection. But there is a huge dark brown spot on my leg. How do I get rid of it?

The best tips to lightens and remove the spot mark. 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the dark spot. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will lightens the mark definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 4. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly.

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Please consult a physiotherapist for the same.

Hello doctor im 24 years old n im having gastric ulcers since many days .im getting sour liquid coming out n puking type feeling. I felt dizzy n checked my bp was 170/110 .is ulcer the reason high bp? Or there may be some other reason?

Hi. You are having ulcers as well as GERD. However it is not related to BP or vice versa. But stress and anxiety can be a reason for both conditions. Apart from medications change your lifestyle. To get glowing face apply these methods : • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water . • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water . • Apply one teaspoon of fuller ' s earth (multani mitti ) add one spoon of rose water mix it apply it for 10 minutes. • Eat fruits daily and drink a glass of milk daily . • Mash half bnana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion .
