My penis foreskin is not open when it is erect. Is it a major problem and what should I do.

My penis foreskin is not open when it is erect. Is it a major problem and what should I do.
; hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns, normally the foreskin should move or slide over head of penis, if you find it difficult consult a general surgeon you may need a short course of antibiotics plus pain killers, or small cut. Simple procedure. Called circumcision.

You should get a USG whole abdomen for your abdominal pain to rule out gall stones. For loose stools you should take a high fibre diet for stool complaints. **For complete evaluation and treatment, Kindly visit the doctor in person with all available reports. *This is just an preliminary opinion not to be used for medico-legal purpose.

Mr. lybrate-user, Following are criteria for diagnosing diabetes: 1) Normal: Fasting:70 to 110 mg/ 100 ml, PP <140 mg & HbA1c% <5.9 2) Pre-diabetes: FBS :108 to 125 mg, PP 141 to 199 mg, HbA1c% 5.9 to 6.4. 3) Diabetes: FBS 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c% 6.5 and above. A person with normal glucose level is fine. Nothing needs to be done. In pre-diabetes one can prevent it going over to diabetes by adapting a modified lifestyle- namely regular exercise over 1 hour a day, maintaining normal body weight (BMI <23 kgs/M2) and following healthy habits. No drugs are needed, one can prevent diabetes or postpone it. However, once diabetes is diagnosed (as in your case), there no option but to take drugs to control it. Healthy lifestyle helps in achieving better control along with drugs. Ideally one should maintain FBS below 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Your blood glucose levels are way beyond the normal limit, if not controlled promptly, there is a possibility of developing long term complications associated with diabetes. So please initiate immediate treatment with appropriate drugs. Thanks.

Candid would not work in toe infection .u need gram positive bugs protection not fungus. So use fusidin cream to apply rush to some good surgeon who can do daily dressing and cleaning of infection or pus.

I have chicken pox. My five days of chicken pox had gone. And I am using medicine and a lotion. But they have not yet been cured. Please tell me can I go outside home. And can I eat maize and meat and spices.

I have chicken pox. My five days of chicken pox had gone. And I am using medicine and a lotion. But they have not yet...
Chickenpox is caused by the Varicella Zoster Virus, which is from the family of herpes viruses. The same virus causes Herpes Zoster in adults. It spreads through the respiratory tract which includes mucous membranes of the mouth and the nose. It is an airborne disease and spreads through tiny droplets in the air. These droplets containing the virus come from cough or sneeze of an infected person. It can also spread through contact with the blisters of an infected person. A person can spread the virus even before he himself has developed the full fledged infection. This can happen for a day or two prior to developing the rash. The contagious period remains well through the time when the person has rash till the time all the blisters have formed crusts. There is a prodromal period of about 14-16 days from the infection to the appearance of the symptoms. This means that if someone is infected today, he or she will start getting the symptoms around two weeks after the exposure. One is at a higher risk of getting chickenpox if one has never had it before and also if one has not been vaccinated against it. The most important thing to take care is that one should try to avoid all contact with any infected person. The virus spreads through air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Therefore it is important that one should not be too close to any person who is infected. Any person who is infected should be isolated to the maximum extent possible so that others do not come into contact. Coming into direct contact with the blisters should be strictly avoided. Using or touching clothes or towels of an infected person needs to be completely avoided. The contagious period starts a day or two before a person starts showing the symptoms of the disease and lasts till the eruptions turn into scabs. There are many homeopathic remedies which can help in the treatment of chickenpox. As mentioned earlier, this is a viral infection and allopathic medicines are hardly able to treat this. Homeopathic medicines are very effective in the treatment of chickenpox just like they are effective in the treatment of other viral infections. Homeopathic remedies like Antim Crudum, Dulcamara, Rhus Tox and Merc Sol are very effective in the treatment of Chickenpox. Another little known fact is that Homeopathic medicines are also good prophylactics. This means that they can help prevent you from contracting chickenpox. Oranges and other citrus fruits are excellent for the immune system. It is advisable to have one glass of orange juice daily. One important point to remember is that you should stay away from additives in juices. Natural fruit and vegetable juices are good for you at this time. Fresh vegetables and raw fruits are recommended as well. Herbal teas such as cinnamon, basil and chamomile are good too. Other foods that will help are carrots, cashew nuts, tofu, walnut, egg, ginger, garlic, beetroot, and blueberry and so on. It is also advisable to consume raw organic fruits and vegetables. Foods which contain a lot of water are recommended as well since the body can easily digest such foods and process the nutrients in them. Cucumber, tomatoes, spinach watermelon, kiwi, sprouts, and so on fall into this category of water rich foods. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects.

Hi I have gastric problem. And having very dark yellow urine from last 3 months .there is any serious issue of liver ...
Get a sonography of abdomen and liver function tests to rule out liver and gall bladder problems. The gastric problems must be secondary to liver problems. Till such time you get investigations done, have a low fat diet. Avoid butter, ghee, cheese, bakery products and reduce oil intake in food.

Early stages. You can do diet & exercise without medications during the early stages. This will also delay the requirement for medications. Repeat sugars after 2 months of regular diet and exercise and if controlled, continue the same with regular 3 month follow up

There are so many rashes on her back and stomach. What should she do to avoid further rashes?

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
There are so many rashes on her back and stomach. What should she do to avoid further rashes?
Skin rashes can occur from a variety of factors, including infections, heat, allergens, immune system disorders and medications. One of the most common skin disorders that causes a rash is atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema. Atopic dermatitis is an ongoing (chronic) condition that causes itchy, inflamed skin. Most often it appears as patches on the face, neck, trunk or limbs. Avoiding harsher soaps and detergents or other irritants, can lessen symptoms or reduce the risk of flare-ups. Medicated creams or ointments can also be prescribed by me after due recall of your medical history. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

MD - Pathology

its not a question of what he feels about his sugar . get his hba1c levels done .this will tell regarding his blood sugar levels over a span of 3 months. if this level falls in range of good control then you can think of gradually reducing the dose with regular blood tests to check his response

Keeping Your Toothbrush Clean

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
Keeping Your Toothbrush Clean
Good Toothbrush Hygiene is as important as maintaining a good Oral Hygiene. Here are few ways to make sure your toothbrush is truly clean:

Don’t share toothbrushes. Using someone else’s toothbrush exposes you to another person’s body fluids and potential germs, which could make you sick. People with compromised immune systems or who are sick with something they could pass on to another person should take special care to use only their own toothbrush.

Rinse your toothbrush after brushing. Give it a thorough washing to remove any leftover toothpaste or debris.

Store your toothbrush in an upright position. When you’re done brushing, try to store it standing straight up and allow it to air-dry until your next brushing. If there’s more than one brush in the same holder, try to keep them as separate as possible to prevent cross-contamination.

Keep your toothbrush out in the open. Do not routinely cover toothbrushes or store them in closed containers. A moist environment, such as a closed container, is more conducive to the growth of bacteria than the open air.

Replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months. Bristles that become frayed and worn with use and will be less effective at cleaning teeth. Children’s toothbrushes often need replacing more frequently than adult brushes.

Hello, Calorie calculations vary from person to person, its not the same of everyone. Lunch and dinner calories do differ. In the ideal scenario, dinner should be the lightest meal of the day but it should not be devoid of carbohydrates. Rice or roti both have almost same carbohydrate contents its just that the other nutrient profile changes. verdict,it s just not what ypu consume its also about how much do you consume.
