I have a severe migraine from many days, no tablets are able to control the pain, is there any good way to control it?

Hello, migraine is a form of headache. The pain is usually throbbing, pulsating and bursting in character. At times, the pain is one sided or may involve the whole head. Such pain may last for hours or even days. It is often accompanied by other symptoms like nausea or vomiting. At the same time, there is increased sensitivity to light and sound. The causes of the problem may vary from one patient to another and so will the final choice of the homoeopathic remedy. Prevention tips:- 1. Keep a headache diary: this may help you in identifying the trigger factors such as foods, activities and weather 2. Exercise regularly: regular exercise, yoga and relaxation techniques such as meditation can also be of great help. 3. Keep regular sleep patterns: sleep adequately. Sleeping too much or too less can trigger migraine. 4. Watch out what you eat: foods such as caffeine and chinese foods that contain monosodium glucamate and chocolates cheese are well-known trigger factors. 5. Eat regularly: fasting is a very common trigger in many people. Milk has protein and protein is good for hair. Milk products like paneer, butter milk, curd etc. Are beneficial for health (taken in limit, like two glasses of milk a day are enough). Excess of everything is bad but milk is essential for health. In some cases, it might work the other way, such as, I have diabetes and I should not have sugar. Some people suffering from some problems might have problem with milk.

Hi, you may suffer from fissure. Or may be acute ulcer at anal area which can be last for 4 -5 days. After stool because of fissured skin small amount of bleeding and itching is present. Use calendula gel for local application will help to heal the ulcer if present. To avoid for getting constipated. So drink plenty of water more than 2 lit per day green leafy vegetables n cup of hot milk with 1 tsp cow's ghee and take it at bedtime will surely help to get ride from hard stool. Ultimatelu your problem solved. N if recurrence of the same complaint it will need a proper medication.

Hi, If you’re aiming to gain some strength and build muscle, you must follow the points mentioned below: Start exercising. If you’re a beginner, focus on bodyweight exercises like push up, pull up and squat.  The basic push up and chin up are invaluable exercises you can do with very little equipment. Increase their difficulty by adding reps or affixing weights to your legs. Consume a balanced diet. It's important to eat big meals to fuel muscle growth while you're training. You’ll need to eat healthy, whole foods that will nourish and restore your muscles. Consume all types of fruits, vegetables, grains, oils and dairy products. Take adequate rest. Many people take this step lightly, but it's absolutely essential when it comes to gain strength. That means you won't be able to work out as hard or lift as much as you otherwise would, not to mention you'll be more prone to injury if you're feeling sleepy. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night, possibly more depending on your individual needs, during heavy workout periods. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chicken breast, egg whites, fish, pulses provide you all the protein you need without containing any unnecessary fat. Focus on compound movements. Compound movements are those which engages more than one muscle group. Exercises like bench press, squat, dead lift are great examples of compound exercises to gain strength quickly. Lift heavy. If your main aim is to gain strength, you’ll need to lift heavy weights in the gym and thus, lower the repetitions of your sets. Moderate-rep sets are important when training for muscle size. However, to build strength, you're going to have to train with heavier weights, meaning you'll do fewer reps. Limit cardio to once or twice per week. Cardio exercises like running, swimming, and biking are great ways to keep your endurance good and your circulation healthy. However, they aren't the best exercises you can do if your goal is to gain strength. Weight training requires loads of energy, and if yours has already been used up by a long run or bike ride, you won't have enough left over to give weight training your best shot. Limit cardio to once or twice per week so your energy reserves are ready to expend on building strength.

Hello- yoga -with yoga one can expect increased flexibility, toning and strengthening. -you don't need any equipment, just some space around yourself to practice the various asanas. You save the travel time needed to go to a gym. -you don't feel the urge to bunk yoga sessions because of the convenience it offers. -after a yoga session one feels energetic and fresh. It helps to get rid of fatigue. -yoga does not increase hunger. -the ancient science of yoga has been developed in such a way that it acts on the internal organs of the body and benefits one not just physically, but mentally, intellectually and spiritually also. Gym -you need equipment for gymming and also you cannot do it at home. -not everyone can afford a gym at home. Your gym could be far from home and you might end up using precious time reaching there. -there are times when one tends to bunk gym sessions because of distance, weather, etc. -after a gym work out one may feel tired and having to deal with sore body parts. -a gym session may increase your hunger and lead to overeating. -gym sessions act more or less on the outer appearance and tone the muscles. -a gym workout mostly has only physical benefits and rarely offers mental stimulation.

A decrease in bone density leads to osteoporosis. In this condition, the bones become weak and brittle. Fractures are a common result of osteoporosis. Symptoms or signs do not show up until it is too advanced.
To maintain bone mass and slow the deterioration of the bone, a number of homeopathic medicines are available. Mild osteoporosis is easier to treat with homeopathy. In advanced cases, homeopathy can be taken along with conventional medicine for best results.

What are the best remedies for osteoporosis?

