My 3 arteries were noticed to be blocked and total 5stents were accordingly provided in two arteries in May 2017. I am taking Clavix AS 75, Tonact 40/20 and olmy 20. Now my BP is normal. Cholesterol 102 HDL 49 LDL 44 Triglyceride 61 VLDL 12.2 Cholesterol/HDL ratio is 2.0. My Question is- 1. Is my medication OK? 2.Should I reduce Tonact 20 to 10? 3.If not what would be the side effects in the long run?

In general every patient who has a significant blockage in the heart or has a history of heart attack should be on at least 4 types of medications 1) antiplatelets which increase the clotting time of blood and decrease chances of future heart attacks and Re-stenosis of the stent. Initially you are kept on two types of antiplatelets and depending upon your disease and your progress your then shifted to single antiplatelet after 6 months or 1 year.  Eg: ecosprin, clopidogrel, Prasugrel, brillianta 2) Statins - are cholesterol lowering medications which are supposed to again prevent future heart attacks.  Eg. Tonact / atorvas 3) ARB / ACE Inhibitors - which help decreasing pressure on the heart and prevents remodeling injuries. Eg. Cardace / telma 4) Beta Blockers - They decrease the heart rate thereby reducing the work load on the heart and decrease BP also.  eg. Atenolol / Betaloc / metolar  usually all post angioplasty patients are kept on at least these 4 types of medications and depending upon the side effects and contraindications of medications are changed and slowly over period of time the dosage of these medications are decreased depending upon the recovery Get back to me with the reports for a detailed consultation.

Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses, etc. And have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial.

My hair is very oily and thin due to which my hair is falling very rapidly what can I do doctor please suggest.
Hibiscus leaves or flowers well, this is the best ayurvedic home remedy for hair loss. Hibiscus flowers and leaves can be very helpful in preventing hair loss and to promote hair growth. Hibiscus flowers are used as an effective cure for split ends and dandruff as well. Heat 12-15 hibiscus flowers in 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Strain the solution and collect the oil. Apply this concoction to the scalp and hairs, leave overnight and wash in the morning. To use the hibiscus leaves, grind them into fine paste and apply the paste to the scalp and hairs. Leave it on for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Rinse off with plenty of water. This controls the hair loss automatically and promotes hair growth. Hibiscus leaves for strong and long hair.

Hi Consult a neurologist for treating sub cortical oedema, which may be due to hematoma, or collection due to infection, which can be diagnosed by MRI or Ct scan and CSF fluid examination through lumbar puncture. Possibly decompression treatment would relieve pressure built up in the brain front parietal region which houses cognition, behavior control center to account for abnormal changes Decompression is possible as per diagnosis, medications or and draining if necessary, a neurophyscian or neurologist surgeon shall do that best wishes.

I have been fever for two days. I got medicine but its no effect on me. Please suggests me a few medicine.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
I have been fever for two days. I got medicine but its no effect on me. Please suggests me a few medicine.
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever. -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

I want glowing face. Please give me some suggestions what should I do for getting a glowing skin.

I want glowing face. Please give me some suggestions what should I do for getting a glowing skin.
From the kind of medications you have mentioned, you seem to be having active acne. It is better to aim for a glowing face after the acne have reduced. Mean while you can drink atleast 3 ltrs of water daily and eat vit" c" rich fruits such as oranges, sweet lime, guava and pomegranate. As vit" c" is known to lighten and brighten your skin. After your pimples have reduced, you can go for chemical peel treatment to a nearby medical cosmetologist/ dermatologist.

Hello. Apply hair colour 1 mm away from scalp on the hair to avoid hairfall because of hair colour. Start hair vitamin tab kerablak after breakfast and tab keraglo after dinner for 3 to 6 months to prevent further greying. Have more proteins in diet. Avoid stress. Get investigations like hb, tsh, vit b12 and d3 done. Apply altris gel or melitane gel on scalp daily evening for 6 months. It may stimulate hair root pigment cells to reduce greying.
