Hi, When I measure my heart rate during resting it shows 88 whereas normal level is up to 76. Should I need to worry?

Hi, When I measure my heart rate during resting it shows 88 whereas normal level is up to 76. Should I need to worry?
A resting heart rate is normal between 60-100 beats per minute. A resting heart rate is fast (i.e. Tachycardia) at greater than 100 beats per minute needs to be worried about. So don't panic. Just follow healthy lifestyle, eat nutritious food, avoid spicy and junk food, avoid alcohol and smoking, do regular exercise, be hydrated, have proper sleep, be stress free. For more queries, contact us.

Hello, your BP is higher then normal but there is no need take any medicine if you don't have any symptoms regarding this .This is manageable with few life style changes like Drink plenty of liquids and cut down your fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Revert after 15 days with feedback. ***keep a regular watch on your BP.***

Is there is relation between Blood pressure and Pulse rate? Is high pulse rate is an indication of rising Blood pressure? Suppose my PR is 65-70 ps, if it goes to 95-90 ps, should I think that my BP has risen?

Pulse rate & blood pressure are independent. If the pulse increase, it does not mean that your blood pressure increased. Blood pressure is the pressure of blood on vessels wall & pulse is the number of times the heart beats.
