Yes. They are quite important vaccines. Rota virus vaccine is to protect against severe diorrhoea caused by rotavirus. Depending on the brand cost is between 1000- 1500 per dose either 2- 3 doses. It's oral drops not injection. Pneumococcal vaccine protects against pneumonia and brain fever and severe infections cost depends on brand - 1600- 4000 hope this helps.

Yes some tiny holes do close on its own as the baby grows but you have to be extra careful in observation of blue color on exertion like crying, not getting infections, getting vaccinations on time (this has to be observed for every new born baby up to a year- 1st summer/winter & autum is difficult for every baby) good luck and take care.

Hi. One of the girl parent were suffering from HIV disease. And they are no more now. Will that be spread to their children any time in their life? Will it affect the future generation?

If parents have died of aids there are high chances of passing on hiv infection to kids. If tridot blood test done for kids at 6 months of age, will give status of infection. As tests done early in life may give false positive results. Regarding passing on to next generation, it's very difficult to have these positive kids grow up get married and have kids. If kids are non infective with hiv infection then also chance of passing on to next gereartion is zero.

Hello,. There could be two reasons. 1. Either the milk production is insufficient. 2. The baby isn't latching on to the breasts correctly. Please sort out the above two.

I think by blood you mean that stool has got something red in it. I would advise you to first get the stool tested for blood at a pathology lab near you. Blood in an infant's stool could be because of intestinal infection if feed hygiene is improper. Another important cause would be a small mass of tissue called polyp inside the intestine. If stool test confirms the presence of blood, please see a paediatrician in person.
