Hello lybrate-user: if you not getting proper sleep, please just follow this small exercise: sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall, straight upwards and making 90 degree angle with wall for 10 mins. This will make you sleepy within 7-8 mins and your headache will also be relieved.

Best Way to Relieve from Constipation

1. Eat more fibre

‘It is recommended you have 25 to 50 grams of fibre a day,’foods with lots of fibre include cereals such as wheat germ and bran, whole-wheat and rye flours, grainy breads, fresh fruit (especially berries), dried fruits such as prunes and figs, vegetables, and legumes such as chickpeas, lentils and beans. Increase fibre intake gradually to avoid getting gas or diarrhea, or worsening constipation.

 

2. Exercise regularly

Aim to be physically active at least three times a week for 30 minutes or more. Physical activity stimulates your intestinal muscles to work more efficiently. It also decreases the amount of time needed for food to move through your intestines, so stools stay moist.

 

3. Drink lots of water

Eight glasses of water a day. Water lubricates the intestines and also moistens the food you eat, aiding its flow through your body.

 

4. Lose the stress

‘Psychological stress has a huge effect on bowel function. ‘we say the bowel is the little brain of the human body. The brain and bowel are highly interconnected.’ bowel movements depend on intricate signalling between the gut and the brain. When the brain is under stress, the bowel is, too. People who are stressed are less likely to exercise and eat nutritious foods.

 

5. Stick with a regular routine

Bowel movements occur according to the body’s internal ‘clock.’ when you ignore the urge to go to the bathroom, there’s more time for water to be extracted from the stools into the body, making them harder to pass. (one idea: give yourself enough time to make bowel movements part of your morning at-home routine.)

 

6. If necessary, use laxatives, but don’t overdo them

Most over-the-counter products are safe to use, as long as you follow package directions. But overuse can make the bowel lazy. For occasional help, there are several laxatives to choose from: bulk-forming osmotic laxatives, help fluids to flow, and stimulate muscles that aid in digestion. Stimulant laxatives, cause muscle contractions in the intestines that are needed to get things moving, and should be used sparingly. At-home enemas can be used in cases of acute constipation. Suppositories may also help.

 

7. Be prepared for travel

Drinking lots of water and, when eating out, choosing menu items with fruit and vegetables in them. Pack high-fibre foods. And take your running shoes with you, so you can be sure to get that crucial exercise.

I am having pain in right lower abdomen, I have done health checkup from repudiated hospital in Mumbai including sonography nothing was detected, however Uric acid was somewhat high, Hence Family Physician prescribed Feburic40 for 3 month subsequent to the course the Uric Acid level was normalized. Hi, It would have been beneficial if you had told us since how long you are having this pain. I am assuming your stools are normal and regular. There are a few causes of right lower abdominal pain: 1) Chronic appendicitis / Grumbling appendicitis 2) pain due to hernia 3) muscle strain 4) Abscess in the lower abdomen or upper thigh area. Solution: please consult a surgeon for further assessment. You may need a CT as ultrasound sometimes is not the best investigation. Hope this message helps you. Thank you.

Believe me, if you are happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 ? a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet (for glowing skin): -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Diet (for acidity): As long as you are consuming a healthy, nutritious diet, you can be assured that your body?s pH levels are within limits. However, this can be a problem for people who are not used to eating healthy and are used to ingesting large quantities of food with a predominantly acid content. Such individuals need to clearly identify the foods that are acidic in nature and restrict their consumption. Here is a list of foods that are acidic in nature followed by a list of foods that are alkaline in nature. Practically it is not possible, nor healthy, to consume just alkaline foods. However, if you do suffer from high levels of acid in your blood, you should make an effort to ensure that most of your food choices come from the list of alkaline foods. Acidic Foods to Avoid Meat. All forms of animal protein are acidic in nature. Most American diets involve large helpings of meat, and this is one of the reasons for the burgeoning obesity and ill health. Try to gradually cut down on your consumption of meat. To make up for the protein deficit, you should look to vegetable sources of protein that are alkaline in nature. Dairy Products. Dairy products such as butter, processed cheese, and ice cream are also acidic in nature. To get your daily intake of calcium, it is a good idea to opt for a chilled glass of skim milk instead. Vegetables. Vegetables such as legumes and beans are also acidic in nature. Lentils, corns, winter squash and olives also increase the acidity of the blood. Grains. Many of the whole grains such as wheat, rye, barley, and oatmeal are also acidic in nature. However, the nutritional benefits of consuming whole grains far outweigh the effect that they have on blood acidity Fruit. Most berries, plums, prunes, and currants are also acidic in nature and should be avoided if your body?s acid levels are high. Beverages. Beverages such as beer, coffee, and sodas are also acidic in nature. Alcohol and tobacco. Alcohol and tobacco are not only bad for you, but they also increase the acidity levels of the body and should be avoided. Miscellaneous. Some other acidic foods to avoid include sugar, mustard, vinegar, sunflower oil, olive oil, sesame oil, canola oil, and peanut butter. Alkaline Foods Protein Sources. As all animal sources of protein are acidic in nature, it is important to seek vegetarian protein sources that are alkaline in nature. Some of the best vegetarian sources of alkaline protein include tofu, whey protein, millets, almonds, and chestnuts. Vegetables. Other vegetables that are alkaline in nature include alfalfa, beet, broccoli, carrots, cabbages, celery, cauliflower, cucumber, eggplant, garlic, peas, lettuce, mushrooms, onions, peppers, pumpkins, spinach, tomatoes, and wheat grass. Fruits. Most fruit are alkaline in nature, except for the fruits mentioned in the list above. Do note that even citrus fruits have an alkaline effect on the body. Miscellaneous. Other alkaline food sources include stevia (a sugar substitute), fresh juices, water, spices, herbs, and ginger. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night.
