The result will remain positive life long. It is life long auto-immune disease. But symptoms can be well controlled by prednisole, anti-diabetic and anti-hypertensive medicines, diabetic diet and exercises, salt restricted.

Now, in this age, that too with the long h/o of diabetes, hypertension, intakeof alprozalam, all of sudden, you can not quit, but you can try alternative medicines, from homeo, which will be given based on your constitution, will help to reduce the need of those medicines gradually, so that can be tapper gradually, but not sure that, you can quit completely, as this is since long,& you r above 73 years ow, so a bit risky. By following diet tips, strict life style pattern, practicing paranayamaa, breathing exercises which will be taught by art of living, etc trusts, you can get rid of tensions& keep mentally calm/peace, which will help to get better sleep, & regarding dreams, there is no relation with medicines, its all due to your subconscious thoughts, brooding, roaring of thoughts inside.

Hi lybrate-user, thanks for the query. You can try taking basil leaves for 21 days twice daily. A quantity of 10-15 leaves will do the work. This will help you fight the allergens naturally. Also we had a tested solution through homoeopathy for such allergic rhinitis. But for this we need more data related to indivualise your case and give holistic approach.
