I have a desk job and I want to reduce my belly. What should I do to make six abs?
You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. For a start please follow: 1. Cut down the excess carbs. If you want to lose weight you should start by avoiding sugar and starch (like bread). A low carb diet reduces your hunger and makes it easier to eat less. And it might even increase your fat burning at rest. 2. Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals will not make you lose weight faster. That strategy backfires because your body thinks food is in short supply, so it slows your metabolism in order to conserve energy. Over time, the result is that when you do eat — even if you consume the same foods as always — your body will be slower to use the calories as fuel, thus creating a backlog of unwanted pounds. 3. Stay hydrated. You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. That's because drinking 64 ounces of water daily is one of the easiest ways to speed up weight loss. Your body needs water in order to efficiently metabolize stored fat. When you shortchange your supply, you're likely to slow down that process, meaning it's more difficult for you to burn calories. An easy eight glasses a day (at least!) will keep your system running smoothly. 4. Start exercising. Strength training builds lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories — at work or at rest — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The more lean muscle you have, the faster you'll slim down. How do you start strength training? Try some push-ups or a few squats or lunges. Use your free weights to perform simple biceps curls or triceps pulls right in your home or office. Do these exercises three to four times per week, and you'll soon see a rapid improvement in your physique. 5. Go for an evening walk. An evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips. 6. Take adequate rest. You should also make an effort to get enough good sleep, preferably every night. Strive to wake up refreshed of your own accord, independently of the alarm clock. If you’re the kind of person who always gets brutally woken up by the alarm ringing, you might never be giving your body adequate rest. 7. Supplement vitamins and minerals. Nutrient-dense, good food is certainly the foundation of weight loss. But an adequate amount of vitamin D can be difficult to ingest via food. In the case of a lack of sun (such as during the darker months of autumn and winter), it’s wise to supplement for multiple health reasons – and perhaps even for your weight.

My wife has PCOD and she z 28 years old. Her last LMP is June 2nd. Can she go for follicle scan on June 15th after getting conceived? She is on Gynovit syrup and Premence plus tablets currently. And doctor prescribed duphaston tab from June 16th.

Follicle monitoring is done to find out about the egg status which guides u about your fertile days (exactly when intercourse is required) its of no use after egg rupture s.

Know More About Mastitis!

Mastitis is an infection or inflammation of the breast tissue. It often affects women who are breastfeeding. Mastitis causes breast pain and redness. It can also cause flu-like symptoms such as body aches and fever. Mastitis may develop because of sore, cracked nipples, latch problems, plugged ducts, yeast infection, or inadequate drainage of milk. 

Diagnosing mastitis

These are the most common symptoms of mastitis:  

  • Hot, swollen breasts

  • A red, painful, or hot "wedge-shaped" swelling on a breast, or both breasts

  • A red, painful, or hot lump in your breast

  • Red streaks on your breasts

  • Body aches

  • Chills

  • Fever (oral temperature more than 100.4° F or 38° C)

If you have these symptoms, contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible because you may need treatment for mastitis.

Treating mastitis

Mastitis treatment involves draining the breast and often taking antibiotics. It is especially important to keep the affected breast "empty" through frequent breastfeeding or pumping sessions. If you think a latch problem may have contributed to your mastitis, consider seeing a certified lactation consultant. It is very important to rest and keep hydrated by drinking a lot of clear fluids. You can take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for the fever or discomfort. An antibiotic may be prescribed for 10 to 14 days. Be sure you take all of the medicine or mastitis may come back.  The antibiotics used for mastitis are generally safe to use while breastfeeding.

Hello, Avoid outside and, junk food. Get easy options which do not require extra cooking like cereals, porridges, soups, etc which are home made with minimal efforts. Go for jobs or any activity which will ensure you burn extra calories.. You have to take a conscious effort to ensure weight loss is possible, as you already know your problem.

He may be suffering from osteo arthritis. This is de-generative process of the tissues which occurs in knee joint. Thil Thailam (seseme oil)+ Castor oil mixed and slightly warmed may be applied locally 30 minutes before warm water bath.

Dear Imran, There can be many factors due to which gaining proper weight is difficult. • Genetic • Improper diet. • Over active Lifestyle or high Metabolism. Tips to help you gain weight are:- 1. Increase your carbohydrate content in the once major meals. 2. Increase your snack size. 3. No fluids before and in between of meals. Increase concentrated calories like:- • Nuts and seeds for example: Almonds, peanuts and pumpkin seeds. • Increase your dairy and its products like: cheese and butter • Have short and intense workout instead of lengthy cardio dominated one.
