My wife is 24 years old. We have one baby of 2 years old. She is breastfeeding the baby. Since one month my wife is feeling some complications like weakness, headache, weight loss, fatigue, swelling on leg below the knee and wrist below the elbow. I consulted a lady doctor and also get check up the hgb test. Hgb level found above 11.5. The doctor recommended syrup for iron and some medicine also. Since my wife's leg below the knee and wrist developed swelling, the doctor recommended some medicine too. One month is over since consulted to the doctor. Swelling is under control now but my wife suffers consistently loose motion on every two days and develops gas too.

Hello, let me inform you that iron tablets cause acidity and constipation. You can do these do things 1. Take iron tablets half n hour after food. 2. Take capsules with ferrous citrate as component. 3. Drink lots of fluids or else take syrup diegene 2 tsf twice or thrice daily.

I met an accident and have a grade-ii contusion of posterior horn of medical meniscus. I am following the diet & exercises. Due to pain I am not able to sleep well. I am feeling depressed a lot these days. I feel alone. I am getting angry very quickly. I am not able to concentrate well on anything. I am feeling a lot nervous, when people around my hands shake even while holding a glass of water which doesn't happen when at home. My age is 28 and I rarely used to drink, 10 times in my whole life. Even at office, I get lost in thoughts and my work rate is slow. I am loosing my confidence. How to get over this?

Dear . We understand you are going through a tough phase, but its just a phase, will go over. You can not control or change the situation, but yes you can definitely chose how to handle this difficult phase. Understand your limitations and focus on your goals. Read motivational and successful stories there are people who had suffered d more than you. Watch comedy movies focus on your qualities. Your response to adversity is a gesture of kindness for your family. It's ok. Things will be fine very soon. Stay positive.

I'M 20 years old n m in a relationship from past 1.5 years. My bf was nice to me. Did everything for me like it was a perfect fairytale story. He used to talk to me while day. Left all his friends. And drugs. But due to some reason 1.5 month back he asked me for some money which I failed to give him. N I don't know other reasons. He started ignoring me so badly. N in this 1 month I everyday tries to calm him n ask him about his behaviour. But he has only reply that he don't know y is he doing that. He has started being with his friends from morning to late nights. N from last one month he only switches off his phn whenever I try to reach him. N whenever I try to end n ignore him for a day or two he comes back calling day n night n promises me every such thing that can makeup my mind for being with him. But as this happens he again next day does the same ignoring me. He says he can't be with me 24*7 but actually he doesn't even stays for 2 mints. N this hurts the most because he used to be with me from day to night. Then he comes back n again cry for hurting me. But again n again does the same. He says he's not able to keep me happy he has spoilt my life n I should get my happiness back n leave him. N keeps on crying. He comes to me only when he s home or not going anywhere and still blames me for everything . He hurts me a lot and still doesn't feel anything. He takes me for granted every time and when he feels like he wants me then n there but whenever I ask the same he says y do you want me at that particular time only. N all such things. I probably have to wait for 2-3 days to talk to him perfectly. And then he starts his emotional drama and again goes back to the same. M very much depressed about this as even after fighting telling him lovingly. That this is ignorance n he should at least for my sake take a decision. But he only cries n settles things. Pls tell me how do I handle him. Why is he doing so. What should I do?

First of all you need to tackle your own self. You have to take a stand to protect yourself from immense hurt you are getting. Put yourself in a virtual chamber so that his drama, begging, pleading falls on your deaf ears. Be nice but not emotionally involved. Distance from him is best till you take control of your own emotions and be able to decide to continue with him or part ways. Donot feel depressed, be calm and confident and surely you will find the best way.

Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. Add ½ tsp of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of honey with 1 cup of warm milk. Drink before going to bed. Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. Take 1 teaspoon each of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in 2 cups of water, boil and reduce it to one cup and drink it daily in the morning. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cumin on a sliced banana. Eat at night regularly. Drink plenty of fluids.

