MBBS, MD Psychiatry, DNB Psychiatry

Migraine at 26 years of age can be disturbing. The mainstay in treatment of migraine is treatment of acute stage headaches and prevention of further attacks. To prevent further attacks you need a course of prophylactic medicines to be taken regularly fir at least 12-16 weeks and tapered gradually. Also associated problems like stress, sleep disorders, menstrual problems, anxiety and depression also need to be treated. If you are done with all this and still have uncontrolled migraine, please get back to me with details of medicines you had so far so that we can work out a remedy for your problems take care.

Sir I'm suffering from night fall from 4-5 days daily wat I do plan suggest, I'm a hotelier doing night job.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Sir I'm suffering from night fall from 4-5 days daily wat I do plan suggest, I'm a hotelier doing night job.
Dear lybrate user, first of all let me make it clear that you may experience nightfalls for twice in a month if you do not have a habit of masturbation or if you do not indulge in any sexual intercourse. However, if you experience nightfalls for more than twice in a month then it is surely abnormal. Every person experience an erection after a sleep of 6-8 hours. Such an erection during waking up from sleep is a typical characteristic of normal sexual system. An uninterrupted sleep of 6-8 hours pacifies the nerves which get hyper-activated after a long day's work & results in a sexual arousal by channelising the blood flow towards the male sexual system. But an erected penis cannot ejaculate involuntarily unless it is being rubbed as it undergoes during masturbation & sexual intercourse. Involuntary ejaculation of semen indicates that the internal muscles of your pelvic region are not strong enough to control the outflow of semen. However, nightfalls indicate that you are having a normal erection as well as it also proves that there is no deficit of sperm production in testis. Nightfall implies that there is only loss of control of the pelvic muscles. It is often observed that an unmarried person suffering from nightfalls complains of premature ejaculation after marriage if his problem of nightfalls is left untreated. The cause behind such quick discharge during sex is same as it is in case of nightfalls i. E. Loss of the control of the muscles of pelvic region. To get rid of nightfalls carry on the following medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic nux vomica 30, thrice daily, in empty stomach. 2) take 30 drops of homoeopathic mother tincture ashwagandha q in a cup of water daily after lunch apart from medicines you could try a home therapy. Soak 5 grams of fennel seeds (snouff) & 5 grams of rock candy (misri) in a glass of water before going to bed daily. On waking up next morning drink the snouf-misri soaked water in empty stomach.

I am 16 years old I had over sweating and oily face. What can I do for that?

BHMS
Homeopath,
I am 16 years old I had over sweating and oily face. What can I do for that?
Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub at least once a week on your nose.

What are the DO's and DON'Ts to be taken care of immediately before and after having meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast) Please guide me,

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
What are the DO's and DON'Ts to be taken care of immediately before and after having meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast)...
Healthy eating habits go further than just food. What we do directly after we eat can have an adverse effect on our bodies. These habits may not seem harmful, but can cancel out all of the clean eating we’ve been doing. Here are some post-meal do’s and don’ts that will help you optimize your digestive system and allow you to look and feel better. DON’T Drink Tea Some people like a cup of tea right before or right after dinner with dessert. The high acidity of the tea leaves though affects your digestive system. Acid will harden any protein from your meal and make it very difficult to digest; it also decreases the amount of iron your body will absorb. If you’d like to have a post-meal cup of tea, wait at least an hour after dinner to allow for digestion. DO Drink Water Drinking water before a meal can help you feel fuller and therefore eat less. It will also help your digestive system by breaking down food and absorbing nutrients and softening your stool to prevent constipation. DON’T Go to Sleep When people are trying to lose weight, they’re advised not to eat too close to bedtime. When we sleep, our bodies don’t digest food properly. Sleeping on a full stomach can lead to a not-so-great snooze and leave you feeling full and groggy. DO Go For a Walk Health experts advise against a brisk walk or exercise right after a meal, since your blood will flow away from your stomach and hinder digestion. Taking a moderate walk after a meal though will burn up the sugar in your blood and prevent it from turning into fat. DON’T Eat Fruit with Your Meal Fruit is made up of simple sugars that are easily broken down by your stomach acid. Most fruits are also high in nutrients like vitamin C and potassium. Eating fruit, however, along with any other type of food, can hold up your intestines and cause the other contents in your stomach to spoil. Breakfast time is the best time to enjoy some fruit, but be sure to wait at least an hour before ingesting any other food. DO Improve Your Posture You’ve probably heard this a hundred times from your mother or other relatives. Bad posture can lead to not only back problems, but intestinal issues as well. When you slouch, your internal organs get squished and prevent you from digesting your food. Sit or stand up straight after your meal to improve the flow of digestion. DON’T Bathe Bathing is great in general. Bathing right after a meal though will direct blood flow away from your stomach the way exercise does, and slow your digestion system.

Hello- Unlike modern science Ayurveda strongly oppose masturbation as excessive masturbation will definitely leads towards loss of vitality and can be the reason of any serious disease in the future. Semen is the utmost precious thing in the body which is responsible for internal immunity. The whole life revolves around semen (according to ayurveda), so in any circumstances it can not be wasted. Your mental symptoms are due to this reason only. Start ayurvedic aphrodisiacs, it will improve your condition and you will feel fresh and healthy as before.
