I have cold for two months what should I do?

Firstly there's no lifelong cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are only effective against infections of throat and are of no use against cold viruses. Over-the-counter (otc) cold preparations won't cure a common cold or make it go away any sooner, and most have side effects. A saltwater gargle 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2tsp turmeric dissolved in a glass of warm water can temporarily relieve a sore or scratchy throat. To help relieve nasal congestion, try saline (pure salt water) nasal drops. If you have a throat infection, or a viral cold then I will prescribe appropriate meds based on your detailed assessment. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

Dear, you will definitely get more stamina by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. * very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time * drink atleast 2 litres of water daily. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. Then slowly walk fast and slowly start running. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can do surya namaskar yogasan daily to improve your stamina under the guidance of yoga expert.

Dear , Clear stomach may not be the only solution of gas related problem. If you have this issue since long please take advice of any gastro or medicine doctor, do the investigation done (if advised), avoid irregular food and self medication.

Hi, I had bilateral varicocelectomy on 19th august. So when I can do biking, masturbation, sexual activities, gyming etc. Please advice in detail. You can start doing everything gradually and if it causes any problem wait for another 2-3 wks. 4 to 6 wks is normal healing period allowed for any wound. But actual healing continues way after that too.

If you have recurrent attack of headache1. It could be a tension headache due to anxiety/stress, depression inadequate sleep, low bp/high bp, migraine, prolonged use of cell phone/computer, chronic anaemia, refractive error, chronic sinusitis, organic brain lesion 2. Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8. If it is migraine you have to take migraine prophylactic drug after consulting neurologist.

Dysentry is a medical term referring to increased frequency of passing of unformed stools with mucus and blood. Common types are Bacterial or Amoebic which requires early and appropriate medication. स्वाइन-फ्लू की बीमारी से बचाव में हर्बल चाय लाभदायक हो सकती है। यह चाय आप अपने किचन में भी आसानी से तैयार कर सकते हैं।
यह हर्बल चाय लौंग, इलायची, सोंठ, हल्दी, दालचीनी, गिलौय, तुलसी, कालीमिर्च और पिप्पली को बराबर मात्रा में लेकर चूर्ण बनाकर तैयार की जा सकती है।
स्वाइन फ्लू से बचने के लिए घरेलू उपचार
इस चूर्ण की दो ग्राम मात्रा एक कम चाय में डालकर उसे अच्छी तरह उबालकर सुबह-शाम पीने पर शरीर में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ती है और स्वाइन-फ्लू जैसी बीमारी से भी बचाव होता है। सामान्य स्थिति में भी लोग इस हर्बल चाय का सेवन कर सकते हैं।
यहां बीटीआई मैदान में आयोजित चार दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय आरोग्य मेले में रविवार को लोगों को यह जानकारी दी गई। नागरिकों को यह समझाया जा रहा है कि स्वाइन फ्लू को लेकर भ्रमित होने और घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है। आम तौर पर मौसम में बदलाव के समय फ्लू अथवा सर्दी, जुकाम, बुखार की शिकायत होती रहती है, लेकिन सामान्य इलाज से ये शिकायतें दूर हो जाती हैं।
स्‍वाइन फ्लू के लक्षण पहचानिये
कपूर और इलायची को पीसकर कपड़े में छोटी पोटली बनाकर रखें और उसे बार-बार सूंघते जाएं, तो स्वाइन-फ्लू सहित कई प्रकार के फ्लू यानी सर्दी, जुकाम, सिरदर्द, बुखार आदि से बचा जा सकता है।
इसके अलावा चिरायता, गुडुची, अनंतमूल, सोंठ, हल्दी, कालमेघ, वासा और तुलसी का काढ़ा बनाकर पीने से भी इस बीमारी के इलाज में फायदा होता है। मरीज को नीलगिरी तेल का वाष्प लेना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही सितोपलादि चूर्ण, त्रिकटु चूर्ण, लक्ष्मी विलास रस, गोदंती, श्रंग-भस्म आदि का सेवन आवश्यकता अनुसार चिकित्सक के परामर्श से करना चाहिए।
स्वाइन-फ्लू कोई नई बीमारी नहीं है, बल्कि यह सामान्य प्रकार के फ्लू के लक्षणों के समान लक्षण वाला फ्लू (प्रतिश्याय) है। आधुनिक चिकित्सा विज्ञान में इसका कारण एच-वन-एन-वन नामक विषाणुओं को माना गया है। प्रकृति में ऐसे असंख्य विषाणु वातावरण में मौजूद हैं, जिन्हें कभी नष्ट नहीं किया जा सकता, लेकिन उनसे बचाव किया जा सकता है।
आयुर्वेद के आचार्यो ने हजारों वर्ष पहले इसका वर्णन कर दिया था। शरीर में त्रिदोष (वात, पित्त और कफ) जीवाणुओं से प्रकोपित होकर शरीर में रोग उत्पन्न करते हैं। जब तक त्रिदोष संतुलित अवस्था में होते हैं, तब तक जीवाणुओं की शक्ति कम होती है, लेकिन त्रिदोष का संतुलन बिगड़ने पर बीमारी की स्थिति निर्मित होती है।
प्रकृति ने इन जीवाणुओं और विषाणुओं के बीच ही मनुष्य को स्वस्थ बने रहने के लिए उच्च प्रतिरोधक क्षमता प्रदान की है, लेकिन दूषित आहार और अनियमित जीवन शैली की वजह से मनुष्य की रोगप्रतिरोधक क्षमता कम होती जा रही है। लगातार बुखार, खांसी, गले में खराश, निगलने में परेशानी, शरीर में दर्द, कमजोरी और थकान, भूख नहीं लगना, अरूचि, छींक आना, स्वाइन-फ्लू के लक्षण हो सकते हैं।

