You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Breakups are always very painful and often lead to a negative state of being. one feel rejected and self esteem suffers. This point of time you need to try certain activities. 1. try to accept that this has happened nd gone, pen out feelings nd realease it completely or talk it out with one you trust. 2. try not to sit alone for long. 3. visit new places and try making new memories for yourself. 4. join some health club, this will help you to connect with your own body. 5. join some sports of your interest or a hobby you forgot long back..this bring the self esteem back. 6. get in touch with your friends, this helps you give a broader view of situation. 7. go out with or spend some time with family...it is a shock absorber. 8. lndulge in new learning, a course of your choice. 9. Try to be a little help at home. 10. if still you feel stuck, seek professional help. psychotherapy can help miraculously. take care and stay blessed.

Social anxiety disorder, also called social phobia, is an anxiety disorder in which a person has an excessive and unreasonable fear of social situations. Anxiety (intense nervousness) and self-consciousness arise from a fear of being closely watched, judged, and criticized by others. Symptoms include: Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve. Other than that, try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, moderate exercise, progressive muscular relaxation and guided meditation.

Dear , I can understand. Your daughter could be disappointed due to some unexpected normal life event. With the available symptoms, you may feel your daughter is depressed. But she is not. Disappointment also brings many symptoms identical to depression, but for fewer days. Don't worry. Talk to your daughter and let me know about her current disappointment. Online counseling sessions should be a perfect cure method for her. Take care.

First of all you have to understand one thing that its very crucial time for career to both of you, you should focus on long term objectives rather than focusing on short term objective But on your side you are not wrong every one wants to spend time with their loved ones infact you love him so much that inspite of not meeting him regularly you are able to continue such a beautiful relation this shows the deepness of your love because now a days with decreasing moral values many relations are ending in 1or 2 years. Now lets come to your problem talk to your boyfriend normally and say your feelings and say him that you want to discuss this matter ,listen his problems and try to convince him but don't be in agressive mood listen him patiently, both of you can take help of counsellor also. If you need my help you can contact me. Take care.

You are not psycho. You are very sensitive type of person. From child hood onwards you have some internal frustrated thoughts. That you have unable to express in a proper manner. You are suffering from emotional instability. Emotions are not expressed in a proper manner. You need emotional therapy. Emotions are also fluctuated from time to time. So better to consult psychologist for emotion relaxation therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy. Some sessions after you feel normal. Do not think I am psycho etc. It is simple behavioural disorder it can be cured is some days. Better to consult good psychologist. Ok best of luck.

As you mentioned you are already taking medication for thyroid problem. And moreover, mind needs rest, to recover itself. Our body clock is designed in such a way that only 6-8 hrs sleep in the night will be beneficial for the proper functioning of body and mind. So, try studying at daytime, and get proper sleep at night, only then you mind gets relaxed. Taking medication for relaxing mind, can relax your mind for sometime, but have serious ill effect afterwards on your health.

There are may modalities which can help you overcome depression. The very first one is your strong will power to come out of it, which I can see in you. What requires to get out of depression is our attitude towards self and situations which should be very positive. To make this change in perception cognitive behaviour therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness are very effective therapies. They not only help you to overcome depression but helps to prevent the relapse also. The psychologist would be able to guide you well after consultation about which therapy will help you.
