Rule out regarding neurological problem. Suggested to apply chandanbalalakshadi tailm 30 sppons daaily to whole body and do gentel massage befor bath daily for 1 month then consult further.

What should we do in neck pain?

Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, please inform.

Advice do hot fermentation for instant pain relief. Continue it for 2 days then start doing spinal extension exercises and back strengthening exercises thrice a day for a week avoid repeated bending activities take rest and do not exert the movements consult a physiotherapist for detailed evaluation and better treatment for your back pain take care.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Look if there is any morning stiffness , your pain increase or decrease by doing some movments or not , is there any swelling or not? You can do some physiotherapy exercises to get relive pain like pressing the towle roll placing it below you knee and few more but you need to do it carefully and correctly.

Hello all. I have severe pain in my right ankle and calf muscles, to be precise the muscle right above the ankle and the muscle to right under the knee. My arches of both legs are collapsed a bit. The right leg has more collapsed arch. Even a little pain in knee, hip and back. A cracking sound of bones is usually heard from my feet and knee, even in right hip at times. Sudden pain in some nerve in my back. From past four days I couldn't walk or sleep properly. As I started to put little force on right leg and walk has made my other leg to experience the same kind of pain. I even had bunions. Is this a kind of flatfeet or overpronation. Or is this a neurological problem. Can it be cured?

Yes it can be a flat feet. That's why you. Are getting multiple joints pain of your lower leg. As you said arch is completely collapsed so weight bearing of the body is disturbed. You can get your EMG NCV done to see which all muscles are weak and then take a good Neuro opinion and do regular. Supervised ex's for your lower limb muscle. Nowadays you get custom made shoes with arches or you can get it done with prosthesis. People which will support your muscles as well as help in proper weight distribution. All the. Best.

Neck message will give good results. Use little good oil or plain water and massage from either side on the mid shoulder blade. Use your thumbs and move it slowly upwards on the back of neck up to the lower level of ear. Repeat 5 to 10 times. Do not do from top to down. Finally move your neck up and down, sideways left and right. Results are excellent.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.
