Dear lybrate user, there are so many causes of pimples. In this teenage it's very common. Take care of your diet. Drink plenty of liquids salads fruits. No spice no oil no junk food. Apply lemon juice on your face for five days at night for one hour and wash your face with luke warm water. Do not rub or scratch the acne.

Facial Scrubs - Is Too Much Too Bad?

Everybody is particular about how they look. Skin care has assumed great importance compared to a couple of decades ago. With skin care assuming so much, everybody talks of cleansing, scrubbing, toning, moisturising, what not! What we need to realise is that anything in excess is bad. Talking of scrubbing, it has been promoted as the perfect way to remove dead cells from the skin and keep the skin looking young and radiant. After scrubbing, the skin that is left behind is brand-new with fresh cells from the underlying layers, which glows out. While this is the intention, there are questions to ask in terms of – what to use for scrubbing, how often, ideal products, etc.

Scrubbing can be done chemically or physically. Chemical scrubs include products like salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, or citric acid. These remove the dried, dead cells from the top and leave a radiant, fresh skin behind.

Physical scrubs use salts, almond, apricot peel, and tiny beads of microplastics. These microbeads are not just harmful to the skin, they are also not eco-friendly. Though not visible to the naked eye, these microbeads, as the name suggests, are small, tiny plastic beads which act as a physical scrub and help in removing the top layers of the skin. They get into the water as sediments and cannot be removed. When accumulated over a period of time, there is no way to get rid of them. Many products have been banned in Australia and the USA for containing these microbeads.

Another thing to consider when scrubbing is the type of skin. While oily skin can take a little more of the scrubbing load, dry, flaky skin should not be over-scrubbed. Exfoliating agents can be used once in a while, but if you ask a dermatologist if your skin needs daily exfoliation, the answer would be a big NO. Oily skin can benefit from gel-based scrubs, while dry skin can benefit from cream-based ones. If you have sensitive skin, use a mild exfoliating agent. There are multiple products being promoted as daily scrubs which are easy on the skin, but it is best to stay away from these for regular use.

Alternatively, there are multiple regular home/kitchen products which can be used as scrubs. Gram flour, milk cream, lime juice, sugar, oatmeal, ground coffee can be used periodically to get the same scrubbing effects. What is also important to note is it is not just the face that needs the scrubbing. Surfaces with thicker skin like the knees and elbows also benefit from occasional scrubbing.

The mantra is to not overdo it, but go with moderation and get the benefits of scrubbing with a glowing, radiant skin.

Hi. Let me you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!). Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. Hello lybrate user, bad posture may not cause a deformity or may not even affect your immediate sporting activities. But tends to cause a lot of clinical problems like back pain, slip disc, early degenerative arthritis of the spine, etc. The only solution is to make a conscious effort from your side to sit as straight as possible, not sitting for long times, intermittent rest and stretching when sitting continuously for long periods, use of a chair with good back rest. I would also suggest you to consult a physiotherapist for back strengthening exercises. Hope this helps.

My husband last week experienced tachycardia at rest for consecutive 2 days thereafter we consulted a cardiologist who advised ecg n echo. Which came out normal. He gave him nebistar 2.5 twice daily after that he s feeling less episodes of increased heart rate. Now the doctor is saying to do holter test. When everything is fine. If you want to get rid off this problem naturally, I suggest him to do regular exercises, yoga, pranayamas, regularly.& tell him to quit those smoking alcohol consumption, though less frequently it is. Taking more water, daily minimum 3-4 litres irrespective of his thirst, consuming more raw vegetables,[whatever he can eat. Like carrots, beet roots, lady's fingers, keera etc], fresh all seasonal fruits, sprouts will help keeping general health, take daily 1 glass of lemon juice mixed with honey. 1-2 times/ day. Don't take pickles, spicy, junk, oily, fast food, which will take up to risk of increasing the bad cholesterol levels. Taking 1 litre of water in morning with empty stomach will help maximum to keep all vital organs function well.

bleeding gums are sign of gum infection due to accumulation of plaque on teeth in your case due to braces. use mouthwash twice daily after brushing. maintain proper oral hygiene. gargle forcefully with water after you eat or drink anything.

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Acne - 1. strictly avoid all junks, oily -spicy food, pickles if u r eating, drink lots of water, juices or daily have fresh fruits. try to keep ur bowel clear. regularly wash ur face with any gud herbal face wash. U can apply some home - made mixture like - Besan + Milk and Multani mitti+Rose Water+ milk at night which wud prevent ur pimples. Always cover ur face with piece of cloth or mask when u move out in sun and dust. Always Keep ur Bowel habits normal. Do have gud sleep - atleast 7 hrs a day.....avoid sleeping very late nights. although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. For that u may consult me privately over Lyberate. Please update with ur valuable feedback. HAIRFALL- Start taking black til (Seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Pregnancy depends on a nos of factors like semen results of husband, timing of intercourse, Tubal patency, uterine anatomy and ovulation of female apart from general health factors. Therefore if you are having problems in getting pregnant it is important you get these factors assessed.
