My hairs are falling so much and getting thinner day by day. They are too oily that I need to wash them daily. Earlier they were very thick bouncy n lengthy too. Please help me out to get the same hairs back.

Hair loss happens due to various reasons and shampoos and oil alone will never be able to stop your hair loss. There could be some nutritional deficiency or hereditary factor or some medical problem if it has persisted for mor than three months. I would like to advise you to have a balanced meal with enough proteins and have two cups of green tea daily. Also have walnuts, almonds and flaxseeds regularly. Start a multivitamin supplement and exercise atleast four times a week to improve blood circulation to the scalp. If your hair loss does not reduce in two months after doing this you may need further investigation. An early treatment is the key to successful results in hair loss cases as the damage to hair follicles can be prevented with the right treatment.

Hello lybrate-user drink plenty of water avoid the following: junk food/fast food milk products chocolates ice cream avoid picking or squeezing your pimples, they'll leave behind pigmentation and scaring. For pimples here is your treatment plan clindapene gel night time only benzac gel 2.5% morning only tab. Doxy 100mg twice daily after food tab. Rantac 150mg twice daily before food use acnoff soap / acnil soap to wash your face before applying the gels both the gels have to be applied over full face. All medicines for minimum 1 month after the pimples subside (for acne marks) kindly use 1. Ahaglow face wash twice daily 2. Kojivit cream twice daily after using the face wash over those darker areas @night only 3. Photostable lotion full face in the morning after washing with face wash. Take care.

How to apply minoxidil 5%. Two times on bald places. I have to massage that place with minoxidil or just have to spread.

I am 39 years old woman. In my urine test done twice in the past one year, there is a slight trace of blood in urine, around 2 to 3/hpf. Is it normal.

It may be due to menstruation. So get a urine test done only after one week of menstruation. Otherwise this is quit normal. 2 to 3 RBC s are not significant.

1) If you are taking meal 2 times a day, you can have the same 4 times in divided doses. 2) Try to avoid gluten containing food like bread, pizza, and burger. 3) Always eat fresh food. 4) No oily & junk food. 5) You can have sprouts, salads, fruits or fruit juice in breakfast rather than bread, toast or artificial protein shake. 6) Don’t eat immediately after exercise or yoga. 7) Stretching exercises 10 minutes. 8) Brisk walk 5 km daily or 25 minutes 9) Yoga- surya namaskar & different yogasana for 25 minutes. If ghee is homemade then it's fine just need daily exercise it will not increase lipids.

To increase weight eat meals at frequent intervals. Avoid junk food. Include good quality protein sources in your every meal help yourself with more of nuts & dairy products. Include high calorie food items in between your main meals such as dark chocolates, cakes, sweetened beverages such as cold coffee, shakes.

Hello, you may opt for progesterones for 5 days anyhow and then menses shall start in next 7 days, so I guess with your time frame, not possible. You can however delay your menses.

Your hair needs a high protein well-rounded diet. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hair and nails are both protein fibers. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. 1. Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2. Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Massage scalp with this oil. 3. Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4. Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5. Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soyabean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6. Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Causes and Symptoms of Muscle Contusion

Muscle contusion is a condition that is characterized by bruising in the muscles. It generally tends to occur in athletes who play a lot of contact sports. Repetitive blows in any part of the body may cause damage to the underlying muscle tissues. These blows may lead to internal bleeding, resulting in blood clot formation. The most common site where it occurs are the quadriceps.

The various causes of this condition are:

  1. Direct repetitive blows to a part of the muscle in contact sports such as football
  2. If you fall on a hard surface 
  3. It may also occur if the muscle comes in contact real hard with sports equipment like soccer balls

The symptoms of a muscle contusion are:

  1. You may experience swelling of the muscle
  2. Excessive pain
  3. Decrease in range of motion in the concerned body part
  4. It may lead to leaking of blood vessels
  5. You may also experience hematoma where a lump is formed over the affected spot
  6. Symptoms of broken bones, dislocations and fractures may also occur

Complications: This disorder may also lead to various complications such as compartment syndrome, which leads to compression of blood vessels resulting in pain. 

Treatment: The basic treatment for this condition is the RICE protocol which is rest, ice, compression and elevation. You should rest the muscle, then apply ice to the affected area to reduce the pain. You can also take NSAIDs (non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) to reduce the pain. In severe cases, the doctor may drain the lump surgically.

It is advisable to not return to your normal sports routine in order to allow the muscle to recover. If you carry on with your regular routine, it may result in further complications like the formation of scar tissue. You may undergo various stretching exercises to relieve the pain and make a gradual return to your normal sporting activities.
