I am 47 years old and I am suffering from acidity problem since last 3-4 yrs. If I fell pain in any part of the body n if I press there air is released through mouth. I also often get gases. I hv to go to toilet twice a day. My MC periods hv been stopped since last 7 yrs. please help me getting rid of this.

Your problems are not related to the menses stopping (menopause) but it is related to" what you eat" perhaps your digestion system has been affected. You must seek an advice from a gastroenterologist or a gen surgeon who can help you. Acidity occurs due to excess gastric acid. Either it can be secreted more due to hurry, stress, worry and spicy food intake or it can be due to erratic food habits which prevent neutralisation of the acid produced. E prolonged starving between meals, starvation, etc it would be best to space out your meal into 5-6 meals per day, rather than just having lunch and dinner. So eat small amounts every 2 hourly. This will help neutralise the acid produced and prevent a build up avoid excess consumption of tea / coffee.(not more than 2 / day) eat high fiber foods like carrot, radish, beet, cucumber, watermelon, oranges, sweet lime etc. This prevents gas formation and helps smooth motion eat fresh curds (dahi) 1 small bowlful, every day. Drink 2-3 liters of water per day. All this will help you. In addition you must take medicines to reduce acidity as prescribed.

Zinc Deficiency - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Causes:

  • Diet poor in zinc - inadequate intake of zinc rich foods like meat, shell fish, liver gelatin, beans, rice, bread, cereals lentils etc.
  • Strict vegetarians: their main foods are grains and legumes which are high in phytic acid and they hamper the absorption of zinc from the food.
  • Malabsorption syndrome.
  • Chron`s disease / ulcerative colitis.
  • Chronic liver disease.
  • Chronic renal disease.
  • Sickle cell disease.
  • Diabetes.
  • Malignancies.
  • Smoking and high alcohol consumption.
  • Elderly are more prone to deficiency.

Consume foods rich in zinc: zinc is present in wide variety of foods especially along with proteins. Vegetarian diet contains less zinc compared to meat based diet. Best sources of zinc are -

  • Beef, crabmeat, oysters, lamb, pork, turkey, salmon, shellfish, chicken, clams, lobster, milk, yoghurt and cheese cheddar.
  • Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, brown rice, spinach, lentils, beans, lima beans, rye bread, peas and baked potatoes. Meat, eggs and seafood.
  • Other sources of zinc are - green leafy vegetables, sea plants, japanese sea plants, yeast, nuts - cashews, almonds and peanuts, seeds - sesame and pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds are one of the concentrated sources of zinc in vegetarian food.
  • Only 20% of the zinc present in diet is absorbed by our body, dietary fibers and phytic acid present in food inhibits absorption of zinc. Phytic acid and fiber are fond in foods like - bran, whole grain cereals, pulses and nuts.
  • Cooking process can reduce the effects of phytic acid and fibers on the absorption of zinc.
  • Ferment whole grains as enzymatic actions of yeast reduces the levels of phytic acid and thus absorption of zinc is adequate.

Foods To Gain Muscle Mass :

1.Lean Beef

This should be a STAPLE of your diet if you want to gain muscle mass. Why? Because it is loaded with all sorts of things conducive to muscle growth. On average, a three-ounce serving of lean beef is only 154 calories, yet it provides ten essential nutrients, including iron, zinc and B-vitamins. More importantly, it provides your body with high quality protein (not all proteins are equal), and a high level of amino acid that works with insulin to promote muscle growth. For those who are trying to lose weight, this should come as great news – a 3 ounce serving of lean beef provides roughly the same amount of protein as 1.5 cups of beans, but at half the calories.

2. Skinless Chicken

Like beef, it is an excellent source of high quality protein, which is important for muscle maintenance and repair, bone health, and weight maintenance. And of course, there are so many ways you can cook and prepare chicken. Go down to the store and you can easily find chicken meat cut into single serving sizes that can be seasoned and quickly cooked.

3. Cottage Cheese

Not many people know this, but cottage cheese constitutes relatively pure casein protein. For those who don’t know, casein protein is a slow-digesting protein, which means it is perfect for muscle maintenance. This is useful especially for guys who have no choice but to go long periods without eating. Cbc test is done mainly to find out about infections and anemia. Polyhydramnios may be because of high blood sugar so one needs to test for that and take precautions in the diet. Polyhydramnios may increase the complications for baby and mother boy facility for both so you must deliver in a good set up with nursery facility.

4 Benefits of being a vegan

Being a vegan is not a fad diet. It's also a personal philosophical and lifestyle choice. A person may choose to become a vegan because of environmental factors, health factors, and other ethical reasons. What differentiates a vegan from a vegetarian is the fact that a vegan not only doesn't eat meat or other animal products but doesn't use any other animal products or by-products whatsoever, such as dairy products, leather, eggs, honey, wool, silk, fur etc.

Get good nutritious diet, do regular exercise. Take regular calcium and vit d. Take soy proteins in your diet. Get a full body check up including blood investigations, ultrasonography and mammography and clinical checkup by a gynecologist.

Have relations on 12th, 14th and 16th day of menstrual cycle if your cycle is regular. Keep yourself lied down for half an hour after intercourse. Keep a pillow under your back while intercourse. These are the simple measures that can help in conceiving.

If a women’s menstrual cycle varies from 26 days to 31 days cycle, The shortest cycle (26 days) minus18 days=8th day. The longest cycle (31 days) minus 10 days=21st day Thus, 8th to 21st day of each cycle counting from first day of menstrual period is considered as fertile period. That is UNSAFE PERIOD during which you should not have it. Period other than this fertile period in a menstrual cycle is considered as SAFE PERIOD. Best for starters is to use condom correct use and check condom for tear after the use. If torn then ipill to be used immediately.

Hi, Take the medicines as per the guidance of the physician with appropriate anupana advised by them ie. Along with milk or hot water or ghee or cold water or ginger juice or sugar, etc. Etc. Regularity is very important with any system of medicine. One can reap benefits at an earlier date if the medicines are taken promptly and regularly without missing a single dose of the advised duration of the intake of the medicines.

After a Long Journey (9 Months and 8 Days), My Wife birth a Cute Baby Boy. On 01.01. 2016 and Baby's Weight is 7.5 Pounds. . But at the time of Delivery, My Wife's BP is so high. That is 170.
