I am doing sitting job and whenever I stand up from my seat then my left heal and part of upper gets pain while standing and walking. My height is 5.7 and weight is 97 kg which is very over weight. Reducing weight by exercise, diet restriction. Lifestyle change etc. Otherwise it will cause other problems apart leg pain. Anyway do this simple exercise during your work. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hello doctor I am 20 yrs, since 8th months my right hip was paining while sleeping and riding scooty so doctor suggested me to go for MRI ,during mri of my hips I was trying to straightening my hips and doing some little movements so my question is these movements enough to loss information by the mri machine? Can it loss some information if there is existence of tumor or cancer?

Small movements made usually doesn't result in data loss. The machine is automised to compensate for it and if it can't will alert the technician who will redo that area if required. If you are still doubtful you can speak once with reporting radiologist.

Hi thanks for your query. It' s difficult to say what can be the cause of single finger pain after every 15 days, but usually these symptoms can be due to either tendinitis or nerve impingement somewhere. You should get your calcium & vitamin d levels tested so that I can see and advise accordingly. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. In avoid exercise at that time tk relaxation treatment so do physiotherapy treatment for few days after this automatic you can do all spine extension exercise easily.

Hello Lybrate uses .u haven't got any relief by medicine because reason behind might be your posture, your type of job in bad posture .improve your posture, sit and stand straight, keep a pillow behind your lower back and chair in order to support lower back and keep back straight n maintain that lordotic. Curve of spine .do regular breaks in between work .do stretching exercise in breaks. Also can apply ice packs locally. If further help required .do visit a qualified physiotherapist near by you, he will explain all things. Regards & thanks.

My friend is 28 years old and married. He was having a lower abdominal and backpain for which doctor asked him for an appendicitis surgery. During a rapid test he came out with a positive HIV -1. Apart from his wife he never had sex with Anyone else in his life. Neither he nor his wife has any symptoms of hiv. Is it a matter to be worried upon? If you see any swelling or redness do cold water fermentation for 20 mins with certain intervals. Lf no swelling is present do hot water fermentation for 20 mins. Move your foot actively inside the water bath. Then gently start doing ankle stretch exercises and revert back.

Cold be premenopausal symptom? anyway rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.
