What is the right time of drinking water after meal or between meal? If after meal then after how much time.
There is no specific timing. The basic criteria is thirst. So drink when you feel thirsty. Do not drink too much of water at a time. Ideally 8-10 glasses of water is sufficient but if you feel more thirsty then drink accordingly. You can start your day with a glass of water (warm water if needed ). You can also drink a glass of water 1 hour before and after each meal. It's your choice.

I m having migraine nd headache from last 15 days so please prescribe me a good treatment so I can feel good.

Headaches due to migraine is very common these days especially in young adults because of there lifestyle and working environment. Sometimes pain is very severe on one side of the head.  So I would recommend you to avoid stress and anxiety, quiet the mind from distractions. Stay calm positive and do deep breathing exercises, listen some music that would give you some relaxation. If pain is severe then place ice pack over forehead and lie down for some time to relax your mind and give you comfort and stress full life. Massage your head using levander oil or clove oil as it removes toxins from body. You can use mint or clove spray for inhaling in case of headache. If pain is severe you can also apply ginger paste over the painful area. Avoid taking caffeine, alcohol, phenylethylamine (found in chocolate and cheese), tyramine (found in nuts and fermented meats, cheeses, and soy), and aspartame (in many artificially sweetened foods) as sometimes these all exaggerate pain instead use basil leaves tea or ginger tea boiled nicely in water without milk. Regular intake of healthy dietry food rich in proteins and vitamins. Avoid fasting - Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at fixed timings. Make yourself busy by fulfilling your hobby as it will give you freshness and your mind will be diverted from normal life which help in pain reduction. Take min 7 hours of sleep. Make a habit of 20-25 min walking daily along with some meditations. If required then only take pain relieving tablets like naprosyn For more help or instructions please consult. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hello.. Dark circles can be because of low haemoglobin, stress,hereditary,Long hrs on laptop, less sleep etc. Check ur haemoglobin levels. Take Tab absolute woman once a day after food for 3 months. apply depiwhite Eye gel at night time. cosglo gel two times per day for 3 months. take 6-8 hrs sleep,minimize screen tym ,do yoga. include green leafy vegetables,fresh fruits n juices in ur diet. thanx

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In a person with diabetes, particularly if blood glucose is not well controlled, a considerable amount gets filtered in to urine. Hence, due to osmosis more water is drawn in to bladder, increasing the urge to pass urine at midnight or some times more than 2 to 3 occasions. Only remedy for this is to achieve a strict blood glucose control, so that there is no extra glucose secreted in urine. You should maintain FBG < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Thanks.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Stop junk food, fast food, all bakery and bakery products, fried foods completely. Start drinking water at least 3 ltr everyday. Take balanced diet with good amount of protein and fiber mainly. Fiber plays an important role in binding extra fat therefore take plenty of fresh fruits and green vegetables. Start doing crunches, pushup, cycling or yoga to get rid of extra fat from tummy and lower body area.

Hello lybrate-user, I understand your concern because, this kind of extra weight and belly growth at young age is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it may not reduce weight much. Calorie counting is useless. If you want to count, count nutritional value of food in terms of protein, fiber, good fat etc. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works (moves your weight in right direction) then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of individualized nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

Hello, please explain if there is any injury or any associated symptoms with it. Daily exercise will help him to get strength in the hand. Take gelsemium 200 ch, 3 drop once daily. Revert after 7 days with more symptoms.
