For a glowing skin I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

These are causes of dark circles : • Due to low Hb ( Anaemia ) • Stress • Due to lack of sleep • Due to excessive consumption of caffeine • Due to lack of proper diet or malnutrition Follow these methods & instructions to clear dark circles : • Take 6 to 8 hrs sleep regularly . • Drink 8 glass of water daily. • Apply piece of cucumber on your both eyes . That has bleaching property. • Apply almond oil or you can apply capsule of vitamin E mix it in mosturiser or cream you have daily around the eye in night and massage it lightly daily . • Take a piece of potato and make it's juice by crush it apply its juice for 15 min daily . • Apply rose water daily for 10 min daily . • Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric ( haldi ) with one teaspoon of besan mix it with water and make paste apply it around eyes for 10 minutes and make it dry remove it . • Eat green leafy vegetables daily and fruits daily . Drink a glass of milk daily . • Do not take stress do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes . You can consult me privately for your doubts & detailed treatment.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Hello, reducing weight in 30's is not as easy as it used to be in early days. I see your height and weight provided here, they show that your weight is perfect. -target how many kgs or inches you need to reduce. -make a weight and measurement chart for comparing. -start now, don't wait. -make a diet chart with all the healthy foods everyday, it should have less calories and no fats.(cut down your current diet by 25% flat) -start working out for 45 minutes daily. (any activity that you prefer, jog/brisk walk/yoga/gym/sports anything but do it for 45 mins.) you an make your own diet plan weekly. (it should not exceed 1500 calories a day, if your body allows).

Hello, take triphla churan at night with semi hot water drink any fruit juice n vegetable soup twice a day use face wash gel n aloevera calendula cream 3 times a day (bakson pharma) / mix milk n rose water into pure chandan powder, make a paste n apply at bed time n wash with semi hot water in morning stay healthy.

First of all you should continue thyroid drugs and ensure that it is controlled. Weight gain is another problem that causes mens irregularities. So, your first treatment is in your hand- weight loss, weight loss and weight loss (diet and exercise). Some of my patients are doing very well simply by weight loss without any drugs. If despite weight loss (when you are sincerely trying), the problem persists, you should take drugs after consulting doctors

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of excess protein in our diet. Many people replenish the demand of extra protein by taking protein supplements. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. Body-builders take supplements according to a fixed schedule. They take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. They take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again they take 40 grams of whey just after finishing workout. Now you are a normal person & unless you have any intention to compete in bodybuilding competition you do not need to follow the above timings of whey protein. In fact you can get the extra protein from your diet only. Try to take 50- 70 grams of protein daily. That would be sufficient for your daily need. Excess protein produces excess harmful urea. Our kidney has to function more to excrete this excess harmful urea from our body. So excess protein creates excess pressure on our kidneys. For better reasons try to take protein from plant origin. Protein obtained from animal sources like meat & egg are found to play an important role in cancer. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

1. Eat well – Take a balanced Diet comprising of 45% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 25% fat, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Don’t over eat. Avoid junk, spicy, oily, high calorie, cholesterol rich diet don’t skip your breakfast. Take warm, homemade food. Avoid food and drink from outside. Don’t skip or postpone your meal. Minimize consumption of refined grains like white rice, white bread, sugary or refined food. 2. Keep hydrated- Drink 2 liters /8-10 glasses of water daily 3. Do regular exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/Jugging etc 4. Take adequate rest- 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 5. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation etc 6. Find time for relaxation and enjoyments with friends and family 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control emotion, improve concentration and relieve stress 8. Avoid smoking, consumption of tobacco and Alcohol 8. Develop hobby, Learn new skill 9. Go for detail Annual Health check up.

You can control cholesterol / hdl / ldl/t.g. and obesity by using following flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take . green veg., whole grain foods, spicy foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Low sugar foods, low calories foods. Change own life style . do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily in morning and evening, do any one physically activity daily i.e. play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, alcohol,smoking, fatty foods, non-veg., avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protect from heart fail during sleep at night.

dear lybrate user systemic changes in ur lifestyle can cure ur problem.sleep is one among three basic needs after diet and lifestyle. you can follow remedies explained here. -do some light exercises in the evening but not the late evening. -drink baffalow milk as it has natural sleep inducing factors like tryptophan. -take a long,nice warm bath before bed. -keeep repetitive works which calm your mind like reading books,chanting etc -make regularity in ur daily happenings like sleeping,eating,working,exercises. -keep bedroom comfort and fresh. -practice yoga and meditation. ayurvedic medicines like nidrodaya ras,ashwagand, can be taken to induce the sleep.

Ive had insomnia since 8 days ago. I have small amounts of sleeping and when im falling asleep my heart shake got impulse or something. Im scary of that. You are having tachycardia while you are trying to sleep due to which you are worried too much. You may be a type a type of personality. Too ambitious and aggressive type one way it is not bad. You may be having stress and strain and anxiety neurosis. Duebtonwhich you are having all these symptoms. So try to think rationally. Go slow and have some meditation. If possible. Go morning walk followed by free hand exercises. And take plenty of homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. And you may get your blood pressure checked up preferably basal bp. It will be ok.

Suffering from stomach pain and suddenly will feel weak and feel of just sleeping and doing nothing.Vit D was low.Taking tablets for the same.Vit b12, other blood reports, Sonography reports are normal.Antral erosions found in endoscopy.Treated fr the same.I am taking outside food. When i am in mumbai i don't feel this pain.But when i am in bangalore within 2-3 days, i start feeling weak and along with that the empty stomach feeling with pain. What should i do?

What is your Age? Are you strictly Vegetarian? Vit D and B12 is latest gimmick in medical world. Many in the medical world still believes it has no extra relevance with that was known decades ago. For normal health, Healthy food and exercise do not require any extra supplementation. Your Dietary calcium, Vit D and Vit B12 is enough unless you are above 40 or suffering from any disease, as your investigation report suggests you are otherwise healthy. Till date, when I am writing this essay, scientific doctor's forum could not define what is normal level of Vit D! Only endocrinologists has taken a arbitrary level of 30 mg as the lower value in the blood beyond which they recommend supplement. FDA has not yet approved any level. Do blood test at random among all healthy individual you shall get 90 out 100 is having low level but they are healthy. Even its role in Heart disease has also been questioned. You have not mentioned your age weight etc. Is Bangalore your work place? Do you change your food habit after coming to Bangalore? How ever it appears from report you are having Antral gastritis. This is not so uncommon in young individual who are very ambitious, having irregular diet habits, keeping long time in empty stomach, burn night candle regularly, drinking Tea / Coffee in empty stomach, smoking, tobacco chewing etc. Your logical treatment as per your investigation report, as I feel is following: 1) Lansoprazole 30 mg - 1 cap daily at morning in empty stomach for 2 months then reduce to Lansoprazole 15 mg daily for minimum 6 months, 2) Domperidone 10 mg - 1 tab thrice daily in empty stomach for 20 days, then twice daily same way for 1 month, Then 1 tab at morning along with Lansoprazole for 1 month then stop Take food timely, do not remain in empty stomach for long time, take some biscuit if delayed for your schedule food. Avoid chili or very hot food or drink, or fast food, oily food for about a month. Avoid any short of pain killer. Stop and quite smoking if you are a smoker. Quite any short of tobacco habit.
