Hello Dr, I have a right hand side foot swelling due to blood clot underneath, so I could not walk freely what is to be done? the reason for blood clot in the foot due to 2wheeler vehicle fall and vehicle rested on the right foot. No other damages, thank god. Just 2 days happened.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. As you have written that the injury is only 2 days old, we need to rule out whether there is any bony injury or not and that can be confirmed by x ray. If there is no bony injury, then you should put crepe bandage with limb elevation. Intensive ice packs should be done at home. Local analgesic spray like dynapar qps can be used for local application after ice fomentation so that swelling and pain reduces. You can also take a gentle anti inflammatory medication for pain relief, medication to reduce swelling like chymoral forte may also be used depending upon the clinical condition. If you can send me your clinical pic, the I can see it and advise you accordingly. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

Hi Sir, I am 27 years old and every time when I go to toilet, I feel very severe Constipation. Please tell me what to do. My gallbladder was removed.

PGD Maternal Child Health, MBBS
General Physician, Akola
Bile secretions are helpful in the peristaltic activity of the intestinal tract. Removal of gall bladder now deprives the lumpsum volumes of bile so a slow down of intestinal movement may be a contributory cause of constipation. You must eat fiber rich diet, avoiding high fat intake. Regular exercise help in toning up of abdominal muscles and intra abdominal movement of digested food to the other end. Drink plenty of water. This should help in having normal motions.

I am suffering from fever last 3 days I have also taken medicine for that but fever can not go what I can do?

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
Please take rhus tox 200 - thrice daily for next 3-4 days. Also -- soak a washcloth in cool tap water wring out the excess water and then sponge areas like your armpits, feet, hands and groin to reduce the temperature. Also, you can place cold, damp washcloths on your forehead and the back of your neck. The cloth pieces should be changed regularly after a few minutes. This remedy is beneficial when dealing with a high fever as it helps keep temperature under control. You can also take a bath in lukewarm water to relax your body. Taking a shower, however, may not be a good idea. Plus, needless to say, take as much rest as possible as it helps the body fight the illness. Note: do not use very cold water as it may cause the internal body temperature to increase. Consult me for homeopathic treatment.

Hi i am 33 years old male. I am getting so much of sweat from my palm, arm and toes at any time and any season. I had consulted with doctors 4-5 times but the result is same. Please tell me what should I do for this.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi. Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. It can be associated with a significant quality of life burden from a psychological, emotional, and social perspective. Hyperhidrosis can either be generalized, or localized to specific parts of the body. Hands, feet, armpits, and the groin area are among the most active regions of perspiration due to the high number of sweat glands in these areas. When excessive sweating is localized (e. G. Palms, soles, face, underarms, scalp) it is referred to as primary hyperhidrosis or focal hyperhidrosis. Excessive sweating involving the whole body is termed generalized hyperhidrosis or secondary hyperhidrosis. It is usually the result of some other, underlying condition. The cause of primary hyperhidrosis is unknown, although some physicians claim it is caused by overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. Anxiety or excitement can exacerbate the condition for many sufferers. A common complaint of patients is they get nervous because they sweat, then sweat more because they are nervous. Other factors can play a role, including certain foods and drinks, nicotine, caffeine, and smells. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine- silicea 30 and bacopa monierri 1x - both thrice daily for 4 weeks. Yoga: there are few yoga poses which helps in calming your mind and relieves stress, but first learn these under a qualified yoga-teacher as many poses are prohibited in certain diseases or medical conditions! -practice shavasana or corpse pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. -anuloma involves inhaling through both nostrils together and exhaling each breath alternately between the left and right nostrils. The thumb of the right hand is used to manipulate the right nostril, while the pinky and ring finger are used to control the left nostril.

I have too much cold in winter days because of cold I have not to concentrate on my studies I am a student please contact me.

M.Sc - Psychology
Psychologist,
Hello lybrate-user, welcome to lybrate. Com I can understand your concerns. As you suffer from cold you find it hard to concentrate on studies. It's common to feel that way alternatively you can approach a holistic method of moving you up. Try to take preventive home remedies before winter season so that you are less affected. Also try to motivate yourself by doing small tasks one at a time as you are finding it difficult to focus on the whole. Also join some yoga and exercise classes as it will help to build strong immunity to fight with the viral attacks as well as motivate you to feel active. All the best.
