Mam, Definitely you need surgery for complete tear MCL. Without MCL reconstruction you may damage your knee joint even more. Moreover since medial patellar retinaculum is torn too this may lead to lateral subluxation of patela. So I would suggest you to immediately consult orthopedic surgeon else more damage may occur. After that you need intensive Physiotherapy. I hope I helped you. THANK YOU!

TIPS FOR PROPER SLEEP:: 1.Have a glass of whole milk (without the cream removed) with green cardamom powder before going to bed. 2.Have 1 teaspoon of licorice root powder with a glass of milk on an empty stomach in the morning. 3.Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. 4.Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. 5. Take light meals at night and drink 10-15 glasses of water daily. 6.Stop using gadgets 1 hr before sleep.switch off lights at 11:00 pm. 7. Sleep in total dark room. 8.Add some fresh rose petals in a cup of boiling water. Keep it aside till it is lukewarm. Add ½ teaspoonful of sugar to it and have this twice a day. This is a good drink to uplift mood. 9.Do yoga daily 30 min n shavasana daily 5 min before sleep.... Do deep breathing for 2-3 min after every 1 hr.... 10. Take 2 tab stresswin at night with milk for 5 days ONLY.

For neck pain do neck exercise and keep your sitting posture comfortable while working and I will suggest you to start taking tablet folvite once a day for six months for your immunity.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of pain in shoulder region but you are very young and should not be having persistent pain. Is it one shoulder or both which are affected? apart from pain, do you also have stiffness in the affected joints, skin redness or any other s/s of inflammation like swelling, local warmth etc? is there any previous h/o injury to the affected shoulder also? please send me the relevant investigations and treatment taken till now. Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. Take 1 teaspoon each of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in 2 cups of water, boil and reduce it to one cup and drink it daily in the morning . Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cumin on a sliced banana. Eat at night regularly.

Sleep only for 2 hours is too inadequate for anyone. You definitely need to consult a doctor for your problems at your earliest. Consult a psychiatrist with any brain scans done earlier.

Check b.p. Cbc and hba1c. Chikangunia take time. Take plenty of fluids. Control your sugar and take tab. Dolo 650 three times a day for pain.

Hello, many people who work in night shifts usually get disturbed sleep pattern. You should not be worried and set a proper routine of your sleep means fix your sleeping hours. Take kali phos 6x, 5 tabs once daily half an hour before you sleep. Take care.

Hi,pain may be due to soft tissue injury. For pain take cold water fomentation for 20 minutes thrice a day for 5 days. Do stretching and gentle massage of hand. If still you don't get relief then get it xray done and consult me via lybrate.

I am suffering from itching since one year. I consulted many doctors and used many medicines but no use. The itching subsides when I am on medicines but return when the medicines are over. It usually takes 3 months for bones to unite. You should take the help of a physiotherapist to to start walking with the help of walker. Let the operating surgeon supervise the whole project.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

You can try taking calcium & vit d tablets for the same. Try a pain killer for the time being along with calcium & vit d. Once the pain has settled continue with calcum & vit d.

Di you have any lower back pain with referred pain to hip region, any other associated symptoms like numbness, paresthesias or weakness in limbs etc? please send me x ray pelvis with both hips-ap so that I can see how your hip joint looks like. Also is there any restriction of movements at hip joint as well? you can start with: - physical therapy of hip and lower back with your physiotherapist - daily walks for 2-3 km per day - short course of any anti-inflammatory medication which suits you and let me know in 2-3 weeks time how you are feeling about your pain? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
