It is a growing concern that today even kids as young as ten years old suffer from #graying of #hair. It was a very rare phenomenon even a few years ago but it is increasing every day. #stress.
Today even children are not out of bounds of #stress and hence #graying of #hair starts as early as in a ten year old. But to prevent #graying of #hair you have to know about it a little. Hence read on to know more.
Every #hair #follicle has #melanocytes, which are hair pigmentation producing cells. When a hair #strand grows out of a #hair #follicle, #melanocytes inject #melanin into the #strand that makes the #hair colored. Usually with age, the #melanocytes slowly stop producing the #melanin, thus making the hair #strands turn first #gray and then white. But due to some reasons like some kinds of illness or #stress or lack of proper #nutrition, the #melanocytes might stop producing enough #melanin before time. This is what causes #premature graying of hair.
The kind of illnesses that might cause #premature #graying of #hair includes #hyperthyroidism, #hormonal #imbalances, #hypothyroidism, #pernicious #anemia and so on. It can also be caused by excessive damage to the #hair that happens from the effect of using chemical #dyes frequently, keeping the #scalp unclean and effect of some high dosage drugs. Since the reasons of #premature #graying of #hair are varied, it is suggested that for treatment you consult a good #trichologist first before trying anything for yourself. For one thing using dyes that contain #ammonia to color your hair would be a mistake that would further aggravate the problem. But unfortunately that is what most people do.
While there are many reasons that cause early #graying of #hair.
Major causes for premature graying of hair are:
Lack of proper #nutrition
Usage of #chemical #dyes
Keeping #scalp unclean
Consumption of some high dosage drugs
If you too are facing the problem of #premature #graying of #hair, make sure you consult a good #trichologist to find out the reason behind the problem. Once the reason is clear it would be much easier to find a solution too. If the only option you have is to color your #hair, make sure you use a color that contains no #ammonia. Hence using something natural like the henna would be a good idea. And if you are fortunate to still have a mane of hair that has not started to gray yet, make sure you take proper care of it.

Hair Transplantation procedure and its advantages
Hello good morning. I am doctor Vijay Kakkar. I am a senior consultant in plastic surgery. Today we will be discussing something about Hair Transplant.
There are many myths and many ads in the market but what is hair transplant? Who should do it and who are doing it? What are the problems? Recently we have writer very sad news about the death during hair transplant.
So let us discuss what it is and who should do it and what are the precautions to be taken and not to get fleeced by people who are not qualified are competent to do this kind of surgeries. Basically in hair transplant we distribute the hairs that means you have permanent hair on the back of the scalp which we take it and then put it on the front to make it your hairline much younger and healthier.
So now in hair transplant there are two kinds of procedure-
One is FUE that is follicular unit extraction and FUT method.
FUT is a strip kind of method that is we take a strip from the back of the scalp from the permanent donor zone which these hair which we take are resistant to male hormones and put them on the front area so that they do not fall off and again extraction method is little different but putting the here is the same in both the techniques. In FUE we take out individual hairs. This is almost called a scarless surgery. All the ones we shave it off you can always see the small tiny dots of harvested hair.
Now there are two basic different people go most of the time after a FUE that we don't want a cut or we don't want a scar but we must understand if you want more hair then we have to go for FUT method only that is sticker strip. Because a strip gives a large volume of hair and if you take a strip then you can always go for a second session of FUE. While if you take FUE if you talk about permanent zone there are hardly 2000-2200 here in the permanent zone which we take at one go. If we are taking more than that that means we are going through a non permanent zone and these hair will fall off.
So we have to be careful about these issues and once we transplant hair then we have to take certain cares that initially in the beginning there is a little swelling, the little pain when doing we give good antibiotic and it has to be done in a good setup and clean and all surgical steps have to be followed because it is a surgical procedure and should be done with surgical Precision and should be done by either qualified Dermatologist who is qualified to do this kind of surgery and has been trained or preferably by a surgeon who are routinely trained in this kind of surgery and do it routinely.

Psoriasis is a skin disease, which develops in men and women often during middle age and above. Although tests and researches are being carried out in various laboratories around the world, the exact cause of this condition is yet unknown. Psoriasis is not infectious. In other words, it does not spread by coming in contact with someone suffering from it. In case you see that you are just developing psoriasis or it is in its early stages, then you can opt for some simple and natural methods of curing it. These home remedies fall under Ayurvedic treatments and help you in getting rid of this disease before it spreads further into your body.
- Moist skin: Apply lots of moisturizer on your body. This is done to keep the skin moist and supple. The more your skin becomes dry, the chances of it bleeding and causing infections increase. It is often recommended to apply body oil or sesame oil before taking a bath as it softens the skin.
- Use natural body soaps: Sometimes the body soaps that you use are made of harsh chemicals. These chemicals come in contact with your body and aggravate the infection furthermore. You can use home made natural soaps, which are made of natural ingredients and are gentle on your skin.
- Avoid skin injuries: Skin injuries like a cut, bleeding, blisters etc. can be harmful for psoriasis. They can aggravate the inflammation and cause more damage. In fact, it is recommended that you apply moisturizer and sunscreen every time you step out of the house in order to protect your skin from further damage.
- Use medicines after consultation: Certain medicines have the ability to flare up the effects of psoriasis. Thus, when you develop this disease, it is advised that you meet a general physician and discuss your medicines with him/her in order to control the same.
- Reduce stress: Stress levels contribute a lot to psoriasis. Thus, you need to relax as much as possible. You can try out yoga and meditation to keep the stress level down and in turn control this disease as well.
- Wear cotton clothes: Wear clothes that you are comfortable in and those which do not cause irritation on your skin. Synthetic clothes sometimes cause a lot of irritation and rashes on the skin. It is something that should be avoided.
These are some of the quick and natural remedies to cure yourself of psoriasis as early as possible. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.
