How to deal with my mom. She is showing high partiality between me and my brother. Some times I feel like what is the purpose of my life even mom dislikes me. In every single thing she gives importance to him only. Am elder to him am 24 and he is 18. It started from the day he born. I hate him so much because of my mom. He is sweet too. But all my life from age 6 am searching for a reason why is she doing this to me. She does all her duties for me. She loves me. I know that. But in a situation like If she wanted to choose between me and him. She chooses him blindly. This irritates me. Even dad has more affection for him than me I know that but it is not an issue to me. I hate this life no one likes me so much. I have no one to be with. I know am a grown up girl but I can't handle this. Doctor please suggest me to deal with this situation. I used to dream of an angle mother when I was a kid she never hated me or beat me. But that solution is long gone now I can't console myself by dreaming I am in need of a real solution.

Your feelings of being discriminated are reflective of Indian mindset which is heavily biased for a male child. This bias is also root cause of female foeticide and a skewed male to female ratio. The bias is based on beliefs that sons are assets and daughters are liabilities which is completely incorrect in present times when girls study more, earn like boys in any profession and can be independent. I suggest you ignore such behavior of your parents, esp mother. You focus on your study/career/ life goals as you would like them to be. With all your energy, try to be as independent, educated and confident about yourself as possible in your circumstances and have a network of friends, guides, colleagues who are strong and well meaning citizens of 21st century India. Don't feel vulnerable physically, emotionally or economically. Take charge of your own life and don't let old and wrong thinking of your mother dampen your spirits. Best wishes.

Here are some home remedies to cure acidity.  - Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead.  - Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday.  - Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity.  - Nariyal paani is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity.  - Drink a glass of milk - everyday.  - Have your last meal at least two to three hours before you hit the sack.  - Keeping long intervals between meals is another cause for acidity. Have small but regular meals.  - Try to avoid pickles, spicy chutneys, vinegar, etc.  - Boil some mint leaves in water and have a glass of this after meals.

Any therapy that helps you feel better and that does not produce any side effects, is good therapy. Cleansing the aura is not my Forte so can't comment about it. But if it improves your health, Go For It!

What should I do to perfectly concentrate on my studies. My concentration level is getting very low.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

You are under some stress that needs to be dealt with before you experience some relief and regain your memory and concentration. Here are some things you can do to get back your concentration and memory: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid junk food.

Hello, I want to know that how I get more energetic and concentrate on my study. Any medicine is available to do so?

There are no medicines that I know of except the ones that make all kinds of claims, which I can't. You could, however, try the following meticulously too: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Intimacy - It Is All About Teasing The Senses!

Intimacy - It Is All About Teasing The Senses!

Here is a list of 3 scientifically proven ways of increasing intimacy with your partner.

1. Look them in the eye and tell them all about yourself

Self-disclosure is an important part of relationships, especially during the initial phase. However, gradually as people feel that they've known enough about each other, communication seems to come to a standstill. But the actual reason for this is not the lack of things to talk about but resistance which arises out of a feeling of vulnerability. It mostly happens in established relationships because both the partners do not wish to break past the certainty and assurance.

Therefore, the revealing part that may lead to some changes in perception is often skipped. However, not doing so and truly communicating with your partner can help you in increasing intimacy and having a deeper connection with your partner.

2. Share the laughter

Sharing the joy and the humorous experiences is a great way of increasing intimacy with your partner. Since every person's sense of humour is different, humour is a deeply personal aspect of your personality. Therefore, when you share genuine laughter with your partner that is when your sense of humour matches with each other, it improves your understanding and builds intimacy.

3. Tell them how you feel and know how they feel

It is extremely important for you to talk with your partner about how you feel - not just about the relationship, but about other important aspects of your life as well. If conflicts are dealt with by discussing how you feel about them and not on the lines of rationality, you end up feeling more intimate with your partner. Honestly discussing and exchanging your feelings is an amazing way of increasing your intimacy with your partner. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychologist.

You should have your dinner as early as possible, even at 8 pm. Ideally, drinks should be consumed before dinner. Curds at night time is not at all harmful. Curds and buttermilk will do no unusual effect to the effects of alcohol. It is in fact good for your acidity.
