Hello Sir/Madam I am 27 years old. I was having continuous pain in my head from last 3 days. I had visited eye specialist yesterday he said you have to wear glasses. He recommended the power of specs to be ±0.5 on right eye and ±0.5 cyl and ±0.5 on left eye. What should I do so that I can remove the specs. Thanks.

MD - Anaesthesiology, DNB, MBBS
Pain Management Specialist, Amritsar
Please wear specs initially to relieve pain. Then eye exercises can be done. Taking Vitamin A will benefit you. Going by advise of eye specialist is recommended.

1.Dust allergy could be because of so many agents (It could be due to pollen, mite, feathers, droppings of birds, cockroach etc) 2..I advise you to do an allergy test after consulting an allergy specialist to find out the agent which is causing dust allergy. 3.Follow the advice and treatment given by allergy specialist

I have been getting pink bumpy and itchy rashes on my skin (legs, arms, face etc). I have consulted 3 doctors but I still have the problem. Bumps comes all of a sudden and vanishes after some time. I find my eyelids swollen one or the other day when I wake up. Eyelids swell after I go for threading too. Rashes are being noticed around the waistline if I wear a belt. One of the doctor told that it is food allergy and the other told it is due to water or climate change. I am facing this problem from 3 months. I am really worried. Please help me on this.

U have developed contact dermatitis .u vil need to take treatment for it.apply aqua soft cream twice daily over it for two weeks.do not massage it in.avoid cosmetics and face wash for the face.U definitely are allergic.allergy is not a one time affair,it's a lifelong affair.u vil need medications regularly.this is because ur body doesn't have the ability to counter a reaction on its own but medicines help normalise this level.so keep at it and don't give up on ur medicines.

Could be because of dryness dryness of eyes can be because of many reasons and mostly due to age, computer usage, airconditioners, pollution, allergy and many more. One needs to find the exact cause and modify lifestyle accordingly and start medicines. You will have to visit eye surgeon who will help you with the same.

I am facing eyes problem. My eyes are daily red. I am using so many companies eye drops are using but no use. please tel me.

Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily) hope my suggestions helped you. Take care, regards.

I have allergies and my eye are affected they most they re puffy red and itchy what can I do.

Fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, DOMS
Ophthalmologist, Sangrur
Hello. I think you have allergic conjunctivitis. 1. Eye allergies, called allergic conjunctivitis, are a common condition that occurs when the eyes react to something that irritates them (called an allergen). 2. The eyes produce a substance called histamine to fight off the allergen. As a result, the eyelids and conjunctiva (the thin, filmy membrane that covers the inside of your eyelids) become red, swollen and itchy, with tearing and burning. The key to treating eye allergies is a. Avoid or limit contact with the substance causing the problem. B. Avoid rubbing eyes instead do cold compresses. Use antiallergic eyedrop along with lubricating eyedrop. This will help you I am very sorry dear to say that there is no medicine that can cure allergy. Only way is to stay away from all those things that you are allergic to.
