Hi sir/mam, I am having a white coat on my tongue. This yields to bad breath also. I use mouth washes, tongue cleaner etc but it gives results for max 1 hour. Even I drink alot of water. Its too annoying, my marge has fixed too. Can I get rid of this permanently? Pls help.

My small grand daughter is not able to pass stools daily, and after 2 days complains of stomach pain. There are no worms problems as we got her de-wormed and stool checked. Result was" OK" The what is her problem of constipation and how can it be dealt with in a 3 year.

Probably child is not eating enough solids & being on milk. A 3 year old child should be able to eat with parents. In addtion insufficient water intake and deferring urge to defecate due to any cause adds up to the problem. Any way start giving semisolids/ solid diet instead of milk every 3 hours with plenty of water in between. For instant relief dulcolax suppositary per anal can be given.

Hello. High blood cholesterol is treated with lifestyle changes and medicines. There are few risk factors: Cigarette smoking High blood pressure (140/90 mmHg or higher), or you’re on medicine to treat high blood pressure Low high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (less than 40 mg/dL) Family history of early heart disease (heart disease in father or brother before age 55; heart disease in mother or sister before age 65) Age (men 45 years or older; women 55 years or older) Food to be avoided: -Saturated fat which is found in some meats, dairy products, chocolate, baked goods, and deep-fried and processed foods. -You also should try to limit the amount of sodium (salt) that you eat. -Try to limit drinks with alcohol. Too much alcohol will raise your blood pressure and triglyceride level. These fish are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. These acids may help protect the heart from blood clots and inflammation and reduce the risk of heart attack. Try to have about two fish meals every week. If you’re overweight or obese, losing weight can help lower LDL cholesterol. Routine physical activity can lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides and raise your HDL cholesterol level. Medication: Cholesterinum 30/ thrice daily for 4 weeks.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily.

Does olive oil prevent heart disease? Do cough syrups work? Do sugary soft drinks lead to diabetes?

Answer is yes to all 3 questions but use in moderation. Skip sugary soft drinks which have lots of caffeine in them eg pepsi and coke's as they weaken bones. One can have sherbet and roofafza and thandai and aam panna type of sugary drinks in moderation.

Hello, Panderm plus can give side effects when used for more than 2-3 weeks. Don't worry. 2 days of use will not give side effects. Please use a sunscreen though for sun protection.

My wife has AB- blood Group. She is currently 5th week pregnant. She suddenly started bleeding and Doctor gave injection of NTD stating she has AB- blood group. Now Doctor has started giving HCG 5000 fertigyn injection on every 5th day. Heartbeat not yet came in fetal. My question is " is this proper treatment? And In which week Heartbeat will come?

Your doctor is doing best to retain this pregnancy. Heart beat is visible from 6-8 weeks. Rising levels of hcg hormone in blood would have been helpful but giving her injection hcg is more important. In normal cases, where no hcg injections are given, viability of pregnancy is assessed by measuring hcg hormone levels in blood. Good luck. Have faith.

What all things we've to do to recovery from dengue fever? And what about food we eat?

Dengue is a viral disease. So, as is true with other viral fevers, after the active disease fades it causes soreness of the body especially, lethargy, weakness, etc. There is no known treatment for dengue fever except for hydration. We have to concentrate on maintaining adequate hydration. Papaya leaves have proven to be very effective in bringing up the platelet count and white blood cell count. Have food which has high water content for example: Fruits: Watermelon and strawberries contain about 92 percent water per volume. Other fruits with high water content include grapefruit with 91 percent, can notaloupe with 90 percent and peaches with 88 percent water. Fruits containing 87 percent water by weight include pineapple, cranberries, orange and raspberries. The water content for apples and pears is 84 percent. Cherries and grapes contain an average of 81 percent water. And, a banana’s composition includes 74 percent water. Vegetables: On top of the vegetables list are cucumber and lettuce, consisting of 96 percent water. Zucchini, radish and celery are comprised of 95 percent water. Ninety-four percent of tomato's weight is water, and green cabbage is 93 percent water. Vegetables that contain 92 percent water include cauliflower, eggplant, peppers and spinach. Broccoli is 91 percent water by weight. Additional healthy hydrating foods include carrots with 87 percent water and green peas and white potatoes with 79 percent water.
