My dad is parkinson patient and recently was in tube feeding and yesterday the tube was removed and he can eat from mouth while eating from mouth he should not cough else the food will go to his lungs to avoid this neurologist suggested us for a speech therapist is there any medicine or execersise to swallow his food without coughing please suggest.

There are no medication which can improve swallowing. Swallowing excercises can help in improving swallow to some extent. If improvement is inadequate, its better to got for peg insertion, in which a minor surgery will be done and feeds can be given directly into stomach.

My age is 20 i`m smoke 7-10 cigarette in day nothing problem in my lungs chest throat and I am start smoking since 3 year so you tell me I am fit what can I do.

You just need to quit smoking because it is harmful even when you smoke one cigarette. Just because you do not have a problem as yet, it does not mean that smoking is alright. You are obviously functioning on a reactive mode i.e. you will stop only when you have a problem. At that time it will become too late and you may have a permanent problem and will be stuck with it for the rest of your life. Be proactive: anyway, if something is not good for you why do it in the first place? Just quit is my best advice​.

Hi Librate user Anger is a normal emotion, but it is important to deal with it in a positive way. When you start feeling angry, take deep breath and talk to yourself "Relax" or "Take it easy" Repeat it to yourself while breathing deeply. Going for a brisk walk is a healthy management of your anger. Try to understand and remind yourself that anger won't solve any problem. Regular exercise is a way to improve your mood and release tension and anger. Thanks.

My brother in law is intoxicated to Alcohol. Recently he met an accident and was very serious and damaged his both limbs but at present he is little bit fine and can do hid own daily routine. You have to meet with a doctor who will prescribe disulfiram and if he takes even cough syrup which has a little alcohol, he can suffer some adverse reactions. So he has to be warned and he has to be sure to take the medicine.

I'm suffering from pms. I delivered a girl 1.5yrs back on a cesarean and my mood swings are dangerous. They make me scream at my kid, beat her, cry for no reason, hate sex. I had painful breasts and I took primrose tablets. My gynaec said it was post partum depression. I'm a working woman and we are a nuclear family. I drop my daughter in my mom's place everyday. Nobody is worth dying for unless you were in the act of saving them. You may give your heart to somebody, even your mind, but never give your life for someone. Learn to accept that she does not want you for some reason or the other. You don?t want a girl who has been coerced into the relationship!It does not mean anyway that you are a bad person, a useless person, or of a questionable character. If you are any of these, then you have reason enough to work on those issues and get to become a better person. In love strange things happen, and strange bedfellows come together defying all reason. So you never know who is going to come around and love you to bits: that is the kind of person you want and need to hook up with. Look at the reasons why this relationship failed, and if there are many reasons pointing at you, learn to change them for yourself. This is an episodal depression i.E. It was stimulated by an event. When you deal with the event, all things will come to square one. Go talk to a counselor and express all your feelings and identify what went wrong and what you can do about it for future relations.

If you feel stress building, take a break. Walk away from the situation. Take a stroll around the block, sit on a park bench, or spend a few minutes meditating. Exercise does wonders for the psyche by releasing endorphins, the 'feel good hormones' But even just finding a quiet place and listening to your iPod can reduce stress.

Cultivate allies at work. Just knowing you have one or more co-workers who are willing to assist you in times of stress will reduce your stress level. Just remember to reciprocate and help them when they are in need

In a relationship both partners need to have mutual respect, communication and understanding of each other. If any of these components are missing, relationship would suffer. Its important to understand each other as individual selves and giving personal space and freedom, otherwise conflicts are likely to arise from both sides. To discuss each other needs and what is it that needs to work upon in a relation is another significant requirement. For this, consult a clinical psychologist or a couple therapist who can understand the problem in detail.

The particular medicine that is an ant-abuse is only prescribed by a psychiatrist. So do visit a doctor who has specialized in alcohol care for your concern. You could also admit yourself either in a rehabilitation center or medical facility where they do detoxification too. The toxins related to alcohol need to be cleansed out of your system to remove the physical craving for the substance. This will make de-addiction therapy more effective and successful. Counseling will be imparted along with the de-addiction but it must continue for a long time after that for total reformation. It has been identified as a disease, with a lot of complications and relapses. It is also mandatory for you to attend AA meetings, as the best support system in the world for alcohol abuse. Ant-abuse has to be monitored by a doctor, and compliance is really important. If you ever consume alcohol while on ant-abuse, you will have severe reactions, sometimes requiring hospitalization.

Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic exercise with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. Recently they have discovered that moderate consumption of red wine and peanuts do help.