Height is usually always dominated by genetics. How short are your parents? if you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you will not grow very much more. There are no amazing magic ways to get taller. Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get tons of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching. Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height. Take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water.

By saying body growing do yu mean weight gain? If it is weight gain You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. Your legs should be at 90 degree to the rest of your body. Place your hands behind your head and clasp your fingers. Now lift your torso and rise up as if you want to touch the knees. Continue for 15 minutes and repeat in sets of 3 or 4. Cycling – Lie down on a floor mat. Raise your legs and rotate them as if you are pedalling a cycle vigorously. Repeat the exercise for five minutes in sets of three. Breathing Exercises to Lose Belly Fat Let us briefly understand on how these work. Oxygen acts as fuel for the body. The extra oxygen that you inhale while performing the breathing exercises result in certain chemical reactions that in turn burns up more calories than you actually take in. You lose extra fat. Pavanmuktasan – for practising Pavanmuktasan, take a deep breath as you lie on your back. Bend you left knee, hold your toes and pull it towards your stomach. Simultaneously lift your head and touch your bent knee. Your other leg must be straight. Breathe in and count ten. Return to your original position and breathe out. Repeat the set with your right leg. Bhujangasan – for practising Bhujangasan lie on your stomach and place your hands under your shoulders. Lift your torso backwards using only the back muscles and not your hands. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds and slowly return to your original position as you breathe out. Dhanurasan – Lie on your stomach and bend your knees. Hold your ankles as you breathe in. Push your body outwards in the shape of a bow and pull your head back as much as possible. Hold this position for 10 seconds and release the posture as you slowly breathe out. Apart from these there are aerobics that also help you to lose belly fat. Regular simple workouts, like jogging, walking up and down through the stairs fast also helps to shed those stubborn belly fat. But remember, it is always advisable to seek the advice of a fitness instructor before you decide as exercise regimen for yourself in order to get the maximum results.

The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. -Use analgesics with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. -Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc.to prevent dehydration. -Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. -Use mosquito repellents/mosquito nets when indoors.  -When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants t
