Hi, please do not disappoint from fat. You have to work hard to lose fat. Start doing morning and evening walk. Include more and more fiber in your diet.

Dear, shampoos and oils do not make much change because, they hardly penetrate layers of skin, where roots (live part of hair) are present. Instead concentrate on food, if all other factors are fine. -protein rich diet, dry fruits-almonds, dates.

Hi, thanks for the query. When it comes to weight/ fat loss it's all about being sensible with food. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Dear lybrate user, Lifting of weight may be the cause of stomach problem. Take rest. For acidity you should take less carbohydrates spice, oily food. Take half glass of milk and half glass if water. Add green cardamom powder 1/4 tsp in it and drink it empty stomach. Daily for three days.

Alzheimer's disease occurs in old age due to cerebral atrophy. It causes dementia (forgetful ness, failure to recognize objects, disorientation. To improve your memory follow the advice given below 1. Take balanced diet with proper combination of carbohydrate, protein and fat. Avoid diet high in saturated fats like red meat, whole milk, butter, cheese, cream, ice cream etc which hampers memory and concentration. Take complex carbohydrates like whole wheat bread, brown rice, oat meal, high fiber cereals, lentils, whole beans etc. Avoid processed foods like pasta, potato etc 2. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables and fruits and drink green tea since they contain anti oxidants which enhance memory 3. Go for regular physical exercise like brisk walking, jogging, cycling etc for 30-45 minutes daily 4. Take some mental exercise like doing cross word puzzle, problem solving exercise, playing chess etc 5. Develop some new hobby and skill like learning music, dancing, playing new game etc 6. Take adequate rest. 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 7. Avoid alcoholic beverages, caffeinated drink, smoking and consumption of tobacco etc. 8. Develop healthy relationship with friends, relatives, family members for good emotional health 9. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation, severe physical and mental exertion 10. Paleo diet is one of those diets which have been gaining widespread popularity in the recent times. It has been touted by its supporters as the natural diet for human beings and also the diet that our ancestors used to consume. There is a lot of debate on its efficacy and it has its own set of advantages and disadvantages alike.

What exactly is a paleo diet?

The Paleo diet gets its name from the Paleolithic period of human civilization, thousands of years ago, where the availability and choices of food were varied and limited according to seasons. Most foods included lean meat, fruits, nuts, vegetables and were very different from the fast food, high sugar and saturated fat-based diet that humans are having now. This diet aims to go back to the basics to correct nutritional deficiencies as well as to try out to correct excesses of the modern diet.

Advantages of Paleo diet

  • Huge decrease in consumption of processed sugar
  • Normalization of blood pressure levels
  • Decreases in the level of bad cholesterol in the blood
  • Balance of protein intake due to limited and lean meat consumption
  • Increase in the consumption of vegetables and natural foods with less processed chemicals
  • Optimization of insulin within the body

Disadvantages of Paleo diet

  • Far too restrictive - Many believe that although it is a good diet, it loses out on the balance and becomes too restrictive with certain food groups being cut out completely, which may cause imbalances.
  • Excess of protein - Although Paleo diet cuts down on unhealthy fats, some of its ingredients may cause the consumption of too much protein which may not be good for health either.
  • Lacks of carbohydrates - Some believe that Paleo diet lacks carbohydrates and may not be a good source of energy. When working throughout the day, carbs provide energy but a low carb diet may cause energy-related problems.

I am losing my hair for last 2 years .I have dandruff. The skin of the head is visible. The density of the hair gets reduced. I suggest doctor he gave medicines candid tv lotion and candid shampoo, then dandruff is cured. And also he gave unicare hair oil and vitamin E capsule (evion) for hair growth, but no hair attain hair regrowth .so again I consulted a new doctor on 7.6.16 ,he gave BTN ultra tabs and minoxidil-5 solution and gain shampoo for hair regrowth .is this enough for hair regrowth and whether it is best ,safe medicines or not? And what are all the things (eg. Nuts,pulse, fruits,vegetables) I want to take daily for effective hair regrowth? And I daily intake green tea. Is it helpful for hair regrowth or not?

Hi effective method to treat dandruff would be to combine 2 tablespoons of fresh apple juice with 2 tablespoons of warm water. Dab this on the hair and keep it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. Do this for once or twice a week to cure dandruff. Apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp once in a week.

You can do muscle lifting exercise along with proper diet. Eat extra amount of food. Eat food 5-6 times and don't skip meals. Eat more dense fruits and vegetables, whole wheat, whole grain, brown rice, brown bread. Take calorie rich foods like cake, pastries, chocolate, ice cream, butter, cheese, ghee, olive oil, avocado, refined vegetable oil, coconut oil, almond, walnut, seeds in excess amount. Take more protein rich foods. Avoid fast foods, smoking, alcohol. Drink plenty of water. And quality sleep.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take .For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.
