I have a jhaiyan (black spots) on my face. What should I do to get rid of them permanently?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I have a jhaiyan (black spots) on my face. What should I do to get rid of them permanently?
Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Lemon Juice A quick and easy solution is lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. 1. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 2. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 3. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above. 2. Buttermilk Buttermilk is also beneficial in getting rid of dark spots. Like lemon juice, it also helps fade blemishes and black spots but without causing burning sensation. 1. Take four teaspoons of buttermilk. 2. Add two teaspoons of fresh tomato juice. 3. Mix the two ingredients (both have excellent bleaching properties) and then apply. 4. Wash it off after 15 minutes. The lactic acid in milk too, will gradually reduce skin pigmentation, and brighten and tone your overall skin complexion. So, if you do not have buttermilk, simply apply soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it directly on your spots. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash it off Put milk on a cotton ball and dab it directly on your spots. Repeat this procedure twice daily for four to five weeks. You can also prepare a solution by mixing milk and honey and apply the solution to your dark spots, leaving it on for 10 minutes.

Yes. It can be cured but takes time. You can try homoeopathy. You can share image with me, shall help you with prognosis. 1. Vit C: Synthesis of collagen which in turn supports hair follicles and keeps blood vessels in the scalp healthy 2. Protein: Egg, Soyabean 3. Vit A and B-carotene: Deficiency of vitamin A can cause hair loss and thinning hair. Yellow/orange and green vegetables and fruit such as spinach, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash, mango, melon and apricots. 4. Pantothenic acid and biotin are thought to slow hair loss and prevent graying of hair. Pyridoxine helps the body produce melanin, which gives hair its color. 5. Silica: It is also an important component of hair, and an adequate intake of silica is thought to prevent baldness and stimulate hair growth. Eg: strawberries, green and red peppers, millet, barley, wheat, cucumbers, oats, rice, bean sprouts, potatoes, and asparagus 6. Copper and Zinc: Sufficient levels of copper can prevent hair loss and contribute to hair thickness. Copper is also thought to intensify hair color and prevent premature graying of hair. Black sesame seeds, which are used as a remedy for hair loss 7. Sulphur: Meats, fish, eggs, milk and legumes being particularly rich sources of this mineral. Garlic, cabbage, onions, turnips, kale, lettuce, brussels sprouts, kelp, seaweed and some nuts also contain sulphur. 8. Iron: Dried fruits, egg yolks, liver, lean red meat, oysters, poultry, salmon, tuna and whole grains. Specific Best food: 1. Egg: Enriched with protein which helps in growth and improves the quality of hair 2. Bean: Contains silica which prevent hair loss. Helps the base of hair roots and helps to form new cells and regenerate healthy hair. 3. Carrots: Promotes growth of cells of scalp, thus helps in shiny, well conditioned hair growth. 4. Sea food: Contains abundant zinc. Fish contains Sulphur which provides essential fatty acids necessary for maintenance of healthy hair. 5. Dates and Raisins: Contains Iron which helps in haemoglobin production, thus enhancing the oxygen supply to the scalp. 6. Oats: Contain Zinc, Iron and omega -6-fatty acid, which again helps in hair growth. - Avoid excessive stress - Cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. - Avoid treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - Avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - Excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Best Oil to prepare at home would be – To coconut oil add plenty of curry leaf and onion, once onion becomes brown ,take out of flame. Best Conditioner: Egg white or Hibiscus powder Best natural medicine for hairgrowth: Chop onions and make a paste of it. Extract the onion juice and apply on the scalp. Keep this for 20 min and do head wash. Can find a drastic change in 2 months time if you do it daily.

Use a salicylic acid/ glycolic acid based face wash. Get your comedones extracted regularly. Use a water based moisturizer, even oily skin needs hydration. scrub your face two times in week. Use a mud mask weekly. Take salicylic acid or glycolic acid peels every fifteen days or month to improve skin texture, control acne and reduce scars and marks. Take a well balanced nutritious diet and exercise daily. Avoid face massages or application of greasy cosmetics and oils.

I recently moved into a new paying guest house. Two days ago I woke up at night with multiple bite marks on the skin and a burning sensation with the feeling of Bugs crawling on my skin. I have been having this crawling sensation for the past 2 days. Should I consult a dermatologist or is it a psychological problem.

Hye. Since you have visible bite marks, it is safe to consult a doctor. Change the bed mattress and if possible tell your landlord to get the area fumigation.

I am 50 years male I am safring last one and half years white spot in both hand finger's please right suggestions.

I am 50 years male I am safring last one and half years white spot in both hand finger's please right suggestions.
Hello. White patches/ dots on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. The white spots and patches can also be because of deficiency of vitamin d (for which 15-20 minutes of exposure to early morning sunlight without sunscreen is needed, 3-4 times a week). Or else they could be idiopathic (i. E, without any cause). Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated with homoeopathic medicines, but chances of relapses are also there. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. Meantime, you can start with homoeopathic medicines - cina 1m/ one dose daily at night and ars. Sulph. Flavum. 200/ twice daily for initially 1 month (it is safe). Apply a good brand's sunscreen with spf 40 on the skin (specially on the white patches/ spots) 20-30 minutes before going out under the sunscreen and reapply it after 3-4 hrs. Again.

I am 25 years old suffering from hair fall. I took treatment too but it does not worked out. Please suggest.

Dermatologist, Sonipat
I am 25 years old suffering from hair fall. I took treatment too but it does not worked out. Please suggest.
Diffuse hair fall can be caused by multiple causes like prior stress, prolonged illness, enviornmental pollution, nutritional deficiency and endocrinal factors. First of all avoid trauma, heat and cosmetic products on hairs, avoid use of shampoos containing sodium laurayl sulphate, take diet rich in proteins and vitamins. You can take nutritional supplements with 10mg of biotin. You can do hair massage with argan oil.

Dear Lybrate user external applications cannot cure acne as they depend on many internal causes and need a constitutional treatment for permanent cure, also avoid facewashes and creams use gram fluor and turmeric instead and eat more vegetables and whole fruits, drink plenty of water.
