In summers - Oil the scalp frequently

Oil your hair as frequently as you can. It moisturizes your hair & uses a gentle shampoo to get rid of the oil. Oiling the scalp is good for your hair.

Love your soft and smooth hair.

Firstly, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin e to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study, applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing. In the study, vitamin e either had no effect or made matters worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin e on the skin developed a contact dermatitis. I am a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in your skin problems reply back for private consultation.

I have suffered from a disease called harpies. Did it will effect me in the future?

MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Mumbai
Herpes is the reactivation of the varicella zoster virus (chicken pox virus). Which lives in the ganglia of sensory nerves and survives life long in the people who have had that illness. Herpes ia a nuisance but it is not life threatening. It can be avoided by avoiding stress, and using cotton underwears as synthetic underwears keep the moisture and air out, slowing the healing process. Wash hands aftre touching the sores as other parts, especially the eyes, when touched with the infected hands can suffer from this diseases.

Sugar and honey to get rid of black head over night from nose and face Procedure to make honey & sugar face pack: Mix enough amount of sugar to honey to create a natural facial scrub. After cleansing the face, use the sugar-honey mix to scrub the nose and other areas of the face where the blackheads are visible. The scrub will remove the dead skin that will permit the blackheads to surface and make it easy to clean. Once your blackheads have surfaced, it is now easier to be removed from the skin. This is an effective way to remove blackheads from nose and face.

Alopecia Areata - Reasons Why People Suffer from it

Alopecia Areata - Reasons Why People Suffer from it

Alopecia areata is a kind of hair loss or male pattern baldness that happens when your immune system starts attacking the hair follicles, which is where the hair growth starts. This is therefore an autoimmune disease. The damage and harm caused to the follicle is usually not permanent. Specialists are still not aware as to why the immune system attacks the follicles.

Alopecia areata generally begins when chunks of hair start falling out, forming thoroughly smooth, round bare patches on the scalp or different regions of the body. Now and again the hair might become thinner without any noticeable bald spots, or it might develop and shed off, leaving small patches. This can lead to permanent balding and may also be a sudden evolution.

The condition takes place when the cells in the hair follicles are attacked by white blood cells, making them contract and drastically slows down the hair growth. It is unknown as to precisely what causes the immune system to attack the hair follicles in such a manner.

However, there are a few ways due to which people can get alopecia areata. They are as follows:

  1. Since the exact cause of the condition is unknown, it regularly happens in individuals who have a family history of other immune system diseases, for example, type 1 diabetes or rheumatoid joint pain.

  2. A few researchers presume that hereditary qualities may add to the advancement of alopecia areata. They additionally believe that specific factors are expected to trigger alopecia areata in individuals who are hereditarily inclined to the disease.

  3. Around 10% of individuals with this condition may never regrow hair. You will probably have irreversible and permanent balding if you have the following:

    • A family history of the condition.

    • The condition appears at a young age (before adolescence) or for longer than a year.

    • Suffering from any other immune system infection

    • Inclined to hypersensitivities (atopy)

    • Have extensive hair loss.

    • Have unusual colour, shape, surface, or thickness of the fingernails or toenails.

In a few people with alopecia areata, the fingernails and toenails start becoming hollowed, that is they look as though a stick had made numerous small dents in them. They may likewise look like sandpaper. People with this condition might suffer from psychological and morale issues as well. Hence, getting tensed about it can aggravate the problem further, causing more hair loss.

Alopecia areata cannot be cured yet. The vast majorities of people who have had one episode might have more episodes of balding. Hence, whenever you feel like you might be showing certain symptoms of hair loss, do get it diagnosed by a specialist, since hair loss is not something that should be ignored, as it may be a symptom of greater lifestyle diseases. If symptoms recur after treatment, go for regular check-ups. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist.
