Wife is not supporting then leave it. You have to win yourself. Problem is yours not others. Take the help of family members support or friends support. Partners are gift of the god. Some may get very intelligent and cooperative partner some may not. Do not waste of time to depend on her, do hard work to come out of your crises. Husband is the head of the family. Wife is secondary. Anyone question to you not to her. So your role is important to come out of the status. So do the hard work and come out of the status, best of luck.

Dear Lybrate user, At your age, Memory problems like amnesia are not common. Many young people are having problems with memory. These problems are either they are too busy or due to anxiety and stress. Busy people use organizers or employ a personal assistant because they can't remember every task. You need to understand this. If you still say, you are having memory problems, we need to check your memory using memory test. If you want more of my help in this regard, please contact me. Take care.

Dear user, Nervousness or Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. These feelings may cause physical symptoms, such as a racing heart and shakiness. There are a number of anxiety disorders: including generalized anxiety disorder, a specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, and panic disorder among others. While each has its own characteristics and symptoms, they all include symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety medicines alone cannot cure anxiety disorders mainly because medicines do not alter behavior. Behavior change and Continuous practice of the changed behavior cure anxiety. I suggest anxiety education, progressive counseling and progressive psychotherapy. I assure you complete cure. I need to know more about your anxiety so that I will be able to diagnose it properly and provide you tips to overcome and manage your anxiety. Take care.

Do see a good psychotherapist. It can be treated. Hope your physical health is fine and you are not feeling weak especially due to dieting. Keep yourself well hydrated with plenty of water and other healthy fluids. If you can do yoga or pranayam, it will really help you. Do go out of the house for some time daily. Laugh, breathe, eat healthy, and go for psychotherapy. All the best.

EMPOWERING YOURSELF - YOU CAN CHOOSE NOT TO BE SAD

Post graduate in counselling psychology
Psychologist,
EMPOWERING YOURSELF - YOU CAN CHOOSE NOT TO BE SAD
1. Avoid thinking about the people who has hurt you

Another person’s hurting words and actions can certainly trigger sad thinking and feelings but remember over thinking on those words will lead you nowhere. Putting your energy to think another people’s actions and behaviour, on which you have no control, can lead you in a state of sadness, self-compassion and hopelessness. Psychologist Shivani Misri Sadhoo suggests on such conditions when another person hurts you, remember yourself that you have no control on another person’s actions and mindset, be it good or bad. So don’t waste your time or energy thinking about the incident. Instead of that, focus on inner conversations, self-analysis and put efforts to improvise things in your life and its goals.

2. Embrace optimism in your life:

Often when people get hurt they explain things to themselves in a pessimistic way. AVOID that. Remember very often pessimistic thinking approach leads to self-isolation, depression and withdrawal. What is required rather - being optimistic, try to adopt a way of thinking like, “the person talked to me roughly, did I wrongly intervene in his/her personal space? , I should take care of this next time”, or “something might not be right at that person’s end and his/her rough behaviour is an outcome of that situation”. Such kind of thinking style will always help you to become a better observer of life and will improve your interpersonal skill and the way you handle yourself.

3. Friends and relatives VS Telephones Mobiles and computers

Sitting in front of TV, Mobile and laptop screen for hours reduces brain stimulation. Remember humans are designed to do whole body movement, to move our muscles that stimulate our cerebellum, which in turn stimulates our cortex. So tell yourself if you want to be happy in life, then choose family outings, relative visits, friend gatherings, exercises over TV, mobile and PC.

Dear Lybrate user. In many of the cases Stammering has two important reasons. Vocal chord misalignment or other problems are the primary reason. For this vocal chord complaint, you should consult an ENT specialist and get it corrected. Second reason is purely psychological. Stammer therapy can help you in psychological reasons. Take care.
