Due to some problems in my family I cannot sleep in night. What should I do?
Stop worrying, take bath two times, have regular light exercise, avoid spicy and pungent diet, take fruits and fresh juices. Practice meditation, yoga and pranayam, cultivate positive thoughts, and herbal preparations having calming effects on mind are required, this will help in getting good sleep.

1. Diet – Consume a low-fat, high-fibre diet helps. Eat lot of fruits, vegetables (at least 4-5 helping a day) along with whole meal, cereals and lentils 2. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Kindly mention your weight and height so that I can suggest you on calorie intake.

Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses. Cereals, potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantains etc. Can be useful for gaining weight. Also take vegetables, greens and fruits. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve digestion and absorption of food as well as blood circulation. Eat at regular intervals. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial to you.

The natural fat content in ragi is lower than all other cereals. Also, this fat is in its unsaturated form. Thus, substituting it for wheat and rice is a good choice for people trying to lose weight. It also contains an amino acid called tryptophan which reduces appetite.


BROWN RICE
Brown rice is low in energy density.

This means that brown rice can make one feel full while consuming fewer calories. Its water and fiber components make it low in energy density. It will help lose weight as it makes one eat less since it fills one up fast.

Brown rice is rich in fiber.

Fiber aids in good digestion. This translates to regular bowel movement which helps to consistently dispose of what has been eaten. It also optimizes the metabolic function which is beneficial if one is losing weight. Brown rice stabilizes the digestion and prevents constipation, too.

Brown rice helps lose fat.

Being whole grain, brown rice is not stripped off its nutritional components compared to refined grains such as white rice.



PULSES AND LEGUMES :-

SOYA :-
A significant number of research studies support claims that soy protein consumption can help lose weight due to its following benefits :

1) Soy protein helps one feel full and satisfied.

2) Soy protein has a low-glycemic index.

3) Soy protein is a complete protein.


LENTILS :-
Lentils are low on the glycemic index, scoring a 28 on a scale of 100. The glycemic index measures how quickly the body digests carbohydrate-containing foods. Any food that ranks below 55 is considered low-glycemic, or a “slow carb.” Carbohydrates that digest more slowly, like lentils, release glucose into the blood in a steady stream instead of a quick spurt. This keeps the blood sugar levels on an even keel, which means one feels full longer and are less likely to binge on unhealthy foods when trying to lose weight.


EGGS :-

Low in calories :
One hard-boiled egg contains 78 calories, making a good addition to meals if the goal is to lose weight. Also, remember that to lose weight, one must burn more calories than one consumes; therefore, following a diet made up primarily of low-calorie foods, including eggs, is a sensible way to achieve this.

Low in Fat :

With about 5 g of fat each, eggs are appropriate for weight loss, as they make it easy to stay within the recommendations, but don’t forget that fat content increases when eggs are fried or scrambled.


FISH (SALMON):-
Salmon is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Fishes like salmon, contain docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA, and eicosapentaenoic acid, or EPA. Salmon will reduce the amount of triglycerides in the blood and increase the levels of HDL, which are known as “good” cholesterol. HDL works to transport fatty substances out of the body. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids will correct abnormal blood lipid levels, if used in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle.


RICE BRAN OIL :-
Rice Bran oil contains Gamma Oryzanol and this helps reduce the absorption of cholesterol, and is also high in Omega 6 and vitamin E. Studies have determined that foods high in Omega 6 fatty acid actually help reduce excess body fat. They are also beneficial because they help reduce inflammation.


OLIVE OIL :-
Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA), which promote heart health by decreasing “bad” LDL cholesterol without reducing the “good” HDL cholesterol. The invisible healers within this “liquid gold” also work to prevent cancer, inflammation, and may even play a helpful role in diabetes and weight loss. Several other studies indicate that monounsaturated fat enhances the body’s breakdown of stored fat.


NUTS AND OIL SEEDS :-

ALMONDS :-
Almonds are actually low in calories with ten almonds costing one approximately 78 calories. Other than that they’re packed with useful nutrients like Vitamin E, mono-saturated fat (‘good’ fat) and fibre, which is highly satiating and provides bulk to food without adding calories. They are also full of B vitamins and zinc, which helps stop sugar cravings, plus the oleic oil in the nuts cuts hunger very quickly.


WALNUTS :-
Walnuts can form a part of weight management diet as an ounce of walnuts contains 2.5g of omega 3 fats, 4g of protein and 2g of fibre that help provide satiety. Any successful weight management plan must include satiety factor; so walnut is undoubtedly the right food to consider if one is into a weight management program.



