I am 23 year girl. I am suffering through severe back pain which is on right side. Not in the bone. The pain so severe that I had to take pain killer. I have gone through the mri but the reports are normal. The pain is increasing day by day and has started in my right hand also. Please help

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for spine. Don't sit on floors. Don't do forward bending. Use lumber spine belt also. Take calcium and methylcobalamine supplement with evion capsules.

I have no knowledge of Panchakarma. This is quite a common condition Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way Take CALDIKIND PLUS 1 tab daily for 10days Paracetamol 250mg TDS x 3 days Contact me after that. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. It may have to be further investigated.

dear user, go for xray of lumbar spine to confirm any disc problem. apply heat fermentation twice a day for 4 days if no improvement then take physiotherapy treatment.

Hello Navjot , For pain in legs you can use hot water with 10gms magnesium sulphate in it . He needs to keep his legs in this for at least 30 mins. Regarding cough you haven't mentioned whether it is wet or dry cough. Do verify for proper guidance. Regards, Dr. Heena

Nowadays back pain is a very common complaint in young adults. It can be due to various reasons any injury, muscle strain eg-sudden twist while lifting object, bad posture, overuse of muscle or any internal disease like spondylitis, infection etc. Many of the problem occurs for which we are not aware. At the age of 19 you are suffering from pain for which you are not aware so I would recommend you following: precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Sit in chairs or car seats with proper back support. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back like sidelying. 5. Get enough vit d from sun as vit d keep bones strong including spine, 6. Drink plenty of water to enhance the intervertebral disks 7. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 8. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. Physio care: I would recommend you for i-care treatment that is especially for back or neck pain. Rest required but it doesn't mean a complete bed rest. Do not over exert your body. Work take rest and then work so that you do not feel tired and started paining. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat which ever suits you directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apply it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2. Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Massage - ask someone to massage your painful area using fingers or thumb. Massage using kneading technique. Slightly press the thumb and start rotating as it helps to induce relaxation, relieve pain, and reduce levels of stress chemicals, such as cortisol and noradrenaline. It will give you pain relief for time being. 3. After massage again relax for 5 min and apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. Just a topical application of gel should be done. 4. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. While performing exercises if pain occurs then would recommend you to stop doing exercise. Massage or slightly rub the painful area and consult your near by physio to diagnose the actual cause of the pain as he/she can guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain. I am 40years old, since last one week having pain in heel and ankle, even I am not able to walk. Some times pain also exist in hands and waist (kamar). When I take pain killer then I am able to walk but very slowly. I think my masuls become tense which create pain and swelling. Please suggest some medicine regards somesh.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation.

Your blood sugar is very high and is not controlled with the medicine. You may have to start insulin. Consult physician/diabetologist for advice 1. Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling etc) 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting dietitian 5. Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugar 3 monthly and hba1c six monthly 6. Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment.

Take rest avoid strain full activity and take muscle relaxant medicine and heat fermentation twice a day if it work then ok otherwise take physiotherapy treatment. Precautions are. Avoid long standing, sitting, toward bending, lifting heavyweight. And do spine extension exercise in daily routine.

Day before yesterday my mom just slipped on the floor, from then she's feeling lot of pain on her back bone. When I took her to an orthopedic doctor he asked to take an x-ray and said that one bone were slightly disturbed but will become normal in 2-3 weeks. After that he suggested some medicines after using which my mom facing EVEN MORE PAIN THAN BEFORE. Can you help me on this? Also suggest her a good diet to loose some weight. She's 5.4 feet height with 69.3 kgs of weight.

I'll recomment to do mri for detail examination 1) do light massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. Consult privately to get more help.
