Please do the pregnency test if there is doubt. It is also important to be knowledgeable and take good decisions. Please visit a gynecologist for a general health check-up for your wife. Discus all your problems and let the doctor suggest some basic tests (antinatal tests) so that you can ensure safety and good health for both the baby and the mother. Taking a preventive check up is the norm today as one can avoid a lot of complications during and after pregnancy. Please revert after this first step and update all the reports for any further clarification or helpful information.

Vaginal Discharge - When Should You Be Worried About It!

MICOG, MS, MBBS

Vaginal Discharge - When Should You Be Worried About It!

Vaginal discharge is a normal physiological phenomenon, in which the consistency of vaginal discharge varies throughout the cycle. Healthy vaginal discharge is clear or white in colour, with normal and non-offensive odour. Sometimes right before menstruation, your vaginal discharge may hold a brownish tinge.

The consistency of the discharge varies mostly on the hormonal changes in the body. When the levels of oestrogen are low, the cervical mucus that is liberated as discharge may be perceived as sticky and thick. When the oestrogen levels rise up, the discharge becomes wetter, more stretchy and clearer. Also, after ovulation, the consistency becomes thicker again.

When should you worry about the vaginal discharge?

  1. Greenish, greyish or absurdly brownish in colour
  2. When the discharge appears thicker than normal
  3. When the discharge is more than normal
  4. When it smells absurd like fishy or rotten meat like smell
  5. Pus like discharge
  6. White with cottage cheese like discharge
  7. When the discharge is associated with bloody discharge and burning sensation, rash or soreness.

Diseases caused by vaginal discharge

  1. Yeast Infection: The vaginal discharge is cottage cheese like and may be associated with itching of the vulva. This is also called as thrush. It can be treated easily with antifungal medications such as Fluconazole or Cotrimoxazole.
  2. Vaginitis: Yellowish offensive discharge, which may be profuse, associated with itching and abdominal pain.
  3. Trichomoniasis: This disease is asymptomatic in most cases and you may notice purulent discharge.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

To terminate the pregnancy immediately you need to take tablets which can be prescribed by gynaecologist. But be very sure as spontaneous first pregnancy is the best pregnancy, one should try to continue it as far as feasible. For further query you may contact online clinic.

It is good to wait for three months before trying for the next conception. In the meantime, one should improve all health parameters. If you like, you can contact me with the blood reports of the miscarriage. Be positive :) I am positive of a successful next conception.

Stress - Homeopathic Remedies For It!

Stress - Homeopathic Remedies For It!

Stress is a condition in which we feel frustrated, angry or worried and anxious due to circumstances we find ourselves in. Stress also takes the form of different diseases in your body, if it is left untreated.

Even when you are faced with the same situations, it can cause a different stress response in different people. In homeopathy, mental symptoms of the patient are analytically checked. Homeopathy first identifies the root cause, and the treatment approach differs based on this finding. Usually, the understanding of both the psycho and the physiological profile of the patient are combined, with the psychological profile being given more importance.

Here is a list of valid reasons why choosing homeopathy for stress treatment

1. Identifying the cause

Homeopathic medicines are not designed to suppress the symptoms and offer superficial relief. They work towards restoring the vitality of the body as a whole so that the body can itself combat with the diseases. Similar is the case for stress. Homeopathic medications address the underlying issues that cause stress and, therefore, they help you in dealing with your medical condition more effectively and permanently.

2. Symptom-based treatment

Homeopathy recognizes the uniqueness of the various symptoms and responses associated with stress.

For instance: homeopathic medicines for stress, when the cause of stress is grief (eg: losing a dear one) is Ignatia and natrum mur; whereas the medicines for stress, when stress is caused due to 'long and stressful work hours' is kali phos.

3. In-depth research

Homeopathy treatment is based on in-depth research to ascertain the factors that are responsible for your stress and deal with your condition accordingly.

Your brain is just another organ operating on the same biochemical principles as or heart or thyroid or liver. We experience feelings, positive or negative, at the cellular level - scientifically, it is no more than a complex interaction of chemicals and electrical activity.

The approach of homeopathy is more specific and, therefore, more effective. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Homeopath.
