Dear user I can very well appreciate your concern. As per the symptoms explained it appears that during your accident you also injured your small stabilising ligaments of your joint. The best treatment for that is arthroscopic repair. It is advisable if you can see an orthopedician dealing in sports injuries in you city so that he can examine you and advise accordingly. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. First of all I would like to know whether at the time of initial injury, was there any bony injury like a fracture or was it a soft tissue injury? also please mention the duration of your symptoms. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. I have taken MRI in my neck region and have diagnosed with following, Cervical spondylosis with posterior disc osteophyte complex at c5-6 and central disc protrusion at c6-7. Kindly advise me. I have the pain in my neck region and shoulder too. Some times radiating pain.

Avoid forward bending repeatedly. Do hot water fermentation with added salt in it two times a day. Do back strengthening exercises thrice a day. You may get relief from pain. Your back pain can be treated with homeopathy. Take care.

When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg(s) elevated. Do this a few times a day. Note: Do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite. 2. Massage Massage promotes faster recovery from muscle damage that causes leg pain. 10 minutes of massage therapy attenuates inflammatory signaling after exercise-induced muscle damage. In addition, massage improves blood circulation and helps relieve stress and anxiety. Rub some warm olive, coconut or mustard oil on the affected area. Using gentle yet firm strokes, massage your legs for about 10 minutes. Do this 2 or 3 times daily as needed. You can also use a self-massage device or apply pressure to sore muscles using a tennis ball. Also take Mag phos 12x - twice daily for next 7 days and get back to me

Hi I have recently done with acl reconstruction surgery of my right knee. Its almost more than 2 months ago. I am taking cartigen; calcium k2 & citravite medicines as prescribed by doctor. So can I take calcium & glucosamine & daily tablets of anyway nutrilite instead of that tablets. Or can you suggest any product of amway nutrilite.

I am 26 years female and I have earlier about an year ago Sinus and tonsils problem. Had treatment and Yoga pranayamas at home and is cured for the time being. Consulted doctor repeatedly but haven't find any improvement. Recent about 2 weeks ago changed to another ENT Specialist and had CT Scan. The results said by Dr. are there is no sinus but as the bone which joins with nose iss crossed thus the pressure is applied to side nerves causing pain as migraine and on cheeks. Dr. informed as to go with medicines first if not for surgery for long last relief. Also I have Thyroid for the past 8 years and is now about 1.97 IU/ml and using 100mg from 3 months. Had second opinion too and said same thing to wait for few days. Problem here is when climate changes, I cannot breathe freely, have nose blocks at nights. And the problem will be solved till I use medicine or exercise, again it repeats same. Doest I really need to go for surgery or else I can be cured with medicine? And if the bone is crossed the pain has to appear at one side, but I have pain at cheeks, nose, above eyes and forehead. Please help me out. Thank you.

Yoga, pranayama has cured you once, why do you consult so many specialists and get confused about surgery. I agree with your second doctor that you should wait for few days before you go for surgery. Ct report is bones are overlapping and touching the nerves, causing migraine! wait & watch, there are good medicines for migraine also, carry on with yoga, pranayam + medicines which are safe. Surgery should be last option in your case.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Get vitamin d checked and start with cervical isometric exercises and cold packs. Keep pain killer requirement to minimum, increase the exercises level as per pain tolerance and look at your posture.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hello this addiction cannot be cured in days but it will take months and full commitment from your side. 1. Make friends around your place and go for walk in evening/morning with them. 2. Make reading books a hobby 3. Take rest for 10 minutes after every 1 hour of your work 4. Meditate 5. Start doing yoga but all these things will need full time commitment best of luck.