  1. For treating fractures in osteoporosis, the best natural homeopathic remedy is Symphytum officinale which helps in knitting/uniting the fractured bone by increasing the production of callous.When a bone is fractured and the surrounding tendons and ligaments of the bone also get severely damaged, the natural homeopathic medicine Ruta Graveolens is given. It also helps in mending the damaged bones, decreasing the pain, soreness and stiffness. If nerves get crushed between damaged vertebral bones, the pain can be managed by Hypericum perforatum. Silicea is prescribed when pus or fistula has formed at area of the fracture. If a patient is having troubles in assimilating calcium, Silicea can help to enhance digestive powers.
  2. Calcarea phosphorica, Phosphorus and Sulphur are used for treating the curvature of bones in patients with osteoporosis.

Hello. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i. E. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Prevention: -Take healthy food only and avoid unhealthy ones (although sebaceous glands are not excretory glands then as well!) as what you eat is reflected on your face! -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension as it encourages secretion of stress hormone in the body as thus affects skin or any other tissue of the body. -Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water in a day. -Take 6-8hrs. Of sound sleep everyday. -Don't use others towels, handkerchief on your face as well as never share yours. -Never ever rub your face as it damages the skin (even towel should be dab on skin softly) and break outs of acne get worsened! -Maintain hygiene, wash your face 2-3times in a day, changes the pillow covers, bed sheet daily, use cotton bed sheet only (try to sleep on your back). Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 30 days. Also, use Bakson’s Apricot scrub 1-2times a week on the area.

Scaling and Polishing for Healthy Teeth

What is scaling?
Over time, even with regular brushing and flossing, plaque (sticky, soft, bacteria infected layer) and tartar (calcium) deposits build up on your teeth. Scaling removes the tartar and plaque with specialised equipment. Scaling effectively cleans up your teeth by using ultrasound to loosen the tartar and then using tools to scrape it off from the surface of the tooth.

What is polishing?
Polishing is done to remove excess plaque and remove stains. Scaling is always followed by polishing. Polishing also smoothes and shines the teeth to prevent plaque from building up again. It is either done by foam or fluoride gel treatment to reduce the possibility of tooth decay and sensitivity.

Why are they done?
Scaling and polishing are not only done for cosmetic reasons; they are also done for overall oral health. Excessive plaque and tartar buildup will eventually lead to the perfect environment for bacteria to thrive and multiply. The ultimate purpose of polishing and scaling is to clean the surface of the teeth so that the bacteria cannot attach to them and cause serious oral problems (such as gum disease). Also, scaling and polishing offer far better cleaning of your teeth than everyday brushing and flossing.

However, scaling and polishing is not a curative treatment. If your teeth have been damaged by cavities or other oral diseases, you need medical attention.

In fact, professionally, this treatment is called prophylactic treatment; and the word ‘prophylactic’ comes from prophylaxis, which is Greek for ‘to prevent disease’. Thus scaling and polishing is more of a preventive measure than a cure.

Do they hurt?
This process is essentially painless. Most of the people who undergo this treatment usually have the following experiences:

  1. Tickling sensation
  2. Coolness from the water used to clean the mouth

Dear lybrate-user, Brain tumour is almost impossible in your case. Most common cause of headache in your age is chronic tension type headache (CTTH). CTTH is a peri cranial muscle problem. It will improve significantly on medication. So don't worry, good treatment are the just consult psychiatrist. All d best.

There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. Persons who think they have dengue should use analgesics (pain relievers) with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc. To prevent dehydration. Preventing dengue fever: the best way to prevent the disease is to prevent bites by infected mosquitoes.Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. Use mosquito repellents, even indoors. When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks.

Use your time at home to graze regularly. Several small meals and snacks may seem more manageable than three large meals. Dried fruits, seeds, cheese and nut butter are nutritionally rich and calorie dense. Snack on a 1/4 cup of raisins for about 110 calories; spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on a medium banana and consume almost 300 calories; and have an ounce of cheddar cheese with just seven woven wheat crackers for 233 extra calories. Add one or all of these snacks daily to pile on a pound in a week.

your weight should be around 82 kgs..Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one cup of water..If you use freshly ground black pepper, then just add one-quarter teaspoon...Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach....Do this daily for at least three months...

I am a 40 years old male having Hypertension for the past 5 years I was taking Telma 40 morning and amlong 5 mg evening for the last three years a week ago my BP suddenly shot up to 190/100 I was feeling dizzy and my heart was pounding very fast this lasted for half and hour. The next day I got and ECG and 2D Echo done which was normal but the TMT test showed positive for induced ischemia. On the Doctor's advice I got a coronary angiogram done which showed mild coronary artery disease but no blocks there was slight plaque build up in the arteries the doctor changed my medicine to cilamet xl 10/50 to be taken morning and ecosprin av 20/75 to be taken in afternoon. It has been 3 days and I still get sudden panic attacks where I feel chill feeling on my hands and feeling of irregular heart beat this last for about 15 minutes and subsides. The doctor has now added ZAPIZ 0.5 to be taken in evening. With this I am not feeling the panic/anxiety symptoms. Is this sudden feeling of panic/anxiety attack due to cilamet xl? I also seem to be having gasses forming in my stomach after meals the doctor has prescribed Razo D please let me know if the problem I am facing in Gastric or BP medication or Psychological?

Follow these best tips to lightens and remove the black spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4.Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 5. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly . 6.Avoid use of any cosmetic products. 7.Avoid continous long hours exposure of sunlight.
