My sister is 25 years old has motion problem she is bleeding during motion after consulting Dr, they has said less fibre content in her body. She is taking fruits and drinking lots of water inspite of that she is not getting motion freely. So, please help her to recover from bleeding.

You have not mentioned if she has pain while passing stool, find out if she is afraid of passing stool because of pain, if that be the case she most probably has a fissure in ano, which requires anal dilatation under general anesthesia, if fissure is ruled out by proctologist, she needs to have bowel training, find out if she is used to consume cathartics like laxative tablets or medicines in such situations she has to be weaned off from such medications gradually as she becomes dependent. In case she is employed and toilet facilities are not available at the place of work she should change her job, she should quit the habit of voluntarily preventing herself from relieving/ or emptying her bowels.

Well, it's good that you have limited your alcohol consumption to the minimum. Alcohol and isoniazid do not react well when taken together. Alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage with isoniazid. Those who are on isoniazid are advised to abstain from alcohol as they may have unpleasant side effects. Once the drug is stopped you will not have these symptoms after alcohol consumption.

I am 36 years with average weight of 74 kg and do regular exercise. 3 months ago I had anxiety attacks and that followed with hyperacidity and than since I had stop my beer habit, I went into mild depression. All this happened in the last three months. But the most I am worried about is acidity and Gas. Because I took three Ecgs as my chest was in pain. But doctors ruled out any heart issues. Now again I am in trouble with the chest burn and that radiation goes to my left shoulder to my left wrist sometimes. But when I have a deep burp it kind of relaxes. Is it all related or I should be worried about any heart issues. How should I get treated ?

Anand, Anxiety is defined as chronic worry about something which may or may not happen in future. Anxiety and acidity are relatives and they usually stay together. Three ECGs were taken and you are cleared of any heart related problems. Then you should stop worrying about your heart. I advise you to take garlic pearls one pill morning and night after meals. I also request you to post a private question to me with as many details and symptoms as possible. I am happy to help. Take care.

1. Masturbation is a natural habit in both the genders during their life time. Continuous masturbation in men will certainly leads to unwanted curvature of penis and in women clitoris looses its sensitivity due to rough use of their fingers on clitoris. 2. Later they may not get normal pleasure or orgasm in intercourse (thrust of penis) after their marriage. 3. Masturbation once a week is fine but do not make it your habit.

How to Naturally Treat and Prevent Insect Bites Using Ayurveda

Insect bites occur when an insect stings the upper layer of your skin externally. They generally lead to an allergic reaction or transfer of pathogens like virus, bacteria or parasites in the human body. Insect bites can be of many types since there are numerous species of insects around us. Some of the bites that you will come across more often are by mosquitoes, spiders, bee stings, bugs, mites, ants and such others. The most common symptoms of an insect bite include redness, swelling, irritation or discomfort, itching, itchy skin, and such others.

An insect bite is most commonly treated by using allopathic medicines which can be either applied externally or consumed orally to minimize allergic reactions. But Ayurveda gives you a method to treat insect bites which are natural, harmless and free from side effects. Some of the common ways to treat insect bites following the principles of Ayurveda are:

  • Basil leaves and turmeric- If you take a handful of basil leaves, add turmeric to it and apply it on the insect bite, it acts as an antiseptic and prevents your wound from worsening.
  • Onion application- Onions are specifically used to treat bee stings. You need to take out the sting, apply onions on the affected area and hold them in position using a bandage or a tape for at least an hour to get relief.
  • Turmeric and sandalwood- You can use turmeric and sandalwood to soothe your wound as sandalwood has certain cooling properties, and turmeric will help in speeding up the healing process.
  • Banana peel- The inner skin of a banana peel is used as an anti-irritant and it helps to cut down the discomfort, pain and irritation.
  • Neem- Neem is a medicinal plant, which has one of the highest medicinal values among all the Ayurvedic agents. It is often applied to the wound in the form of powder mixed with water.
  • Coriander- The juice from coriander leaves is also used to cure wounds. Depending on the thickness, it can be used along with water to provide relief to insect wounds.

Conclusively, it is always desirable to consult an Ayurvedic medical practitioner before applying the natural agents on sensitive body parts such as the skin.
