Take egg, whole pulses, milk and products, soya milk, paneer,lean meat. Do strach exercise alternate days. Take any sweet item after meal. Take milk with jaggery, milk with dates, coconut water. Don't skip your breakfast specially and meals.

Your diet should be rich in proteins and carbohydrates i. E dairy products, non-veg, fruits (banana, dates, mango, anzeer) go for gym for 1 hour everyday. After follow this diet if your weight remain same. It means there is some hormonal imbalance you have to go for some medical test i. E thyroid profile. Insulin fasting insulin pp. Going through these reports I can recommend your diet.

Weight gain is not a single day program.But if you follow these you will be benefited.Do muscle building exercise.It will help to gain weight.Eat more frequently wit extra amount of food.Take cake,pastries,dark chocolate,ice cream.Add ghee,cream,cheese,butter,jam,jelly with food extra.Eat lots of dense fruits,vegetables.Take unrefined food more.Take more protein in diet like fish,egg,lean meat,cottage cheese,mushroom,lentil.Take nuts,seeds more.Use extra fain cooking.Avoid smoking,alcohol.No water just before or during meals.Take proper rest and stay stress free.These will help you.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. This will help improve your appetite and intake. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Start exercise as soon as possible. Swimming, yoga, gym whatever you can. Take warm water after each meal. Avoid oily foods and dairy products till desired weight after that you can take some dairy products for muscular health. Hello, try to be happy always. Do not take tension. Always be positive. In the diet you can eat high calorie, high fat, high protein diet. Also to eat high carbohydrates. Daily12-15 glass of water. Dietary supplement can be given. Food should be appetising. Just enjoy your food.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The iformation given is very little to give any opinion. I need to know full details like fasting, PP & HbA1c%, dietary pattern extent of daily exercise, total medications being taken with exact dosage. Plus please clarify in your "medical conditions" there is a mention as T1 diabetes. If that is the case then how is that you are on Diamicron? Because T1 DM is only treated with Insulin Injection. No other anti diabetic drugs is used. Thanks.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.
