Here a few such myths The truth is that acne and pimples are caused by oily skin and have nothing to do with masturbation. Masturbation is a lifelong sexual activity. According to surveys regularly show 70 to 95 per cent of adult men and women masturbate. And while this may slow down as we age, many of us continue masturbating into our golden years. One survey of 800 adults over 60 yrs. Age found that that 46% of them masturbated, another found that 20% of seniors masturbated once a week or more. Masturbation is not just for the young, nor is it an immature form of sexual behaviour. The act of masturbation is as natural as making love, and, just like sexual intercourse it does not have any adverse effects on your health. Things like it causes acne, impotence, dark circles around the eyes etc. Are just unfounded assumptions and are not correct. Is regular sexual intercourse bad for you? Then how can masturbation be bad for you as it only mimics the sexual act. One can masturbate up to a couple of times a day with no ill effects. You just need to be aware about the difference between excessive masturbation and compulsive masturbation. The latter can lead to a few problems, if you fell that you masturbate compulsively, and then it is a good idea to contact a sexual health expert. Most people who are in a relationship indulge in masturbation. The need to masturbate has got nothing to do with a person’s relationship status. Again the unfounded social attitude about this act only makes people indulge in it privately and without their partner’s knowledge. Masturbation trains us to think that sexual desire is something that should be satisfied immediately, and it reinforces the idea that sex is about selfish instant gratification. While love is all about giving and sacrificing one's desires for the needs of another person, masturbation is all about training us to do whatever we want to feel good. Masturbation slowly but surely destroys our ability to give and receive love. It is just a way to release sexual tension While a man who frequently masturbates may find that he has a lower volume of semen per ejaculation, he would not run out, and he won't become infertile. His testicles begin producing and storing sperm during puberty and this sperm production continues throughout much of his adult life. It is a myth that satisfying yourself sexually will diminish your performance in bed.

Please note the following in respect to your queries: hibiscus flowers and leaves can be very helpful in preventing hair loss and to promote hair growth. Hibiscus flowers are used as an effective cure for split ends and dandruff as well. - heat 12-15 hibiscus flowers in 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. - strain the solution and collect the oil. Apply this concoction to the scalp and hairs, leave overnight and wash in the morning. To use the hibiscus leaves, grind them into fine paste and apply the paste to the scalp and hairs. Leave it on for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Rinse off with plenty of water. This controls the hair loss automatically and promotes hair growth. Also take arsenic 30 every 4 hourly and thuja 30, once a week. Continue treatment.

I usually eat dinner by 7pm and the earliest appointment I can get for getting my Lipid profile and Fasting Blood Sugar done is 8am. I was recommended to fast for between 10-12 hours before the test. Am I fasting too long and will my results be incorrect because of that?

No need to worry there will be no impact on your results if you are fasting for more time as increased or decreased levels of blood cholestrol are not based on 10-12 hours of fasting.