Hi, Thank you for seeking help on Lybrate. I can not' even imagine the stress you must be going through to the point of having suicidal thoughts. To assess and help you properly I need to understand what Kind of negative thoughts do you have, if there are any stress in life. Negative thinking can be a habit of mind. Thoughts sink in and linger there until you take action to get rid of them. When you first start thinking negatively, it can be tempting to try and force those thoughts out of your head. You try as hard as possible to stop thinking about them and push them out. But this approach often backfires. Resisting those negative thoughts can actually reinforce that thinking pattern and just make things worse. The more you try not to think about something, the more you actually end up thinking about it. To get rid of negative thinking, you need to try a different approach – something that will clear your mind of those negative thoughts once and for all. Here are seven ways to clear your mind of negative thinking. 1. Change your body language Take a moment to observe your body language. Are you slouching with a closed stance? Are you frowning? If you are, you’re more likely to think negatively. Bad body language can lower your self-image and lead to a lack of confidence. In that emotional state, it’s only natural to start having bad thoughts. Sit up straight in a confident manner. Open your stance and smile more. Fix your body language and you’ll feel a lot better. It might be just what you need to clear those negative thoughts. 2. Talk it out Sometimes negative thinking occurs because you have issues or emotions you need to get out. It’s not good to keep things to yourself. If you have something that needs to be addressed, you should talk through them with someone. Putting things into words gives your thoughts shape and form. That can help you put things into perspective so you can deal with them at the root of the problem. 3. Spend one minute calming your mind of all thought When your mind is running a mile a minute, it can be hard to keep up. With everything racing around your head, it can be hard to control the thoughts going on inside – especially the negative ones. Slow things down. One minute of calming is often all it takes. It’s kind of like meditation – you’re emptying your mind. Think of it as a reboot. Once it’s empty, you can fill it with something a little more positive. 4. Change the tone of your thoughts Sometimes negative thinking is the result of poor perspective. Take a look at the point of view you take on the things going on around you. For example, instead of thinking, “I’m going through a difficult time and I’m having trouble,” think “I’m facing some challenges, but I’m working on finding solutions.” You’re basically saying the same thing, except the second way has a more positive spin to it. But sometimes that little tonal shift can make a huge difference to your thinking patterns. 5. Be creative When negative thoughts come, it can pay to spend some time creatively. Find a creative outlet for your thoughts. Write things out. Draw or paintsomething – even if you have to use a crayon. As long as you’re using your creativity to get your negativity out, it can work. Exploring your emotions through creativity acts like auto-therapy and can elevate your mood. Creativity can feel like a release. When you put your emotions through an art form, you get them out of your system and clear them out. 6. Take a walk Because thoughts arise in the mind, it’s easy to assume that’s where they’re formed. Well, that’s only partly true. Sometimes our thoughts are a product of our environment. For example, if you surrounded yourself with negative people and negative imagery, you’d probably start to think negatively in turn. Stepping away from a negative environment can help immensely. Take a walk alone away from your usual atmosphere. Head somewhere uplifting like a park or museum. Time spent distancing yourself from those negative influences can bring you great peace of mind. 7. Start listing out what you’re grateful for Have you forgotten all the good things you have going for you? Sometimes in the daily grind, we lose focus on all the ways things that are going right in our lives. If that’s you, then you need to re-train your mind to focus on all the good happening around you instead of the bad. List off everything you’re grateful for no matter how small they seem to be. For constipation, drink lots of water, have flax seeds and fibre. You can have caffeine, There’s a reason the evening walk used to be called the daily constitutional. Regular exercise helps your body move food quicker. Aim for a daily walk at the very least. Consult me for same. All the best.

Just exercising in gym will not work for weight gain. You will have to increase your eating capacity slowly. Increase your protein intake. If you go for gym then have bananas before 30 mins of exercise and whey protein immediately after exercise to repair the muscles. Consult with me for a personalised diet plan with results.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. 7. You can take shatavaryadi churn (powder) of baidyanath company 1/2 teaspoon with milk once a day for fastly gain weight. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Hi 1) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice, ginger juice and 1 tsf of jaggery along with 60 ml of water early in the morning on empty stomach and after meals, do this for 30 days, it gives you good result, thanks.

I don't ever feel hungry but I want to eat. I eat every 3 + hours and sometimes I don't even feel hungry but I know I have to feed my body and I do even if I'm not hungry because how else will my body function properly without the food it needs. Will I gain more weight/body fat if I do this?

Hello, You need to listen to your body signals and respect them. Brain has its own coordination to give away signals when you are hungry/full. By force feeding you might develop problems with digestion, weight and imbalances of various nutrients. Take care. And eat only when you are genuinely hungry.

Please get an ecg done to rule out cardiac causes of chest pain. Having done that you can treat your pain easily with analgesics.

Acne is a common skin problem that affects people of all ages. Teenagers suffer the most from acne because of the increased hormone levels in their body. Sleep deprivation, too much stress, unhealthy eating habits and a hectic lifestyles can also cause acne. Acne can appear on the face, chest, back and scalp. Although there is no definitive cure, there are many simple and easy natural cures using common ingredients found in your pantry and refrigerator to prevent or minimize the problem. Orange-peel - the acidic property and high vitamin c present in an orange makes it a perfect remedy for acne. You can use the juice from the orange as well as its peel, but the peel can be more effective. 1. Put orange peel in the sun and let it completely dry out. 2. Grind the dried peel into a powder and add water to make a paste. 3. Apply the paste to the affected area and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash your face with warm water. Aloe-vera - the soothing and anti-inflammatory properties in aloe vera can treat acne in a matter of a few days. Aloe vera gel is also helpful in healing the scars caused by acne. You can buy aloe vera gel from the market or get pure aloe vera gel by cutting a leaf off an aloe vera plant and squeezing the gel from the middle. Apply the aloe vera gel to the affected area twice daily indian lilac, also known as neem, can be used for the treatment of various skin problems. It contains antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that help kill the bacteria that cause acne. Also, it soothes the redness and inflammation of skin breakouts? make a paste of tender indian lilac leaves by adding a little water. Add some turmeric powder to the paste and then apply it on the affected area. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off. Do this at least twice a week? you can also apply neem oil a few times a day until you see improvement. These simple and easy-to-follow natural treatments for acne can solve the problem to some extent. For best results, you must also live a healthy lifestyle. If you cannot successfully treat your acne with these home remedies, you should consult a doctor for treatment consult and ask privetly.
