Healthy exercise for healthy gums - Gently bite down so as to make sure that your teeth make a clinking sound when they meet. Repeat this 30 to 40 times continously. This exercise will stimulate the flow of blood and will maintain the health of your gums.

Hi, The most common cause of bleeding gums and bad breath is gum disease caused by accumulation of tartar deposits on the teeth which harbour bacteria. The solution would be to see your dentist and, probably get a professional cleaning done.

If you hav developed pain in that rct treated tooth then you hav to visit a dentist, do xray of that tooth. If everything comes fine, then only immediately go for capping. If the treated tooth comes problematic, then go for retreatment or extraction followed by capping or implant.

Have cold. Tongue taste has changed. Few days before had fever.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist,
Its quiet normal symptoms during cold & fever which will subside on recovery. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Yellowish teeth - I have had braces some years ago and my teeth had become yellow post that. I brush properly but don't want to go for scaling as I have heard it damages teeth. Do we have an alternative so that I may get white teeth which may be a Polish or something like that.

Naturally our teeth colour ranges from pearly white to pale yellow so everyone cannot hv white teeth. Get scalling n polishing done by dentist. If u r not happy with ur teeth shade later, u can get bleaching done by dentist which 'll lighten ur teeth by 2-3 shades. Alternatively u can use a teeth whitening toothpaste such as snowdent after scalling. Whitening gels used daily along with customized dental trays provided by dentist r also available in the market. Avoid heavily coloured foods, tea n coffee, cool drinks, smoking n tobacco products as they stain teeth. scalling doesn't damage teeth but cleans teeth surface n is advised to get it done once in a year for all. u hv been misguided.

Yellowing of teeth is due to upatake of yellow stainn from the oiland turmeric used in cooking. You can't avoid the stain. But doing regular rinses after meals can minimize the stains. And give a more whiter look.