It occurs due to loss of control of the muscles of penis. Normally it is seen that when a person does sexual intercourse daily he gains control over the muscles of penis & can stay longer during sex. You need to take homoeopathic mother tincture salix nigra q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water to get rid of premature ejaculation. But before taking any medicine kindly notice whether you are having a second erection within 15 minutes of ejaculation for the first time. 1. Stop Eating When Your Belly is 80% Full-Instead of binge eating until your buttons pop, go slow and only eat until your belly is 80% full. It will help you avoid overeating. Also, your stomach will perform better with more space to produce digestive juices and break down food. Slow, mindful eating will help you sense your level of fullness. It takes about 20 minutes for the brain to register that the stomach is full. Research indicates that eating slowly also enhances satiety. Plus, it allows you to better enjoy the flavor of the food. Do not eat food or drink a beverage on the go, such as drinking your coffee while driving to work. You end up consuming more calories this way. Do not eat late at night. Enjoy your last meal of the day 2 to 3 hours before going to bed. After eating a snack, wait 3 hours before your next meal or snack. Likewise, wait 5 hours after eating a heavy meal. If you skip a meal, load up on fruits and vegetables first so that you do not overeat when you finally sit down to eat. Research shows that after fasting for about 18 hours, the body craves more fattening foods to load up more calories per volume. If possible, go on a detox diet once a week. 2. Keep an Eye on Portion Sizes-To reduce your portion sizes and avoid mindless eating, follow these tips: Downsize your dishes by using smaller plates, bowls and even serving spoons. In a 2008 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, participants were asked to serve ice cream for themselves in 17- and 34-inch bowls. Researchers found that people, even nutrition experts, who used larger bowls served themselves 31% more ice cream than those who used smaller bowls. Serve beverages in tall, narrow glasses instead of small and wide ones as they appear to have more liquid, thus making you think that you are drinking more. Do not eat chips and other packaged snacks straight from the bag. When at a restaurant, request a half order or smaller portion of your chosen entree. 3. Detox Drinks-flushes out toxins, balances the pH levels and helps you maintain a healthy weight. Another option is to mix 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a tall glass of water and drink it once or twice daily. You can also add raw honey to it. Although lemons and apple cider vinegar are acidic in nature, they have an alkalizing effect on the body. However, they may trigger heartburn if you drink them in excess or are prone to acidity. You can also drink delicious detox smoothies to support your body’s natural detoxifying abilities. Plus, it will count toward your servings of fruits and vegetables. Get off the Couch-Lack of physical activity is the most obvious yet neglected cause of unhealthy weight gain. People fall into the illusion of losing weight and staying slim with different weight loss diets, while disregarding the most basic rule—you must exercise to burn calories. You do not need an intense workout. In fact, you can enjoy a physical activity of your choice like brisk walking, running, jogging, swimming, dancing, aerobics or cycling. Even gardening can be great exercise as it helps you burn more than 300 calories per hour. Regular, moderate exercise will also improve your mood and reduce stress. Once you figure out the activity of your choice and fit it in your daily routine, you will enjoy your exercise and do it regularly with enthusiasm. 5. Eat a Healthy Breakfast-Try some protein-rich breakfast recipes, such as: A high-protein smoothie Boiled eggs Cottage cheese and fruits Greek yogurt Fortified cereal with milk You can also eat fiber-rich foods like oatmeal and sandwiches on whole-grain bread. Plus, replace your morning cup of coffee with green tea as it contains powerful antioxidants and promotes fat burning. 6. Steer Clear of Fatty Fast Food-Here are some tips to help you make better food choices: Substitute fries with a fruit, yogurt or salad. Opt for baked or grilled versions of fried foods. Choose plain, air-popped popcorn over high-calorie, oil-popped popcorn. Instead of products made from refined grains, choose products like whole-grain pasta, whole-grain bread, whole-grain cereals and brown rice. Check food labels for whole-grain ingredients like whole oats, whole rye, whole wheat, buckwheat, whole-grain barley, millet and quinoa. Avoid high-calorie sauces and mayonnaise by opting for plain sandwiches. Or, you could replace these sauces with salsa, mustard or a low-calorie dressing. Skip the sodas and go for light lemonade, green tea or herbal teas. 7. Stress- Stress is one of the most common factors contributing to weight gain because it increases the rate at which your body stores fat and reduces your ability to burn fat. Dear lybrate user, use your bed only for sleeping and not for other activities. Switch off the lights and other gadgets like television and mobile before you go to sleep. If you are not into reading books, please start now. You may read your favourite book during night time. The eye strain may induce sleep. You can have a bath before going to sleep. It is also known to induce sleep. Please do not sleep in the afternoon. That is the main reason for not getting sleep early at night.

Rajesh kindly update about your bowel habits and lifestyle for better assessment however for now you need to avoid spicy and oily food stuffs and also avoid drinking water on empty stomach as this further accelerates gastric issues. Apart form this use a Homeopathic medicine Robinia 30 twice a day for 3 and consult back.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Erectile dysfunction can be due to stress / anxiety or due to physical cause. For physical cause you need to do blood tests hb, tc, dc, fasting sugar, prolactin, tsh and testosterone. Stop smoking if you smoke. Check bp. If you are taking any medicine or nutritional supplement on regular basis then it may be due to side effect of that. You can be helped by allopathic medicines.

you may have umbelical hernia. you can have abdominal guard belt as a temporary treatment for permanent cure you consult a surgeon. or as you want to have ayurvedic remedy you can consult a naturoveda center which consists of ayurveda+homeopathy+unani+yoga. they may help you. for the time being you should take care of unnecessary exertions to avoid further damage or increasing the herniation.

You seem to have lactose intolerance. Avoid dairy products and eat wholesome vegetarian diet only. Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated.
