My wife suffering with cold and fever. She had 30days old kid she feeds milk. Is it any effect on my kid.

Certificate course in Pain Relief and Palliative care, MBBS
General Physician, Secunderabad
Hello Mr. Lybrate-user. Your wife can continue breastfeeding the baby. It is not advisable to take medicines though, as the drug may be secreted in the breast milk. But your wife can try taking steam inhalation at home at least 3-4 times per day for a couple of days and if fever persists, consult an obstetrician for a suitable antibiotic to prevent the child from getting the cold as well. Hope this helps. Warm regards.

Bp is only very higher side. Evaluate the reason for your high bp. Look for any physician around you and you have to start some medications as suggest by the local physician. You bp is alarming. So don't delay to approach the doctor nearer to you.
