Can I use zydus alidac (dexamethasone) and practin for weight gain .my age was 17 years and 6 months.
Practin only will increase your appetite but it can also lead you in a state of dizziness and dexamethasone is a steroid which will lead to false weight gain and hence I will suggest you to not take any medicine for weight gain and concentrate on oral food intake.

Pl keep bp under monitoring as also cholesterol under check. If heart efficiency is compromised, heavy exercise is not allowed.

Many reason could be so first you need medical check up.Beside this follow this guidelines..Eat healthy food extra.eat more frequently.Take dense fruits and vegetables.Take whole cream milk.Use weight gainer nutritional supplement.Add cream,cheese,butter,jam,jelly,ghee with your food.Eat more protein rich foods.Add healthy oil in cooking extra.Take almond,walnut,cashew,hemp seed,flax seed,pumpkin seed,sunflower seed.Take yogurt,dates.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Smoking leads to weight loss.Drink lots of water but not during meals.Take quality sleep and lead an stress free life.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 main and mid meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee, cream in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite.  Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

It is hardly likely that there is no reason for your tension. If you do not have a conscious reason, then the unconscious mind will have one for sure. If there are reasons buried in your unconscious mind, it is likely that the reasons may have been precipitated from childhood experiences, or a long time ago. The reason you have not been perturbed by it this far is because these may have been suppressed for years, and at an undue moment when stressful factors may have lowered your defenses, it is bound to come up and trouble you. You need to talk to a counselor and that person will help you identify these influences from childhood, and then you could work on them. Any which way, learn about your emotions and learn how to express them appropriately.
