Mr Subhashish, The blood sugar levels mentioned are just below the diagnostic levels. Diabetes is confirmed if fasting is >126 mg/100 ml and PP is >200 mg / ml. If you are not on any medication then these levels are called as a prediabetic condition or Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT). If you adapt a strict changed life style can still remain free of diabetes or delay the onset. Regular exercise and proper diet, avoiding alcohol and smoking can be very helpful.

I suffer from asthma. I use inhaler. Any permanent solution from asthma. I never do my work properly.

Mr. Lybrate-user,there is no permanent solution for asthma. You would have to inhalational medications esp. In winters when it exacerbates due to allergens in environment. Protect yourself from cold winds and avoid hot/spicy foods.

Some anti hypertensive medicines also cause diminished libido and erection problems as also anxiety issues. Need is to remain tension less by yoga, practice of pranayam and meditation and walks and good diet. Herbal support is useful if above tips are not able to show results in a month. If at all you need herbal support, pl do not take from fly by night operators posing to sell khandani ayurveda products. Otherwise you may be at loss. You may consult any ayurveda consultant near you. General treatment is for 7 weeks. Saptadhatuvardhak herbs are the answer.

I am under treatment for epilepsy and have been prescribed encorate chrono 500 mg. And a common side effect of this drug is hairloss. Will visiting a dermatologist be helpful? I know that changing the epilepsy drug is an option but my neurologist isn't agreeing for it.

Then change the neurologist, as hair loss in your age is highly depressing. There are wonderful new anti-epileptics which act without causing hair loss. A good doctor understands the need of the patient and tailors the drugs accordingly. If there is no other option he can tell like that, since other options are there and he is not willing to use them, you have no other option other than to change the neuro.

It is very essential to cleanse and exfoliate underarm area skin every day just as we do with our faces. When we neglect other parts while pampering face, this results in patchy dark skin and sometimes itching in that area. So follow this daily care routine for getting rid of dark folded areas. • Take milk and rub your dark area with it. Milk is an excellent cleanser and a toner too. • After cleansing, use a scrub, preferably APRICOT SCRUB ( BAKSON), to exfoliate the skin around your dark areas. • You may mix olive oil with sugar and rub gently to scrub your dark areas • Sometimes use another scrub having bleaching agent such as lemon juice. You will find many scrubs here in this article that you can use for daily exfoliation. • After exfoliating, wash off with water and apply some moisturizer. • Never step out in sun when you apply lemon juice on your skin. This will make your dark areas darker than before. If you follow the above skin care regime daily, you will begin seeing result in a two week’s time. However, do not stop and continue cleansing, scrubbing and moisturizing your skin. Home Remedy Oats is not only good for your overall health but also for your patchy dark spots. As we do not pay more attention towards cleaning our other areas while doing every thing for our face- from cleansing, scrubbing, moisturizing and what not – our skin folds gets dirty with the oil and fine grit deposits. This makes it look patchy and dark. Oats can be used as a scrub as well as a mask for dark areas when mixed with certain other skin lightening ingredients. Use oats as a scrub for dark areas You will need: • Oats – ground it coarsely, do not make fine powder out of it • Tomato pulp • Water • Moisturizer Directions: • Take the coarsely ground oats powder. • Mix tomato pulp to it to get a paste like consistency. • Apply this mixture to your entire folded region. • Leave it for about 15-20 minutes. • Now wet your fingers a littles and start rubbing your dark areas gently in circular motions. The coarse oats will have an exfoliating effect to remove dead skin cells from your dark areas. • After scrubbing dark areas with this natural oats scrub for about 5-7 minutes, wash off with water. • Apply some moisturizer on dark folded areas and massage gently. You may use this scrub twice or even thrice in a week depending upon the intensity of dark patchy folded skin . While oats will remove dirt and dead cells, tomato pulp will lighten the skin due to its natural bleaching properties. 10 Tips to Sleep Better

10 tips for how to sleep better:

  1. Rest in cozy comfort: quality mattress, soft blankets and cool temperature will reduce annoying distractions (too hot! achy back!) and help you relax.
  2. Turn on some soothing sounds: use a sound machine or a fan to drown out what may be preventing you from falling asleep within 15 minutes of laying down.
  3. Complete darkness: If your room isn’t completely dark, consider a sleep mask—this will also increase your natural production of melatonin, which is not only a great sleep inducer but a great cancer fighter as well (study).
  4. Snooze-inducing smells: wearing lavender lotion or using a diffuser with lavender essential oil may help you hit deep sleep sooner. Plus, who doesn’t love the smell of lavender? ahhh…
  5. Turn off tech and meditate: Turn off tech at least 1 hour before going to bed. Then, keep lights dim and read or meditate to let your body naturally make some sleepy melatonin (the hormone that is produced as it gets dark out, and regulates sleep and wake cycles).
  6. Skip or reduce caffeine: Caffeine not only prevents many folks from falling asleep at night initially, but it can also decrease the amount of restful sleep that happens at night (study). If you’re having trouble sleeping at night, try decaf, herbal tea or keep it to one cup very early in the morning.
  7. Go easy on the alcohol: Alcohol feels like a sedative at first because it slows down motor and brain function, leaving us feeling relaxed and worry-free. But, as it’s metabolized, acetaldehyde is produced, which acts like a stimulant in our bodies. This is what wakes us up in the wee hours of the morning unable to get the rest we need. So for a good night’s sleep, peel back on the alcohol and drink it earlier and with food (or not at all).
  8. No nicotine: Nicotine is similar to caffeine in that it’s a stimulant and may cause insomnia. And even once you fall asleep, you’ll have decreased slow wave sleep, which means it’s less restorative (study). Tough love: stop smoking. 
  9. Exercise: Try to fit in 20-30 min of moderate exercise daily, but make sure to do it several hours before bed. Ideally, 20-30 minutes of cardio in the morning with some restorative yoga in the afternoon.
  10. Clear your mind: If you’re tossing and turning after switching the lights off, you may need to hit the reset button on your mind. Here are a few things to try. Before going to bed, journal—jot it all down. You could also try a guided meditation. If you can’t fall asleep after lying in bed for 15 minutes, get up and do something relaxing for 15-30 minutes before returning to bed. Don’t give up. You’ll find a strategy that works for you.

dont worry about size as far as you get good erection and timngs. women vagina initial 2 inches is sensitive so size aythg bigger than 2 inch is sufficient. imprtant is good erection and timings. consult for detailed discssion and solve your erection and timing issues.

Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/milk). Avoid fatty foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment: A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily. -Complications like infections of ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Cough- For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D.(1 tsp thrice daily) -Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or lungs.Use syrup Alex. -Get chest xray done if cough lasts for more than a week and consult doctor immediately -Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily

What will be the best way to be fit during dengue fever?
The principal symptoms of dengue are: High fever and at least two of the following: Severe headache Severe eye pain (behind eyes) Joint pain Muscle and/or bone pain Rash Mild bleeding manifestation (e. G, nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: Severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting Red spots or patches on the skin Bleeding from nose or gums Vomiting blood Black, tarry stools (feces, excrement) Drowsiness or irritability Pale, cold, or clammy skin Difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection.Use analgesics (pain relievers) with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc. Prevention: the best way is to prevent bites by infected mosquitoes. To protect yourself: Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. Use mosquito repellents, even indoors. When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks. Make sure window and door screens are secure and free of holes. If sleeping areas are not screened or air conditioned, use mosquito nets
