You can overcome your diabetes by gaining some knowledge about what to eat and what not.

1)Completely stop consumption of sugary foods, artificial sweetness, canned juices and any other sweet preparation.

2)Start substituting your wheat flour with bajra/jowar flour/whole wheat flour to reduce your glucose intake.

3)Include a plate raw veggies before your meal to increase your fibre content as it helps to lower down your sugar levels.

4)Substitute your meals with red or brown rice instead of white rice to increase fiber.

5)Flaxseeds (not to roast) are an excellent source of fibre n omega 3 fatty acids n are known to reduce your glucose levels naturally.

6)Cinnamon tea is one of best remedies to reduce your insulin dosage as it contains chromium pincolate which diverts the glucose from the food we get to the muscle cells n must be taken after dinner.

7)Drinking of kokam water before meals (soaked in water for two hours)
Helps to bring down your sugar levels and is a natural cure for diabetes.

8)Fruits that have high glycemic index are not recommended like mango, chikkoo, custard apple etc

9)Lastly exercise for at least 50mins a day is a key to achieve good health.

I have after 1 year pimple problem some times are clean pimple and some times come now what I do it.
Ayurvedic Treatment Home Remedies- Mix equal quantities of saffron, turmeric, neem, red sandalwood, tulsi, and multani mitti with buttermilk or milk and make a paste of it. Apply twice a day. Prepare a mixture of lemon juice and rose water in equal quantities. Apply this mixture on the affected areas and wash off with fresh water after half an hour. A paste of fresh fenugreek leaves, applied and washed off with warm water before going to bed is good for removing scars of old pimples. To remove skin marks, apply a mixture of carrot juice and pineapple juice to skin twice a week. This not only removes the marks but also adds shine to your skin. Make a powdered mixture of coriander seeds, saunf, tulsi, turmeric, and Indian gooseberry (amla) in equal parts. Take ½ teaspoon of this powder 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. Take 1 teaspoon of powdered Indian gooseberry fruit (amla) in morning and evening with water. Eat fresh neem leaves twice a day. Diet- Raw Onion, Raw Garlic, Raw Ginger, mint, Boiled Beans, Carrots, sweet potato, Flaxseed, oranges, tomato, lemon, spinach. Salad 1hr before lunch and 1hr before dinner. Minimise sugar consumption (especially chocolates, sweets, sugar in tea). Start using a herbal shampoo and kallonji oil. Do's and Do not's- Avoid spicy, oily foods, tea, coffee, cold drinks and fast foods. Eat fresh, unprocessed food. Avoid White rice, bread, corn flakes and other foods which are high in glycemic index, triggering acne formation. Avoid washing your face with soaps. Use fresh aloe vera twice a day. Cleanse your face with lemon peels. Increase intake of water to about 3-4litres per day, and take coconut water. Yogasanas- Sarvangasana, Vajrasana, Shavasana, Anulom-Vilom Pranayam. Do meditation.

Fever with chills and headache are few symptoms of malaria and for preventing it -- see to it that there is no stagnation of water in your house and nearby locality for more than seven days because these are the breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

Sudden stoppage will cause some withdrawal symptoms, and it certainly is not something you should do on your own. Please consult your doctor and let him/her decide whether you must discontinue or not. Ideally, medicines must be gradually weaned off, and your reactions noted for further action. Only the doctor who has prescribed the dosage will know when and how much to withdraw.

i had gone through ptca 2 yrs back and my doctor prescribed me Atocor 80,Asprin75, OD at bed time & Metolar 5oxl ,Ramipres 2.5 in the morning. my morning BP is 80 -115 pulse arround 70. How long this treatment should be continued with same dosage strength .Plz advice.Thanks

Rasoli operation is mild. Do not think about this. For back pain do regular back exercise. You can consult near by physiotherapist. Start daily walking--increase gradually to 40 minuets daily. Reduce oily, fatty diet, she can take b- complex daily one and any calcium tablet daily one. Drink good amount of water.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Hello To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. 5. Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. 6. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

Dear lybrate user, 1. Clean your face twice a day using lukewarm water to dissolve oil. 2. Avoid touching your face with your hands as this germs to your facial skin, making it to breakouts. 3. Ensure that you drink 10-12 glasses of water daily. 4. Avoid fried and spicy food. 5. Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. 6. Avoid harsh skin products. *protein-rich foods such as fish, and iron-rich foods such as dates, raisins and liver, all help strengthen the hair shaft, which leads to less hair loss. Vitamin c enables good absorption of iron, and citrus fruits are the best sources of this vitamin. Vitamin e has several positive effects on the skin and hair. Consuming avocado, nuts and olive oil provides a fair amount of vitamin e to your body.

* Neck pain occurs due to wrong posture or due to strain on your neck muscle . Check your posture , do not bend your neck excessively and when you work on your laptop or computer after half hour of working move your neck slowly in clockwise and anticlockwise direction . * Do neck massage with lukewarm mustard oil . * Do not take pillow of high hight during sleeping Or avoid to take pillow . * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Dear Lybrate User, These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: *Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. *Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. *Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. *Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. *Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. Avoid more salty, dry, maida related junk foods, more tea, coffee. *Consume more fresh fruit juice. *Practice yoga, meditation, breathing exercise. *Cleansing shall be one of the most important steps of your skin care routine. Even if you are not having an acne problem washing the face twice a day helps in removing dirt, oil and dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Less oil and dirt also means less acne. While washing your face never apply soap and always use a mild face cleanser. Also wash the face only with warm or cold water as using hot water can cause pimples.
