hello lybrate user, there are various causes of acne like hormonal imbalance, exposure to dust, pollution,  hereditary, lack of enough sleep, stress, unhealthy food habits etc..; dust clogs the tiny openings of sweat gland or oil gland which ultimately results into acne and blackheads. always wash your face with gentle facewash after exposure to dust, pollution. drink plenty of water, 7-8 glass per day to remove toxins from body and maintain hydration. have healthy diet, add more fruits and green veggies in diet.avoid stress, avoid alcohol, junk food. try homeopathy for acne. It is safe, natural, and holistic way of treatment.homeopathic medicine is selected on the basis of thorough details of patient, like medical history, causes, routine, temperament etc..; such well selected medicine gives complete relief and cure, without any side effects. What is nail psoriasis?

What is nail psoriasis?

What is nail psoriasis?

Nail psoriasis is a skin condition which directly affects the nails on your fingers and your toes. This disease results in changes in the overall look and appearance of the nails. The condition usually involves a change in the shape, size, color and texture of your nails and the nails also, might feel tender and hurt.

Symptoms

The most common signs to identify a nail psoriasis condition are enlisted below.

  • Color- The nail color may turn into yellow, green or brown. You may also have red or white spots beneath the nail on the skin
  • Debris buildup- This refers to a potentially painful condition which involves accumulation of a white, powdery material beneath and on the sides of nails
  • Separation- This means that the nail is uprooted from the skin bed on your fingers and toes. This leads to immense pain and discomfort and it might also obstruct with your day to day activities.
  • Thickening- Thickening of the nail happens when there is a fungal infection along with a nail psoriasis condition. This leads to the brittleness and breaking of the nails.

Prevention

Some of the common measures to avoid a nail psoriasis condition are as follows.

  • Keep your nails short, well-trimmed and shaped
  • Wear shoes that are easy on the toes
  • Keep the nail edges smooth using nail filer
  • Moisturize your nails well on a daily basis
  • Wear gloves while doing activities like cleaning or washing

Treatment

The most common treatment for nail psoriasis is phototherapy, which involves the use ultraviolet light rays to address the condition. The therapy usually takes place in a doctor's clinic or a hospital. Additionally, some of the systematic medications used to treat the condition are methotrexate, acitretin and cyclosporine.

First, apply heat to your eyes by rubbing your palms together and then placing them over your eyes. Hold your hands over your eyes for five to 10 seconds, and then repeat. Do this before performing any eye exercises in order to prepare your eyes! Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables will seriously help improve your eyesight and keep it from deteriorating. It is also important to eat the right vitamins to support eye health. Vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin A, C, and E, are all important to eye health. Anti-oxidants (remember eating carrots for your eyes?) are also a great source of nutrients for healthy eyes. Our Rebuild Your Vision Program actually recommends 17 different vitamins you should take to support your eyesight Supporting your eye health is just one of the many benefits of getting enough sleep and taking breaks during the work day. If you work on a computer all day, your eyes are probably under a lot of strain. Do yourself (and your eyes) a favor by taking a break for about 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent in front of the screen. Simply close your eyes for a minute or get up and walk around the office. Focus on something that isn’t a screen. You can also rest your eyes by following the 10-10-10 rule. This means you should look at something 10 feet away for 10 seconds for every 10 minutes you spend working on the computer! One of the fastest ways to improve your vision naturally is to perform daily eye exercises. Eye exercises are meant to strengthen the eyes and improve vision. Using eye exercises can even eliminate your need for contacts or glasses. Get a regular schedule of eye exercises and try to do them daily – this will help you get in the habit of performing exercises and also help you achieve better vision fast Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Rolling is one of the easiest eye exercises! Without straining your eyes (remember to stop if it hurts), look up as far as you can. Then, look down. Repeat this 10 times. Now look to each side, repeating 10 times. After that, look in each diagonal direction. Finally, roll your eyes in a counter-clockwise motion about 10 times, then reverse the movement and roll them clockwise. Grab a pen and hold it at arm’s length, making sure the pen is at eye level. Focus on the tip of the pen as you move it closer to your eyes. Stop when you get about six inches away from your face, and focus on the tip as you move it back to arm’s length. Remember to do this slowly and focus on the tip of the pen. Repeat about 10 times. Massage your eyes after exercising. First, massage your temples with your fingertips or one of your knuckles. Move in a clockwise motion several times, and then switch to a counter-clockwise motion. Massage over your eyebrows and under your eyes as well. When you’re done exercising and massaging, apply heat to your eyes once more by rubbing your palms together. If your eyes are really tired, close them and rest for a few moments. Resting your eyes frequently, as described in the previous section, is very important to preserving the health of your eyes!