OIL SEEDS :-

FLAX SEEDS :-
Flaxseeds is very low in carbohydrates and contains high amount of B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. This helps one feel full and keeps one from being hungry for longer periods of time.



CHIA SEEDS :-
Chia seeds are rich in fiber and antioxidants, as well as essential minerals like calcium and iron. Chia seeds are also thought to help keep your waistline trim, by sucking up 10–12 times their weight, forming a gel in the stomach that can curb the calorie intake by making one feel full longer. They also slow the digestive process that breaks down carbs and converts them to sugar, which means fewer carbs feeding the fat cells around the midsection.



AVACADO :-
Research has shown that monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA’s)are more likely to be used as slow burning energy than stored as body fat.

This slow burning energy and the feeling of satiety or satisfied fullness that one gets from eating an avocado is one of the reasons they are known for reducing hunger and appetite.



APPLE CIDAR VINEGAR :-
Apple cider vinegar helps in control of hunger cravings. 1 to 2 tsp. of apple cider vinegar should be taken with water right before a meal. This helps to reduce appetite because of a fiber compound found in the vinegar called pectin. This substance mixes with the water and expands in the stomach, which causes appetite to be decreased.

1-Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. 2-Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. 3-Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with any good ayurvedic soap containing neem etc.

1) If you are taking meal 2 times a day, you can have the same 4 times in divided doses. 2) Try to avoid gluten containing food like bread, pizza, and burger. 3) Always eat fresh food. 4) No oily & junk food. 5) You can have sprouts, salads, fruits or fruit juice in breakfast rather than bread, toast or artificial protein shake. 6) Don’t eat immediately after exercise or yoga. 7) Stretching exercises 10 minutes. 8) Brisk walk 5 km daily or 25 minutes 9) Yoga- surya namaskar & different yogasana for 25 minutes.

A lipoma is a growth of fat cells in a thin, fibrous capsule usually found just below the skin. Lipomas aren't cancer and don't turn into cancer. They are found most often on the torso, neck, upper thighs, upper arms, and armpits, but they can occur almost anywhere in the body. One or more lipomas may be present at the same time. Lipomas are the most common noncancerous soft tissue growth. The cause of lipomas is not completely understood, but the tendency to develop them is inherited. A minor injury may trigger the growth. Being overweight does not cause lipomas. Lipomas usually are small [0.4 in. (1 cm) to 1.2 in. (3 cm)] and felt just under the skin. Are movable and have a soft, rubbery consistency. Do not cause pain. Remain the same size over years or grow very slowly. Often the most bothersome symptom is the location or increased size that makes the lipoma noticeable by others. Being a homoeopath i will suggest you to go for homoeoapthic treatment if these are increasing on regular basis or are painful.In allopathic system there is only surgical removal but the question is how many surgeries one should undergo as these are multiple in number.So I will recommend you to go for homoeopathic medicine.Consult me with full history of your problem.

Hello. We can't make the grey hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature greying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Lycopodium 200/ once daily, Acid Phos. 200/ once daily and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily – all of them for 1 month. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. daily once for 1 month (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert me back.

Dear you can add bran (wheat, oat) to your ata these things will add more and superb quality of fibre to your chapati. You can also keep variety of ata like bajra chana ragi oats and while kneding add these with normal wheat ata these are very helpful to maintain blood sugar level. Other then chapati brown rice is also a good option to eat its also rich in fibre.

I was suffering from stomach hpelorie bacteria in my stomach. Later found out through stool test. Took antibiotics amoxicillin and one more combined. Later stool test says I was negative but my blood sugar shows borderline. Predibatic.now I lost like 15 pounds and can't decide what to eat and how much to eat. I feel weak sometimes and can't figure out what is healthy for me or can I take protein shake. If yes what protein should I take. please suggest me. Need to put back some weight but avoiding bad carbohydrates and sugar. please suggest. I lost lots of weight and my face is looking like shrunk inn.

In a known case of pre diabetic we need to control sugar levels with aerobic exercise and following a diabetic diet and few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Clarified butter is an excellent source of saturated fat and calories, hence it can increase your body weight. Plus, clarified butter helps your body absorb more vitamins and minerals that help lubricate stiff joints and give your skin a healthy glow. 1. Mix one tablespoon of clarified butter with one tablespoon of sugar. 2. Eat this mixture twice daily, at least 30 minutes before eating your lunch and dinner. 3. Follow this routine for a month.

I am 38 years old unmarried male. I am taking foracort 400 since the last 7-8 years due to asthama. Twice daily. My weight was 52 kgs approx. 3 years ago. But now it is 70 kgs. Is this because of taking foracort 400! please advise.
