Taking medicines without consulting a doctor is not a wise thing to do. Pl do not take such medicines. Drink lots of water. If temperature rises apply ice cold packs on fore head and lower abdomen. Give a sponge. Give 5-6 glasses of fruit juice and one cup og spinach juice every day. Do not give any other food. She should be fine in 4-5 days. In the meantime do consult a doctor if the fever persists.

Lybrate-user, happy new year pain in knee have many reasons but most of pain will cure with proper muscle strengthening exercise like quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercise. Please do cycling for at least 3 month do all stuff. Then if your pain not getting better please do mri and inform.

Dear lybrate-user for jaundice consult to physician and for knee pain use hot pack 15 minutes twice a day and use ointment, strengthening exercise of knee, roll big towel, put under knee press towel tight your knee hold 5 sec repeat 10 times.

Actually I am having little bit pain and tangling sensation at right back near shoulder connected to upper shoulder ,arm right breast and right hand is paining sometimes, tingling sensation sometimes at breast, if I lift heavy stuffs, hands pain alot, and I have consulted doctor, taken x ray. Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Your body seems to be heated. Take take a teaspoonful of fenugreek (methi) in the morning with water in empty stomach for 10 days. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Consult after 5 days.

Improve your posture. Avoid forward bending. Use hard bed. Start hot saline fomentation followed by volini gel and back exercises. For detailed information about exercises please refer my health tips.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. 3 Essential Tips to Prevent Back Pain

Back pain is one of the most common debilitating disorder in the world today. The pain affects 90% of people at some point of their lives. Human back comprises of various structures (see figure) which are nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons, any or all of which can be a source of pain. Once back pain occurs, it may become chronic (more than 4 weeks) and you shall need to consult a pain physician for relief and accurate diagnosis.

Since prevention is always better than cure,  you can save yourself from having back pain if you follow these basic tips:

  1. Regular Exercise in Correct Form: Regular exercise is important to maintain proper muscular strength of the back. Human back is supported by several big muscle groups (see figure). They serve two functions - one is to facilitate the posture and movements of the back itself and the other is to help movements of the rest of the body appendages (arms, head, pelvis and legs).The health of these muscle group is important to take stress off the spinal bones and maintain proper function. Most of these muscles are red muscle fibers as they need to maintain their activity for prolonged periods of time. Just to give you an idea - your biceps (arm muscles) have to work only when you bend your arm. But your back muscles have to function all the time - whether you sit, walk, stand or even sleep. But the point is what kind of exercises are good for your back? The best exercises for back include body weight low impact aerobics like brisk walking, swimming, stationary bicycling, extension exercises and yoga. What is important to remember while doing these exercises if that you need to be gentle in your movements and achieve correct "form" - this is possible if you can ask someone (preferably a trainer) to observe and point out whether the back stays straight during the exercise. It has been seen that arching and excessive bending is associated with injury to the back while exercising.

  2. Stay Hydrated and Eat Natural Nutritious diet:The inter vertebral discs contain 70 - 80% water. The muscles and tissues have 60% water content. Therefore, it is important to stay hydrated. In addition, you must eat a nutritious diet consisting of green leafy vegetables, good protein source and just enough carbohydrates. Deficiencies of essential nutrients like Vitamin D can result in diseases like osteoporosis. Another important aspect is to maintain body weight within healthy limits. This is very important as increased belly fat is linked to increased back pain due to mechanical factors.

  3. Lift objects correctly and maintain proper posture: While lifting objects, keep them as close to body as possible. Do not slouch or bend excessively while lifting. Just keep your back straight at all times. You may bend your knees a little if required (see figure). Think before you lift and get help if needed.

While working, you must not sit for more than 45 minutes at a stretch. Walk for two minutes, go to a colleague's desk and say hi or even just drink some water or visit the washroom. Humans evolved as hunter - gatherers and our bodies are more adapted to walking / standing than to sitting for prolonged periods. Those of you who travel more and have to sit for long periods of time also need to follow above tips - avoid prolonged sitting in same posture.While exercising, improper position can do more harm than good. Therefore, proper form and posture is a must.

Bonus tip: Avoid cigarette smoking and those who smoke cigarettes to decrease your chances of having degenerative disc diseases leading to chronic back pain early in life.

Word of caution to prevent permanent damage: In case of back pain, which is not responding to home remedies or over the counter painkillers, please contact a Pain Physician to pinpoint the diagnosis and appropriate management.

The best way to get cured is to visit a skilled orthopedic physiotherapist. Rest, take care of your back in terms of posture, neck and low back positions while working, proper rest, don't lie on your stomach, sleep on sides. Stop smoking (if at all you do). Avoid forward bending if it's painful. Take lime water early morning daily. Apply nupatch 200 (it's a pain plaster) at the painful area which lasts for 24 hours. Re-apply a new one if needed. Keep moving, don't bed bound yourself, keep your back hydrated by gentle movements. Finally, get your back adjusted by a skilled spinal physiotherapist. Hope it helps. Take care. Thanks.

Avoid sitting and standing for long lime also avoid pillow at sleeping time give gentle massage with mahanarayan oil on both neck and knee joint then give hot medicated fomentation on it it will help you also take healthy diet.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

L4; 5 with weakness in leg. Its red flag sign. It's indicator of spinal cord or root involvement. Required bed rest with lumbar traction. Neuroprotective ; pain reliever drug treatment with and physiotherapy.

This is a common problem with new Gym going person. One should avoid forward bending and straight leg raising, sitting cross-legged. If it is mild it will take 1-2 weeks. You should stop Gym for few days to a week. But you may continue GYm with the afore said precautions. You can continue walker in the mean time.

I was doing exercise ie. Pushup and fumble exercise at my house without any trainer wrongly 1 year ago. My right side body part is some downside .Mychest ,shoulder, upper part of shoulder and some part near neck is different from left side of my body. My right shoulder is more bigger than left shoulder. My body shape is distorted. My both chest are not in same shape left chest is up and right chest shape is some down side. By seeing this anyone not see difference but I feel from inside my one shoulder and right chest is some on downside and left chest is on up side and I am very depressed and sad from 1 year and not doing any single exercise because when I so any exercise then this shape of my body become more distorted than before. I am afraid of going to hospital also and gym also .please sir help me please.

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.