My hair is falling from one year and I have taken medicine bt it is not working please tell me what I do to.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
My hair is falling from one year and I have taken medicine bt it is not working please tell me what I do to.
Like any other part of the body or component of health, hair needs a variety of nutrients to grow and be healthy,Here, the nutrients you need for a full head of hair—and the foods that pack them: Omega-3 Fatty Acids Good for more than your brain, omega-3 fatty acids nourish your whole body. The essential nutrient reaches both the hair shaft and the cell membranes in your scalp, nourishing the follicles and promoting healthy hair growth, Plus, they add elasticity to your hair, preventing it from breaking off and ending up in your shower drain. But get this—the body can't produce omega 3-fatty acids on its own; whatever you eat is what your body gets. So dig in! The foods to eat: Flaxseeds, walnuts, salmon, tuna, kale, Brussels sprouts, rapeseed oil. Zinc Boosting tissue growth and repair, zinc helps keep your scalp and hair stay healthy. It also regulates hormones (testosterone included) in the body and helps maintain production of oil-secreting glands on the scalp that help your hair grow. There's no need to go overboard, though. High levels of testosterone are actually linked to hair loss, 11 mg a day is all you need. While it's not proven your body will go on a T rampage if you consume too much zinc, there's no need to tempt hair follicle fate. The foods to eat: Chickpeas, wheat germ, oysters, beef, veal liver, roast beef. Protein Your hair is pretty much pure protein. So if you don't eat enough for both your muscles and hair, you'll have bulging biceps—but a bald head. And even if you do hang onto your hair, eating too little protein can turn it gray. Eat a diet rich in high-quality, naturally occurring protein. Wait, you're a veg or a vegan? No worries. As any good meatless eater knows, protein abounds in more than just animal sources. The foods to eat: Greek yogurt, egg yolks, kale, peanuts, beans, peas, lentils, tofu, chicken, turkey. Iron When it comes to healthy circulation, eating enough iron is clutch. Iron helps deliver blood to the body's cells. Neglect the nutrient and your blood can't carry enough oxygen to your scalp for good hair growth. Many doctors have seen a correlation between treatment for iron-deficient anemia and an increase in hair growth. The foods to eat: Dark leafy greens, whole grains, beans, red meat, turkey, egg yolks, clams, mussels, oysters. Vitamins A and C Both vitamins contribute to the production of sebum, the oily substance that your hair follicles spit out. Nature's hair conditioner, it keeps your hair from breaking off. Plus, vitamin C increases the amount of blood-boosting iron that your body can put to use. While some vitamin A is good for your scalp, more than 15,000 IU a day can actually spur hair loss The recommended daily allowance of the vitamin for men is 5,000 IU a day. The foods to eat: Swiss chard, spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, pumpkin. Magnesium Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions—hair growth included. Magnesium deficiencies have been linked to hair loss in both men and women. The foods to eat: Almonds, spinach, cashews, lentils, brown rice, halibut. Selenium A trace element that helps the body make selenoproteins, which regulate reproduction, metabolism, DNA synthesis, and immunity, selenium also stimulates hair follicles to encourage new growth. Scrimp on selenium and your body will churn out way too much selenoproteins, leading to hair follicle abnormalities, reduced growth, and hair loss. Castor oil: • helps with hair regrowth and hair loss, • makes the hair richer and darker, • prevents split ends, • treats dandruff and dry scalp, • moisturizes the hair and makes it shine, • works in an antifungal and antibacterial way and can prevent problems such as ringworm, and folliculitis. How to apply castor oil It’s best to use castor oil as a hair mask. This is particularly helpful if you’re trying to regrow hair or give it more moist and shine. 1. Castor oil has a thick consistency, so you can mix it with coconut oil, olive oil or jojoba oil in a half and half ratio. This will make the mask easier to distribute throughout your hair. 2. Use your fingers or a brush and start applying it onto your scalp with circular motions. This gentle massage increases the blood circulation, rejuvenates the hair, and stimulates hair growth. 3. Part hair into sections and apply the oil (mixture) to each section until all your hair is covered properly and evenly. 4. Wrap your hair in a warm towel (you can also use a shower cap) and leave it for two to eight hours. You can also leave it over night. This will give the oil enough time to penetrate the follicles and hydrate your scalp and hair thoroughly. 5. Wash your hair as usual using shampoo and conditioner. Make sure you rinse all the oil out of your hair. How often should you use castor oil? This depends on your objective and type of hair. If your aim is to treat hair loss, you will need to do it at least twice weekly, but even better if you can do it three or four times per week for several weeks. For split ends and increased shine, you can use the oil as a conditioner once weekly. Be careful not to use too much of it (a pea-sized amount should do) or you can end up with an over-oily scalp. For best results use unrefined castor oil, as it contains more nutrients and healing properties.

You may be suffering from androgenic alopecia which is also called as pattern baldness. The hairs start reducing in density at the crown (top) and also the hairline starts refeeding from the front. This is usually progressive throughout life unless treated. This is usually accompanied by severe dandruff which we call seborrhoea. The FDA approved treatment for this condition is a lotion and tablets. There is no other alternative. No oil or cream will magically work because the hairs are getting miniaturised and eventually disappearing due to the hormonal effects on the hair roots. Please call me or contact me with photos using online consult option for proper examination and treatment. Do not start treatment without consulting. I can give guidance and then you can continue treatment on your own.

How to get rid of Black heads and black spots on Face. And How to get rid of highly Irritating dandruff.
Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Lemon Juice A quick and easy solution is lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. 1. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 2. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 3. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above. 2. Buttermilk Buttermilk is also beneficial in getting rid of dark spots. Like lemon juice, it also helps fade blemishes and black spots but without causing burning sensation. 1. Take four teaspoons of buttermilk. 2. Add two teaspoons of fresh tomato juice. 3. Mix the two ingredients (both have excellent bleaching properties) and then apply. 4. Wash it off after 15 minutes. Hello,White patches on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. In the mean time you can take cal phos 6x, 4 tabs twice daily.
