1. It could be a tension headache due to anxiety/stress, depression inadequate sleep, low bp/high bp, migraine, prolonged use of cell phone/computer, chronic anaemia, refractive error, chronic sinusitis, organic brain lesion 2. Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8. If it is migraine you have to take migraine prophylactic drug after consulting neurologist.

Hello You need to understand the concept of weight loss. It requires cut down in calories under the guidance of a dietitian and regular exercise for 5 days a week. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks and processed foods. Include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits and vegetables, salad vegetables like cucumber, kakri, tomato, onion etc. Take green tea 4-5 times a day. Drink plenty of water. Take flaxseed powder 1 tsp with lukewarm water on empty stomach. Thank you

Hi your scoliosis is called degenerative scoliosis. Which can cause back pain because of wear and tear. Only thing anyone can do is mainly to control pain, but can not be treated completely. With you r other heart problems - you can still try some swimming if possible. Regarding the medication - you should try pregabalin + methylcobalamin will help regarding the pains. Furthur assessment by mri scans and clinically too.

Get your blood checked for cbc, mp , widal , sgpt and urine r/m and revert back to us with reports and can take tablet paracetamol and Eat nutritious food and have adequate fluid intake and take physical rest

Hello, You have issues with your knees and lower back. Kindly tell me whether your pains are actually localized type of pains or radiating from lower back region? Also apart from pan, is there any s/s like numbness in legs, weakness in legs or paresthesias like electric shock like sensations etc ? Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a da.

Hi back pain usually occurs due to prolonged sitting in a bad posture hence the pressure on the back increases and you get back pain as your muscle don't support any undue pressure so for this now you can start with a hot packs for ten minutes twice a day and also start strengthening your core muscles.

Take chandraprabha vati 1-1 tab twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Avoid alcohol consumption. Smoking and non vegetarian. Drink lots of juices and plenty of water. Eat green vegetables and salads. Do pranayama early in the morning. Sleep for atleast 7 hours.

Dear lybrate-user, commonest cause of foot pain is faulty foot wear. So if you have foot pain may be we need to find out what is wrong with your foot wear. You also need a diagnosis so that needs detailed evaluation and imaging to come to a diagnosis. Meanwhile you can wriggle your toes and move them often in office when you are just sitting after removing your shoes.

Shoulder pain is common in cricket due to the repeated action of throwing the ball. In most cases shoulder pain is caused by rotator cuff tendonitis, which occurs when the tendons surrounding the rotator cuff become swollen. This injury is usually due to overuse. The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles which serves to protect the shoulder joint. Treatment will usually involve resting the affected shoulder and taking medication to reduce swelling and minimise pain. In cases where symptoms are persistent, surgery may be carried out to prevent injury in the future. The shoulder should be rested until it has started to heal; gentle exercises and physiotherapy will help to gradually build strength around the joint and increase flexibility and movement. It is important to allow sufficient rest periods between demanding sessions of physical activity. Exercises and stretches will help to increase flexibility and strength; this will help to prevent injuries in the future. Please consult orthopedic doctor or physiotherapist in person for detail assessment and management of your shoulder pain.
