For pain give hot and cold water fomentation thrice a day for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each to reduce your weight better have master health check along with crp cpk thyroid profile aso anti ccp electrolytes with abdomen usg and can follow gen physician or good gynaecologist or can contact me for private consultation via lybrate

This not agood sign. For subsiding it I suggest you some remedies 1. Have your dinner at 8.00 pm and sleep at 10.30. 2. Avoid over eating 3. Avoid heavy food 4. Yogarag guggul 1 tab before lunch and dinner.

If you feel you feel weakness are grossly underweight and not gaining weight, first of all you have to check if you have any disease like anaemia or thyroid disease by a blood tests CBC, PBS and TSH. Both hypothyroidism and anemia can cause all vague symptoms and inform these test reports.

Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hello dear, you seem to have strained your back. Take bed rest, mild analgesics (paracetamol), fomentations, pillows under the knees while lying. Later do back strengthening exercises.

Hi Although there can be many causes for heel pain like spurs, fascial inflammation, infection, trauma etc but normally plantar fascitis is the most common cause especially if there is no history of any injury or any s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness etc. This kind of pain is usually due to inflammation of your heel fascia. It is chronic pain which get aggravated especially when you walk more and is better with rest. Treatment modalities are aimed at relieving inflammation of the fascia, like ice packs, physical therapy, footwear modification and anti-inflammatory therapy.

Pain In Hands - How Massaging Can Help Get Relief?

The human hand is made up of 27 bones and a number of tendons and ligaments. An injury to any one of these bones or a disease that affects the bones and ligaments can make you experience excruciating pain in your hands. This pain can affect your ability to perform simple day to day tasks like holding a spoon or writing. Some common reasons your hand may pain are muscle strains, fractures, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Apart from pain relieving medication, there are a number of ways you can deal with this pain.

  1. Hot and cold compresses: Hot and cold therapy is ideal for any type of muscle or ligament injury. A cold compress helps in reducing the pain and inflammation by constricting blood vessels and numbing the area. On the other hand, a hot compress dilates blood vessels and increases the flow of blood and oxygen to the affected area. Ideally, the two should be used alternatively for 10 to 20 minutes each. A bag of frozen vegetables or ice wrapped in a towel makes an easy cold compress. To treat your hand with heat, use a moist heating pad or a hot water bottle. You could also dip your hands in warm water.
  2. Massage: A massage is a great way to treat hand pain that results from carpal tunnel syndrome. If the exact cause of pain is not known, massage the entire hand, wrist and forearm. A massage enhances blood flow to the area and hence improves flexibility and opens locked tendons. Using a few drops of essential oils such as lavender or rosemary can also aid in relieving hand pain.
  3. Hand exercises: If your work involves repetitive actions like typing, knitting or embroidery, the muscles in your hand can get locked into position thereby, causing pain and discomfort. To relieve this it is important to take a break from this repetitive exercise every hour and flex your hand. Try bending your fingers forwards and backwards and rotating your wrists in both directions to ensure that your joints remain smooth.
  4. Epsom salt water bath: For instant relief from intense hand pain, soak your hands in a bath made of hot water and epsom salts for 10 to 20 minutes. Follow this by wrapping your hands in a warm, wet washcloth and applying gentle pressure over the hand for 5-10 minutes. You should instantly feel relief from the pain and experience increased the flexibility of hand.

What do you mean by we - you both husband or wife or only you get the pain. If it is only one this means that requirement is to develop core muscle.

This is about my mother, she is in her mid 40s and there has been consistent swallowing in her body fat. She has gone through tests which said she is lacking haemoglobin. Now yesterday she had a cramp in her lower back while getting up from the pot and now she is unable to move freely. She can not even walk or get up on her feet properly. Her back is paining whenever she gets up. What to do?

Concentrate on iron rich foods and calcium rich foods - it's a long term goal. Exercise 1: now make her to lie on her back - bend knees with a pillow under - ask her to raise arms above - place a towel role at the site of pain - ask her to breath briskly & continuously for 15 minutes. Repeat several times. It may help her. Make her to lie on back - bend her knees (placing feet on floor) - rotate the knees together to both the sides as the pain allows without holding breath - after sometime ask her to try further range of rotation as the pain allows and hold for few seconds then rotate to opposite side and do the same - repeat for several times a day (not to be done immediately after food; take 1 hour break) *please avoid cushion beds. All the best for your mom.
