Causes of dandruff the following are factors that may contribute to dandruff: 1) not enough hair brushing you should apply oil on scalp regularly and wash hair with the help of anti-dandruff shampoo for proper management. People who do not comb or brush their hair regularly have a slightly higher risk of having dandruff - this is because they are not aiding the shedding of skin that combing or brushing provides. 2) yeast people who are sensitive to yeast have a slightly higher risk of having dandruff, so it is logical to assume that yeast may play a part. Yeast-sensitive people who get dandruff often find that it gets better during the warmer months and worse during the winter. Uva light from the sun counteracts the yeast. Some say, that during winter the skin is drier because of cold air and overheated rooms (exposure to extreme temperatures), making dandruff more likely. So, it is sometimes not that easy to know whether it is yeast or just dry skin. Dandruff people with dry skin tend to get dandruff more often. Winter cold air, combined with overheated rooms is a common cause of itchy, flaking skin. 3) dry skin people with dry skin tend to get dandruff more often. Winter cold air, combined with overheated rooms is a common cause of itchy, flaking skin. People with dandruff caused by dry skin tend to have small flakes of dandruff; the flakes are not oily. 4) seborrheic dermatitis (irritated, oily skin) people with seborrheic dermatitis are very prone to dandruff. Seborrheic dermatitis affects many areas of the skin, including the backs of the ears, the breastbone, eyebrows, and the sides of the nose, not just the scalp. The patient will have red, greasy skin covered with flaky white or yellow scales. 5) not enough shampooing some people say that if you don't shampoo enough there can be a buildup of oil and dead skin cells, causing dandruff. However, many experts doubt this is true. 6) certain skin conditions people with psoriasis, eczema and some other skin disorders tend to get dandruff much more frequently than other people. 7) some illnesses adults with parkinson's disease and some other neurological illnesses are more prone to having dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. Patients recovering from heart attacks and strokes and some people with weak immune systems may have dandruff more often than other people. 8) reaction to hair or skin care products some people react to some hair care products with a red, itchy, scaling scalp. Many experts say that shampooing too often may cause dandruff as it can irritate the scalp. 9) malassezia malassezia is a fungus that lives on everybody's scalp. Generally, it will cause no problems at all. However, it can grow out of control. It feeds on the oils our hair follicles secrete. When this happens, the scalp can become irritated and produce extra skin cells. These extra skin cells die and falloff; they mix with the oil from the hair and scalp, and turn into what we see as dandruff. 10) diet some experts say that people who do not consume enough foods that contain zinc, b vitamins, and some types of fats are more prone to dandruff. 11) mental stress experts believe there may be a link between stress and many skin problems.

What are the reason for dark circle around eye.

BHMS
Homeopath,
What are the reason for dark circle around eye.
Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Use sunglasses regularly when you are in the sun and not to forget to apply a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen liberally, 20-30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and apply the same again after 3-4 hours if you have exposure to sunlight for long hours. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Cina 1M/ one dose daily at night for 10 days. Schwabe's Alfalafa Tonic/ 1 tsp thrice a day daily for 20 days and revert me back about the condition. Apply Bakson's Under Eye Cream twice daily (in morning and at night) and Medicynth's Whitch Hazel cream and Bakson's Under Eye cream twice - in morning and at night daily.

Check you are diabetic or not, and wear somewhat very loose underwear everyday. If it hard and small cyst with a small pinhole then it is mollasum contagiousum and rest of the other kind we need a photo or exact diagnosis for the cyst. Check as well whether you have any liver problem because those persons will also have intense itching. If the itching cause is fungus then 60% cause is diabetic because diabetic patient easily prone to fungal disease. 40% cause in not a neat underwear and pant which you are wearing so clean your dress and dry it well under sun then you wear it. Take care.

Hi, I have black spots on my face. Is there any treatment for this?

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
Hi, I have black spots on my face. Is there any treatment for this?
what is the size of black spots? if the are age spots then they are harmless and don't need treatment. For cosmetic reasons, age spots can be lightened with skin-bleaching products or removed using laser. However, preventing age spots by avoiding the sun and using sunscreen may be the easiest way to maintain your skin's youthful appearance. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

Prolonged performance of masturbation brings kinds of weakness. Poor digestion [irregular bowel syndrome], white discharge in urine, too frequent night pollution are few of them further you may estimate cost of doing masturbation when ever you are not fully physically matured.

How do I reduce my strech marks made because of the gym exercise.

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda,
Both men and women are susceptible to stretch marks, particularly on the thighs, hips, arms, buttocks, abdominal area, and lower back. There are several causes of stretch marks, including: genetics: women are more likely to get belly stretch marks if their mother, for instance, had stretch marks after pregnancy. Significant weight gain and loss: your skin stretches as your weight fluctuates, sometimes resulting in stretch marks. Puberty: growth spurts during puberty often result in stretch marks as the skin is unable to keep up with the body's rate of growth. Bodybuilding: rapid development of muscle mass may stretch the skin beyond its limits. Laser stretch mark removal during a laser stretch mark removal procedure, a beam of light removes thin layers of skin around the stretch marks. The excimer laser is uniquely effective for this procedure. Surgical stretch mark removal surgical stretch mark removal is the only effective option for the complete and permanent elimination of stretch marks. Other stretch mark removal treatments cosmetic dermatologists offer a variety of non-surgical alternatives for treating stretch marks. Popular and effective options include chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and blue light therapy. These are good options for patients who want to avoid surgery, home remedies stretch marks can make you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable about your appearance. Fortunately, there are several natural ways to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. 1. Castor oil castor oil, which is used in the treatment of a number of skin problems such as wrinkles, age spots, moles, dark spots, fine lines and pimples, can also be used to get rid of stretch marks. 1. Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes. 2. Wrap the area with a thin, cotton cloth. Using a hot water bottle or a heating pad, apply some heat to the affected area for at least a half an hour. 3. Repeat this process daily for a minimum of one month to notice positive results. 2. Aloe vera aloe vera is effective in the treatment of many skin problems. Its healing and soothing properties can be used to get rid of stretch marks. There are a couple of ways to apply it? you can directly rub aloe vera gel on the affected skin area, leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse the skin with lukewarm water? another option is to make a mixture with one-fourth cup of aloe vera gel, oil from 10 vitamin e capsules and oil from five vitamin a capsules. Rub this mixture onto the skin until fully absorbed. Repeat this process daily. For treatment ask privately.
