Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am dr akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is sad to read that there is a foot drop in both lower limbs but what is the cause for it and was any treatment taken for it because suddenly foot drop does not happen in one day. I can only think of afo to support ankle and prevent equinus deformity. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Problem in joint pain of legs while sitting down on floor cause pain in both legs and pain in joint also.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I think you have frozen shoulder. You need at least one month mobilizing exercises to loosen your frozen shoulder with some medicines.

this is may due to cervical spondylosis . Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. Start natural calcium supplement. You need to undergo janu vasti & start taking panchakatikta ghrit guggul orally. Calcium & vitamin d3 is not the solution. Please consult a panchakarma centre near you for janu vasti.

Vitamin d deficiency is common and is often underestimated as a cause of chronic leg pain. Please check your vit d and calcium level first. Other causes of leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps. Hello, I am giving you some tips to prevent constipation: 1. take 6-8 glass of water in a day 2.Regular Physical activity Keeping mobile and active will greatly reduce your risk of getting constipation. Ideally do at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week. 3.You should have about 30 g of fibre a day. You can increase your fibre intake by eating more: I am giving you list of some fibre containing food fruit vegetables wholegrain rice whole wheat pasta wholemeal bread seeds oats 4.Toilet habits Never ignore the urge to go to the toilet Consult Physician for further Management

Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

its mainly postural...avoid prolong sitting and prolong standing....keep your back straight by keeping a pillow behind while sitting..take tab zerodol p twice a day for five days...apply volini gel..do hot fomentation.good luck

Try to sit straight with your back support, avoid forward bending go to a physiotherapist to learn back strengthening exs and do it regularly it will help you.

This back pain is due to no back exercise. Due to this muscle get stiff. When suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start. In ayurved there is mentioned one procedure kati basti. Do this for five days with medicated oil if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation. So consult ayurvedic doctor near you. You will definitely get good result.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned pain in your shoulder region. Can you recall any event which might have triggered this pain? also you have a high crp levels and low vitamin d as well. As of now, if there is no swelling or any other s/s of any infection like skin redness, local warmth etc, I will advise you to continue with ice packs, anti inflammatory medication, local analgesic spray application, use sling for 3-4 days. But we will have to investigate you further once you get relieved from this pain. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi, how can you believe if some one says. Do you have any evidence? my advice: take x-ray of you r ls region, views are 1. Ap view 2. Lat view home advice -take rest for maximum time -avoid long sitting, standing, walking -if you want to travel for long time use gel bed in you r car -start back strengthening exercises & stretching exercises -do not sleep on soft bed, try to sleep on floor -apply any pain killer ointment precautions -maintain good posture/avoid bad posture -use ls belt if necessary (do not use for long time) -if you are working long hours you must be relax by frequent breaks. -maintain ideal body weight -have a balanced diet food.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Inform after 10 days.
