You can exercise for healthier gums as well. Gently bite down so as to make sure that your teeth make a clinking sound when they meet. Repeat this 30 to 40 times continously. This exercise will stimulate the flow of blood and will keep your gums healthy.

I have problem in mouth. When I eat, my tooth got pain hardly. And blood flow at morning when I brush.

Dentist, Kolar
Gums bleeding is due to infection in gums. Get scalling done by dentist. Use proper brushing techniques. Brush, floss n use mouthwash twice daily. Massage your gums with your finger tips after brushing. Keep your tongue clean. Rinse your mouth well after each meal. Visit your dentist for dental checkups every 6 months to detect n prevent dental probs. Severe pain on chewing food can b due to decay, deep fracture lines, loose teeth n deep gum pockets. A dentist'll evaluate your teeth n let you knw the cause of your pain n provide you with treatment options accordingly. Take care.

He s complaining every day more salt in food eventhough its, normal. Sometimes he complains about salt taste in tongue. Any suggestions to cure this.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
•A change in taste may result from dehydration, glossitis, a dry mouth, allergies, salivary glands infections, lack of zinc and vitamin B12, and polyps in the nose. •Others include breathing through the mouth, inflamed upper airways, and autoimmune diseases like Sjogren's syndrome and Bell's palsy. •Some injuries and traumas that cause a bitter taste include head, nerve, mouth and nose injuries, and biting your tongue. •Dental appliances such as braces, any surgery on your ear, nose, teeth or throat, and radiation therapy on your neck or head cause a bitter taste in mouth. •Gargle with water. Brush your teeth, tongue, roof of your mouth, and gums using toothpaste. Rinse your mouth with mouthwash. Drink liquids, chew sugar-free gum or mints, or suck on sour candies. Use plastic utensils if you have taste alteration when eating.

When should I drink the warm lemon water in the morning? Before the brush or after the brush? please say me about the time gap to be taken for breakfast.

General Physician, Delhi
Drink the juice of one lemon in one cup of warm water first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach. Make sure to wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast, as this will ensure your body gets the most energy and nutrients from the food you eat. Use fresh lemons (preferably organic and locally grown) and mineral rich filtered water.

Tongue cleaning is as important as brushing and flossing. Use of a proper tongue scraper every morning will remove tongue plaque and freshen your breath.

My rgtside molar teeth are aching very badly and I found that there is a wisdom teeth (angular) is drilling my next teeth to set his place. I was using a my dentist prescribed tablets as of now. And my dentist is suggesting me to remove the wisdom teeth, next to wisdom teeth and upper teeth. Is that really needed I feel that It will pain will automatically reduce once the teeth angle is fixed. Need all your suggestions doctor.

Dentist, Ahmedabad
wisdom tooth If the wisdom tooth has erupted fully and in a proper position then we can save it by dental cement filling. If the cavity is deep and near or into the pulp then we can save it by root canal treatment. Ideally we should save natural tooth structure if its fits in above criterias. If the wisdom teeth has erupted in a such way that it's disturbing other tooth structures and we don't have any option left for saving it then only you should go for removal. The wisdom tooth usually causes pain because of its uneven position distrubing adjacent teeth and some times swelling of the tissues around the tooth causing pericoronitis ( i.e inflamation of the surrounding soft tissues ) causing pain. Wisdom tooth which is usually considered as an extra tooth having no role in mastication (i.e chewing of food) On other hand removal of wisdom tooth have much advantages rather than any disadvantage.. Retaining wisdom tooth some times results in food lodgement within and between adjacent tooth ,results in caries ( decay ) of the adjacent tooth. So for improper erupted wisdom tooth, removal is the only and best available option to the date. Which in turn also helps in preserving other tooth structures. Jay Swaminarayan.

Does drilling n filling the whole procedure of cavities filling affect the jaw and its placement or positioning in any way?

Dentist, Mumbai
a filling is done in the tooth when there is a damage to the tooth by means of caries (decay) or physical damage. Drilling is done to remove the decayed portion of your tooth and a filling is done to restore the same. The entire procedure should not affect your jaw placement or positioning in any way.

I do not have genuine smile with teeth I have round circle face I have deep bite. I want "V" Shape face with good smile my friends smile are cute and me look hairfall at pics I can not even smile properly it looks weird and ugly with that round face so I need "V" Shape face cut my question is can I use braces for this though my some teeth are ups and down Can I use for that purpose also.

Hi, First of all every person has his or her own personality. So instead of trying to be like others cherrish your own. U might never know that the others would be wanting to be like u. Now, coming to your ques about your malalligned teeth. Yes you can get the treated through an orthotreatment where your doctor would corrwct the relation between your teeth. U woul deffinately find a change within your face profice after some time bt it would take some. At last as per your "v" shape face requirement you might have to undergo orthogonathic surgery or some cosmetic surgery abt whic you can be told abt only when you visit a dwntist who woukd take various radioghraphs of your profile and then plan the treatment accordi g to your needs. My last advice to you would be jst to go for the ortho treatment and then if you r not satisffied with the results then go for your "v" shape face wish. Regards.
